And I really appreciated Joy using different techniques and also the package was really worth it because she used different devices on my face, hands, and neck and I felt that because of those devices that hit different types of treatments really improved the quality of my skin. I did wish my esthetician talked through what they were doing, since some steps were new to me, like the zap-sounding tool, the light (?) mask where they left the room for aand the hot stone rub. I also loved the cool face mask brushed on over a net-like layer and the pressure around my temples. I would have appreciated a bit more neck-focused massage. After the facial, my hair was pretty messy and oily, and my nose was a little red. The next day, one extraction spot was still red. All of that is normal and temporary. Parking was easy, and I found a spot right in front. I also appreciated the candies by the checkout area. She even did my eyebrows, which was a really nice surprise. The only reason this wasn't a 5 star experience was because I could hear the conversations happening outside in the hallways or near the entrance area. It was quite loud and kind of made the relaxation aspect feel a bit dull. I've been to many spas and the sound level is usually kept to a minimum, and some even enforcing no noise to help facilitate a relaxing ambience. Despite this, I still appreciated the facial and how it made my skin feel after. So yes, I would recommend for the facials, but just some caution around noise level outside the rooms.
