This review is for the new Five Points location…read more Mom and I finally made it to Good Company Café in Five Points for breakfast today, and we had a wonderful experience. The girl who took our order was incredibly friendly, and the service was quick from the moment we walked in. I ordered Dad's Egg Sandwich, and Mom got the Vegetable Frittata. The bacon on my sandwich was the standout--nice, thick, and perfectly cooked. My only complaint is that the menu mentioned garlic, but I honestly couldn't taste any. If you're going to promise garlic, I want to taste garlic! Mom really enjoyed her frittata, although I think she's getting a little tired of egg dishes lately. She especially loved the toast and whatever butter they served with it. It almost tasted like maple butter, and it was delicious. The fresh fruit was also excellent (I happily finished Mom's!). My only real complaint is the size of the restaurant. It's a cozy space, but I can see it getting crowded very quickly during the breakfast rush. Overall, everything was wonderful. Friendly staff, fast service, and a delicious breakfast. We'll definitely be back!

I met a friend for lunch today. As I sat down, a friendly waitress came by to ask me about drinks…read more I ordered 2 ice waters to begin with and looked at the menu. The health rating was 96. I looked at the floors, tables and chairs. The restaurant could use some love. Some tabletops looked very worn and the cushions on chairs have seen better days. My friend ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. I ordered a chef's salad and got Dave 3 pieces of catfish, fried okra and fries. She said her grilled chicken was good and so were the sweet potato fries. 4/5 My chef's salad with ranch was good. Not great because there were old pieces of lettuce mixed in. The chicken and ham were half the portion from my last visit and diced do small I couldn't taste chicken or ham. The bacon was good and I could taste it. 3/5 Dave's catfish was excellent. He had 3 nice size fillets, fried okra and fries that he thoroughly enjoyed. There was a slice of onion added which was a bonus. 5/5 If you are looking for a good meal like grandma made, give Rolo's a try. They have meals with meat and 2, sandwiches, burgers, vegetables, burgers, and desserts. Southern home cooking y'all.

Rolo's has been in Huntsville at this location for as long as I can remember. It's just not my cup…read moreof tea. It's a standard meat and three. One of my first bosses at my current job took me to lunch here at Rolo's back in 2004. To me, the model train that encircled the restaurant was the highlight of our lunch. Yup, Rolo's has been in business since 1991, or 34 years now. I had either the chicken and dumplings, or the pork chop. The ambiance is typical of your meat and threes, with lots of booths and the restaurant was clean when I visited. The strip mall it is in has been painted in the last couple of years and has a fresher appearance. It is cool they offer a military discount, per their website it is 5 per cent. It is also cool they serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I've only had lunch here. If you are a fan of classics like pot roast, chicken and dumplings, country fried steak, catfish, fried okra, mashed potatoes, buttermilk cornbread, and biscuits, you would likely enjoy Rolo's!
