Went around Valentines days to buy wedding rings and our wedding rings weren't ready two weeks later like promised. I give companies a chance but not this one I would honestly rate this store a zero. First they had the hardest time getting my band in, my fiancé was so stressed and had to get a different band and it came in the day before our wedding... Secondly we went to solder my rings together and it took then 4 weeks PLUS it came back awful. Crooked and uneven. Getting a different band next week with a different jewelry store. read more

So sad. I used to love this store, but as the atmosphere in the mall changed, the staff here got more bitter and rude. The past 3 times my husband and I have been in there, they have acted like we were bugging them just by stepping foot in their corner. My most recent experience: I asked about a specific custom item and they told me just to go online. If I wanted to order online I wouldn't have come in the store for service!!! If they dont have an item, they dont suggest anything or offer to look anything up for special order and if you persist, their answer is to go online. I went online, alright. To a different jewelry store!!! Its going to take a LOT to change my mind about this store after giving them multiple chances to redeem themselves. We purchased 2 wedding bands, 2 watches and an engagement ring from this location, because of the convenience and I regret every single one! Thank goodness our Kay's cards are paid off! Unfortunately Ostermans went out of business in Marion so now I'm forced to deal with Kay's for my warranty checks. I hate to even ask to have them clean my rings, they are rude. I had hoped that the new store location would bring a new attitude with new employees, but no such luck. If my husband and I hadn't paid so much for our rings I wouldn't even worry about the warranty. If your thinking about buying at Kay's think again!! Go to Lowdens!!! I can spend my money anywhere, and it will not be at any Kays Jewlers. I was at Kays store in Marion, Indiana. I wanted to drop off a watch for a watch battery. The clerk that was "helping" me was standing behind a counter, separated from me, and we were approximately 4 feet away from each other. They wanted me to wear a mask, which I wasn't going to do because I just wanted to drop the watch off and leave. They refused to fix the watch, which is fine. I said I would just go somewhere else. The clerk gave me back the watch, and when I took it, she said, "Don't snatch that out of my hand!" I replied, "What?! Who's your manger?" She told her her manager was "Becky." Becky was standing at the oppostie end of the store. I left, then called the store manger to discuss the clerk's comments. The manager, Becky, was also rude. She said, "I saw the whole thing. You need to learn not to put your hands on people." I was flabergasted! Hands on people? What are you talkng about? The manager was at the opposite end of the store, we were 4 feet apart. The clerk was rude to me. I called Kays Corporate. Kays will not get one red cent of mine, and will encouarge everyone i know to avoid business at Kays. read more
