Their head of customer relations at the corporate office, Jillian Jara, lied to us stating that the jewelers working on the ring were employees of Brilliant Earth when they are in fact all third party contractors. Their store manager Andrew promised to meet us when we picked up the ring, and when we messaged we would be there he left early for the day. Now we are left with having to pay an international VAT of 25% of the value of the ring - & brilliant earth refuses to help in any way. Buy from a reputable small jeweler that makes their own jewelry, don't do business with brilliant earth.

I was then told the job wasn't finished because of the engraving inside my partner's ring--even though he had clearly said from the beginning that it was fine if the engraving disappeared during resizing. After we repeated that it was fine, we were suddenly told to come in within a few hours. The other ring was mine, and it still didn't fit properly. That day, my partner asked for a very small adjustment--between a size 5 and 5.5 (around 5.25)--because 5.5 was loose and 5 was too tight. The tall female staff member said finger size can change with the weather. I understand that, but I was genuinely worried it could slip off when washing my hands. She told us to come back on Wednesday. When I returned on Wednesday, it honestly didn't feel resized. When I asked about it, the male staff member sighed and told me to "wear it for a week and come back if it still feels loose." He also said he could resize it down by a quarter size and wouldn't charge me for it. That left me even more confused and frustrated--if it could be adjusted that quickly, I don't understand why I was told to wait until Wednesday in the first place. Overall, the communication was poor and the service felt dismissive.

So of course, I was a bit hesitant to come in here. However, I ended up being very surprised. Molly (I believe) was very nice and not overbearing at all. She was genuinely helpful. This Gracylane had a nice, newer selection of Moon Glow, Alex and Ani, Mud Pie and Blue Q. As with most of Pinecrest, there are limited street spaces outside for free parking. Now that I'm pretty sure this Gracylane is under a different leadership than the other, I'll pretty much exclusively be shopping here! I loved how well-stocked, neat and beautiful this store was.
