Warning - Do not bring your jewelry to this place for repairs!!!! They are thieves!! I brought in…read moremy engagement ring to have an upgraded stone placed in my old setting. They shaved gold from my setting and made it thinner, and also gave me less sturdy prongs for my diamond. They tried to deny what they did, but I had the shank replaced elsewhere not long before , because another jeweler thinned it out. I also made the jeweler bring out the old prongs to compare. They did make the corrections after I fought with them, but it never should have had to fight to have my ring fixed in the first place. Please remember to: Have your jewelry formally appraised. Buy diamonds that are certified by GIA with a serial number engraved on your diamond, so it can't be switched . Bring your paperwork with you and review your diamond through the microscope yourself to confirm your laser etched serial number.

My husband and I have made purchases from Corinne since the early 2000's. Both inexpensive and more…read moreexpensive pieces. Our first experience with Corinne involved my engagement ring, which was purchased from another jeweler. The ring on the bottom continued to break and the other store continued to try and repair the broken platinum ring with no luck. We finally brought it to Corinne for repair and from that point on (many years ago) I have never had any issues with the band breaking again. Which gives you peace of mind, in regards to a cherished and valuable piece. We have had other items repaired over the years and most recently my engagement ring soldered together with my two wedding bands. Essence was wonderful when handling this repair order, as well as a very small purchase I made the same day for my young daughter. I know the holidays are an exceptionally busy time at your store so I was not in any rush to get my rings within a certain time frame. At week three I did call and there was a tiny issue with the rings and the order. Essence called me back almost immediately and she resolved the small problem quickly and professionally. I would trust Corinne to purchase jewelry, repair and anything in between. There is a reason they have been in business for so many years. Corinne will always have our business. Trust, is the biggest reason why. A+ experience every time. Thank you Essence.

The only reason they are getting a star is because I had to give them one to post my review. Gold…read moreFever is completely horrible. They do not stand behind their work. I brought a wath into Gold Fever to get a battery installed. The owner called me a week later and told me that the watch needed a new movement and his cost for the movement was $60.00. A few weeks later we got a call that the watch was fixed and ready for pick up. When my wife picked up the watch the bill was $106.00. I wasn't crazy about that but it is what it is. After getting the watch back I could not pull out the crown of the watch and the watch would just stop at 11:30 everyday. It also smelled like a chemical and had a haze on it. No big deal compaired to the watch stopping at 11:30 everyday and not being able to pull ou t the crown. I brought the watch back within the first week of getting it back from them and explained what was going on. The owner was not there but the lady behind the counter took the watch and wrote some notes on the work ticket. Over the next 3 to 4 weeks I called a few times to check the status of the watch and was told on multiple occasions someone would call me back. This never happened. What did happen was after Gold Fever having my watch for an additional 5 weeks someone called me and told me the watch was ready and the bill would be $60.00. I explained to the owner that I was a little confused as they have not fixed the watch correctly the first time. basically be plamed his watch maker and offered to charge me half price. So no. I will never walk into that store again. Complete theaf and they do not stand by their work. i.e. - I paid $106.00 for Gold Fever to NOT fix the watch the first time and was charged $60.00 but only paid $30.00 the second time for them to actually fix my watch. Completely untrust worthy and they do not stand behind their work at all.

This will be my first and last purchase of Belair watches. Basically, I would NOT suggest anyone…read moreto buy these products since I bought a Belair watch for my wife several years back. The watch stopped working so I took it to a local jeweler and he changed the battery. This did not solve the problem and he told me it had a bad movement. I called Belair and spoke to a Supervisor; granted I had called three times to get thru and left two messages and never received a call back. Their customer service is seriously flawed! Anyway, I told the supervisor the issue and she said you have to ship it to us and there is a $20.00 diagnostic fee. The local jeweler told me it would cost $60.00 to fix the movement but since this was a Belair product, I wanted to inquire with them once the problem was diagnosed how much (a range) it would be to repair it. They said we cant tell you; just send it in and then we can tell you. This is simply bulldookie! I would have to pay for shipping back to them and then pay them another $20.00 to diagnose the problem when it was already diagnosed. More than likley, if I elected to send the watch to Belair, they would tell me after a 2 minute dianostic process that it has a bad movement and will cost $$ to repair it. This way, they get the watch and their $20.00! This company is not suggested; buy a Citizen since they have a better warranty and treat their clients with respect.
