Without any notice, they CLOSED my account simply because I paid off my credit card and hadn't used it for 18 months. The reason I hadn't used it was because I've been busy caring for my children with autism and haven't had the chance to go out much. The most upsetting part? I only found out my account was closed when Credit Karma notified me--NOT the company. I had planned to use the card for an upcoming celebration, but now I can't. When I called to ask why, they told me it was because I didn't use it for 18 months straight. So basically, they're forcing people to "use it or lose it." That's not loyalty, that's a trap. This decision also dropped my credit score, which makes this even more devastating. After almost two decades as a loyal customer, I regret ever trusting this company. They clearly don't care about their customers as people. This kind of practice should be illegal.

The lady who rung me up at the counter informed me that I could return an item if it's defective or if I changed my mind. This is not the case. I brought in something to be returned that was incredibly overpriced and wasn't working properly. The store manager had such an attitude with me and said she couldn't take it back because it's seasonal. She pointed to the fine print on the receipt. I let her know that her employee told me different, and she said that she couldn't return it even if she wanted to because the system would not recognize the item. I realize that businesses are hurting, but this is not how you treat a loyal customer! My Mom and I have been shopping at this location for over twenty years and have dropped some serious change! I had at least 8 other fabrics to purchase and it would take forever. He/she didn't understand, or didn't want to move it along. I asked another employee to help , then I asked if Hermes was new. Eddie went BALLISTIC, turned into a total fool recording and yelling at us that I was being rude. Trust an a-hole to hold up his phone and say "I'm recording this". I raised my voice once, then spoke in a calm tone while Eddie berated us. A woman who claimed to be the assistant manager came over shouting that she was going to call the police if we didn't leave. Didn't ask what's the problem, didn't try to diffuse the situation, just jumped in shouting. A-hole Eddie continued his tirade, shouting across the store.
