Honestly the best bakery for this area. We just love how friendly everyone is and the rotation of baked sweets. I wish I drank coffee because their coffee menu sounds delightful! They're in the middle of moving locations (but just across the street) so things are changing within the store. I recently said parking could be an issue but I've stopped by at different times and it honestly has been fine. Only issue is if there is an event downtown but you'd want to park out a bit anyways. Been going to get the baked treats since opening her first bakery, as of today's grand opening of her new bigger bakery across the street, she and her family done a super job as the new bakery is much bigger and able to display many, many more delicious goodies, treats as well as beverages hot and cold. The service from her team was amazing with the large amount of folks coming out and supporting this local business today. We got there at 10am and waited in line to two hours before we got in the shop. There was no shortage of anything after approximately 100 folks were in front of us. The interior decor was very eye catching as well as the Merch rack with shirts and hats for sale. A really great little local bakery! We went for fourth of july and tried a few treats. Her poptarts are absolutely incredible- especially if you warm it up at home! We tried some macarons, but were really disappointed with the bomb pop flavor. It was sweet, but didn't really taste like anything. We had a strawberry lemonade which was TOO sweet. We ended up mixing it half with water at home to make it drinkable. I wish they opened a bit earlier! read more

WORTH THE DRIVE I am not sure what some of these folks are talking about when they refer to the "dry" or "very little taste". What can I say. On a trip to Main Street in raeford- we stopped in. Omg! The bakery was inviting and beautiful inside. The treats were beautiful and beautifully displayed. The butter cake was exceptional as well as my oatmeal cookie with cream in the middle-it reminded me of Back home. So to say the least I misbehaved today and bought some treats. We love our community and we always try to support local businesses. You must go by and visit- check out all the cupcakes, cakes and treats . Drink some coffee. Enjoy the ambiance. The new location is great with several tables. The decor reminds me of the cute shops in Hallmark movies. I got a custard tart with raspberries and a friend got the oatmeal pie cookie. This place is a no for me. I was excited to have a local bakery and to be able to support a small business. The quality is just not there! I ordered a variety of things. The macarons shouldn't even be sold! They're hard, clumpy, very little taste, and they just are not the right consistency ($3 a piece). The pineapple upside down mini Bundt cake was nothing special. In fact, the cake was overdone and the pineapple under. The strawberry shortcake bowl seemed promising..it wasn't what it should be. I paid $8.50 for whip cream, strawberries, and the tiniest bit of cake. The prices are very unfair for the quality. Maybe it was because they're trying to keep up with the Mother's Day rush? Also, the employee helping me kept dropping products on the floor or counter. She wouldn't give them away, thank goodness, but it showed no care for the products sold. Friendly staff, gorgeous space, community oriented, and thats just the location.. don't even get me started on how FANTASTIC the food is. I have been going here for over a year now. I buy random monthly treats, I have gotten a personal cake, personal cheesecake, and Pie here. The quality is perfection. The detail in each treat is special. By far the best thing about downtown Raeford for me! Everything my family has bought from Kayla has been lights out! The shop gets busy on event days downtown but it's a must if you can make it. This past thanksgiving I ordered a pumpkin pie and a cheesecake and can say they stole the show!! This was my 1st visit here. Overall, the items I purchased were okay. I ordered snickerdoodle cookies and triple chocolate chip cookies, caramel apple macaroons, and pecan pie bars! First the good the items were all reasonable priced, customer service was good, the snicker-doodles were good as were the caramel apple macaroons. Now, the not so good. Responses to questions aren't answered in a timely manner, the pecan pie bars the crust wasn't sweet. I just ate the topping. The triple chocolate chip cookies were huge, but also hard! I was expecting chewy and moist! Don't think I'd buy these two items again, but I would give the bakery another chance. read more

I have a huge sweet tooth and I'm always trying to find the best bakery in the area... This one is def up there! Their menu changes ask the time so every time you go it's like a new experience The macaroons are to die for. I got the oatmeal cookie sandwich. This baked good puts little Debbie to shame! SO DELICIOUS!! It was two cookies with a whipped cream in the center. I would highly recommend this! I'll give them a star for creativity but the execution wasn't there. First thing is: they have latex gloves. A lot of people have latex allergies and the fact that they're handling food with latex makes it not safe for those with a latex allergy. Personal opinion: latex gloves don't belong near food. That simple. I stopped in for their hocus pocus weekend. I had read the negative reviews on the cupcakes but figured I'd take a gamble. Not worth the 20 minute drive into Raeford nor the $8 spent for two cupcakes (caramel apple and Funfetti) and a cookie. The cookie is your basic chocolate chip and the cupcakes did in fact have some crunch to them like the reviews mentioned. I was hoping the caramel apple would be more like the caramel apple sucker that comes out during Halloween but it was a vanilla cupcake with an apple jelly core with caramel drizzle over green frosting. Like I said, creativity is there but execution is lacking. And unfortunately it doesn't matter what they look like if they don't taste good. read more

We LOVE this place, especially on Saturday's when there are SINNAMON ROLLS (yes I said Cinnamon with an S), they are SINfully good. I wish she had the brown sugar cinnamon pop tarts more often, as they are my favorites. The staff there is always polite, friendly and helpful with any questions we may have. Only complaint is that sometimes the prices seem a little high but we get it. The location is great & the shop it really cute and convenient. So I went to this small bake shop after getting the munchies one hot afternoon. I was craving something really sweet and remembered that this small local shop had just opened a few weeks ago, so I decided to give it a try. I was so excited at first because the exterior of the shop looks cute. So I will rate this place a 1 star because of the cute exterior. After I arrived everything went downhill for me. As I was about to walk in I was very confused because they had two different closing hours. On the door it said that that closed at 6, however on a chalkboard sign they said that they closed at 4! It was already about 3:40. Then I walked in and their cupcakes looked decent. They also served coffee but when I tried to order one the lady at the counter said she couldn't make me an iced coffee because their expresso machine was being cleaned! I bought 4 cupcakes and they were about $3 each! The size was quite small for such a price. I did not like their customer service. When I was driving back home I thought that maybe the flavor would make up for the size but as I bit into a cupcake it was just horrid quality. The icing tasted too artificial and my chocolate cupcake had a bitter aftertaste. I ended up only taking a bite out of each before discarding them. This place is cute but their creations not so much especially at such a high price. This is a place that I will never be returning to.
