I could've sworn the woman I talked to in the store mentioned that they would need to remove the lace and move it up, but it looks like they just cut straight through all the lace at the bottom. They claim that "the approach they took with the hem follows standard practice" but if I knew they were going to do this, I would've gone with a different tailor because this is exactly what I was afraid of happening. After talking to another seamstress they said that it's too late since they did not give me the leftover lace back but she could have moved it back to the dress.. so sad that they ruined a thousands of dollar dress.

I would have given 0 stars, but the young man at the gun counter, with multi-colored hair, was phenomenal with help and customer service, these stars I gave are for him, and him alone. Academy better watch out, I might go back and try to recruit that young man to work for me.
