I could've sworn the woman I talked to in the store mentioned that they would need to remove the lace and move it up, but it looks like they just cut straight through all the lace at the bottom. They claim that "the approach they took with the hem follows standard practice" but if I knew they were going to do this, I would've gone with a different tailor because this is exactly what I was afraid of happening. After talking to another seamstress they said that it's too late since they did not give me the leftover lace back but she could have moved it back to the dress.. so sad that they ruined a thousands of dollar dress.

The clothes were just business casual button-ups at that. The customer service was not 79$ appreciated as well. If you can, find somewhere cheaper and better!
