Terrible service. Overcharged. They do not get clothes altered at the date agreed on. Saw many people come in while I was trying clothes on begging for their clothes that were still not ready. In addition, they overcharged me several times. We had already agreed on the price and the date for pickup and they did not have the clothes ready on time nor at the agreed upon price. read more

Unfortunate customer service. They texted my pick up time with hours to pick up, and then were closed. They have a hour and a half to pick up before they closed. Their text didn't mention they were going to be closed the following 2 days. I didn't get my Easter attire in time. Texted them, and no response. I would choose a different alterations place if you want things for a particular date and time. read more

Wow!! This is an excellent place for clothing alterations. I called at least 7 places for a dress shirt alteration. They all gave me their long waiting lines and periods. I called this place, excellent customer service, awesome ladies with smiles, immediately got the measurements, and called me after less than an hour with my shirt ready, I try it on, it's flawless!! Took a brand new pair of pants here and they ruined them. They completely messed up the hems of the pants, and then couldn't fix it. They then refused to replace and or refund me for my pants. They said it's not their fault as they are not responsible for replacement and or messing up the alterations. I will not be coming back here ever. Based on some of the other reviews I highly would think twice before you bring your clothes here for alterations and look elsewhere. read more

Terrible! Took in an xl shirt to have fitted. She didn't even fix anything just resewed a seam... shoulders still hung way off my shoulders, sleeves still way to long and not fitted. Brought a bridesmaid dress here to be hemmed. I'm petite so I just didn't want it to drag on the ground. Came back two weeks later and it's still dragging over two inches on the ground. I couldn't even walk in it in my heels without stepping on it. She actually said 'that's what you asked for'... ok. Why would I want a dress that I cant even walk in. Even asked if I brought in the same heels. Yup. Stop trying to blame customers for your wrong doings. Then had the nerve to charge me $20 more to fix her mistake. For an easy raw edge dress that is not double lined or anything. Awful customer service! Go to Palacio's if you want tailoring that is actually good and great customer service. They did a great job at fixing the patches on my uniform that Waynes Work Wear somehow managed to mess up.

If possible don't go there!! They are rude and they over charged me. It cost me $125 to hem 1 pair of pants, and take in at the waist, then add a zipper in 2 other pairs of pants. The middle aged woman did not speak English so the the younger woman interpreted. When I told her I was not going to give them a good review, and not come back as a customer her response was "We don't want your kind in here anyway". I am a well educated African American female and was flabbergasted by her response. There was another customer who witnessed her response and was going to call the police. I was in a hurry because I had to catch a flight, so I don't know if the police was called or not. read more

Loved going here before, even referred some people to them. Took 3 things in, 2 of which I had already pinned up to where I wanted them. Easy job, I thought. Texted me and told me they were ready. Total was $58 and change. I thought that's kind of high, but ok. When I go in to pick them up, they said it was $70! I told them how much they quoted me before and they just shrugged and said it's $70. So I left mad withy things. Went in a week later hoping to talk to as different person and explained what happened. Still the same story, clueless employees. Finally I paid for the bill and told them I won't w coming back and they just shrugged again. I know they don't care, but the customer service is terrible. Couldn't get a price estimate on a pair of pants (with 2% spandex so requiring either a serger or a stretch stick machine) over the phone after describing in detail the work needed doing, as a very experienced seamstress myself, but at this time don't have working machine needed. The girl answering the phone at 2:45pm on weekday couldn't tell me anything as she said she said just answers phone 'here' and said the seamstresses were not in for me to ask. Couldn't tell me when one would be in for me to ask. I asked if they just weren't busy enough to have someone knowledgeable on the premises regularly to talk to but she couldn't really give me an answer. I actually had several pants needing altering but just described the one pair to get idea of cost, and go from there. She couldn't tell me when someone could answer my question if I brought them in. took a pair of dress pants to be repaired because coming unhemmed on side by pocket maybe 3/4 inch long. When I left them the lady told me $10 and 2 weeks. Just went and picked up the young woman charged me $17.33, I explained I was told $10 and she called an older lady from the back. They started speaking spanish and I guess they don't know some white people understand spanish and the older lady said charge the white man more anyway. Took in a pair of lined pants to be hemmed. They quoted me a price of $18. Picked them up a couple of days later, and they told me I owed $20. When I said they'd quoted a price of $18, the lady said, "well, they're lined." They were lined when I brought them in. It's not like they just mysteriously grew a lining after I dropped them off. They'd already pinned them when they quoted the price, so they absolutely knew they were lined at the time they gave me the quote. But, I paid it, took them home and tried them on - one leg was longer than the other. Took them back, and they argued with me about it. Why would I make this up? It's more trouble for me to have to take them back. I'll never be back. read more

I went in to have a bridesmaid dress hemmed and have cups sewn in. After I was fitted I asked what the price would be and the owner WROTE ON MY TICKET 60.00. When I went in to pick up my dress they said the price was 75.00! I showed the girl my ticket and said that they quoted me 60 and it was even written on the ticket. She went and spoke to her mother ( the owner) and came back and said, it's still 75.00 I was incredibly mad and said she should have written that on the ticket! She shrugged and said sorry and rang me up. I have no problem paying for services, but I do have a problem with being quoted one price and expecting to pay another. Especially when the owner herself had quoted me and written it on the ticket! I will not be back. It seems other reviewers have said the same thing about being quoted one price and having to pay a higher one. read more
