AVOID AT ALL COSTS We took our dog here for a simple bath and nail trim and the experience was horrendous. The groomer had no idea what we meant when we asked for a flea or tick treatment and asked "your dog has fleas?" - after we clarified that we just wanted preventive flea/tick treatment and they still didn't seem to understand, we told them to forget it - we were charged for it anyway. They also attempted to stuff our dog in a cage at first while she waited, even though we made an appointment under the assumption she would be groomed shortly after. Anyone that works with dogs knows and understands that some dogs don't do cages, this groomer seemed to have no clue. Then they said we could pick her up two hours later. When we asked why so long they backtracked. The worst part was picking her up only to find her nails weren't trimmed and that she still had grass stains on her face! When I called to speak to the owner she did not identify herself until halfway through the call and was extremely combative. She asked for pictures which I sent immediately and even she acknowledged that the nails weren't trimmed but still continued to fight with me, conferencing in the groomer on the call? Absolutely nuts. She blamed me for not speaking up more when picking up the dog when all I wanted to do was get her out of there. For the record, they claimed to have trimmed all but one nail and then when confronted they claimed they couldn't cut her nails without causing her to bleed - something we've had done monthly to date at actually qualified establishments. An overall terrible experience for both me and my dog. The owner was rude and combative and the groomer seems to have no idea what they're doing. I'm sure I'm no different than other pet moms and dads, I am VERY particular about where I leave my Pomeranian. He is very anxious when left somewhere, especially when left in a crate. When I walked into Kazoodles it was very clean and nicely set up with a private grooming section. It was also very convenient because he was done in less than 3 hours which is not always the case when I take him elsewhere. When I dropped him off, the check in process was very unprofessional. She was very nice but I could tell she was in the middle of grooming a dog and it seemed as though she took my dog back and left him in the back room until she was ready. I have never been there before and had to ask a ton of questions. It seemed as though the customer service was lacking. She did not give me a time frame or ask for his rabies info or make me feel comfortable leaving him. I was very close to changing my mind and leaving. Like I said, I've never been there before so I was expecting her to verify his paperwork and give me some info on what to expect. When I picked him up he was in a crate which caused him to have diarrhea from being anxious. I know this is probably the easiest way to keep the dogs separated but I don't think that is best for him! Like I said, it was clean and she was friendly but I wish when I got there it felt more welcoming. Truly awful groomer. We took our dog here for the first time. Wasn't greeted, and wasn't told ahead of the appointment that the groomer would try to shove my dog in a cage to wait her turn. We wanted a simple bath and nail trim. When we picked our dog up, we were charged for a flea and tick shampoo, bath, and nail trim, but we noticed grass stains still on her face and her nails were still long. When we called to find out why, the owner was combative and we found out they didn't even trim her nails and grass stains are "very hard to get out." (We've done this ourselves easily many times.) I had the worse experience at this groomer today. I called and made an appointment for a nail trim for my dog. I said i would wait at kazoodles whole they trimmed my dogs nails. I hadn't experienced kazoodles grooming but my sister used them. She did warn me that they were disorganized. I'll never be back to kazoodles. This was the worst groomer appt I've ever had after having my dog for 10 years. When I arrived the store was locked. Myself and 2 other customers we're calling to let them know we were at the front door. Apparently their phone number exists at a different location so it's impossible to get a hold of the grooming location. I was told that the nail trim would take an hour and that I could not wait. They put my dog in a cage and I went home. after an hour and a half I called and was hung up on. I called back and was told by a woman that she would call me right back. That didn't happen. I sent an angry email and then received a "your dog is ready" email. I went kazoodles to get her. I complained about keeping her for 2 hrs. I didn't get an apology. I asked how much did I owe them. I'm told $45.00. I said for a nail trim? He said no I gave her a bath. I didn't ask for a bath. I asked for just a nail trim, on the phone and via email. I said I'm not paying that. Then he said he would charge me $30 for the nail trim. This place sucks! You kept my dog in a cage for 2 hrs and gave her a bath when I asked for only a nail trim. A $30 nail trim. I reached out to these guys and they were not only friendly and very easy to talk to but they were lightning fast on getting my baby in for a long overdue haircut and maintenance. The equipment is up to date they took debit card and the groomer Ashley did such a great job! I will definitely be coming back. And the location of the store makes it so easy to locate. It's been almost a month and I have yet to receive a response from the owner about my experience at the grooming salon. I asked to be contacted and also wrote an email. My main reason for one star is clear: When I went for my original appointment, the entire store was closed. I received a call an hour later stating the groomer was unaware there was an appointment. I rescheduled and upon arrival the groomer was pleasant, but seemed overwhelmed. She told me it would be awhile. 5 hours later I received a call that my dog was done. When I picked her up I asked if she was locked up the whole time. The guy told me yes, but she was walked. I asked why they didn't call sooner if they had to keep her locked that long. He then told me they did try to call me. When I said I had no call history, he said well it doesn't matter ma'am. It does matter. You lied, accused me of being an absent dog owner and the. Proceeded to tell me that my dog has x, y and z wrong with her. He said the owner was well aware of the situation and took care of it. She did not. I never spoke to her. I went here to support a small business. I will never go back because frankly no dog or human should have to be treated like that. Shameful read more

This is a really nice boutique store and the puppies in the back are really cute. My fiance and I filled out an application to adopt a puppy and are waiting to hear back! This place was really clean and the products seemed very nice. She also rescues all her dogs from Puerto Rico which is one of the number one places for mistreated and abused dogs. My first time experience was horrible. The boutique is very pricey to provide such poor service. When I dropped off my dog the groomer asked for her vaccination records and said she would return them when I picked my dog up. I specifically told her what type of cut I wanted and she DID NOT deliver at all. When I picked my dog up the doors were locked during normal business hours. A volunteer let me in and handed me my dog with no leash or collar and no vet papers. I was on my lunch break and I had to wait almost 25 minutes for her to search for the vet papers. The groomer left and went to a doctors appointment and I was told she would mail them to me. The haircut was $60 and I tipped 20% only to receive horrible unprofessional customer services and a crappy haircut. I will NEVER use these guys again and according to the reviews I should have avoided them in the first place. Please avoid this place at all cost! read more

This was the second time we had our dog to kazoodles. They were accommodating when scheduling the appointment and the place is clean and they did a fine job grooming my dog. The front desk folks are not very friendly and they groom your dog how they see fit... not how you tell them. I asked them not to trim my dog's face and they did it anyway. Their overall demeanor and warmth toward the customer and the animal just didn't seem to be present. I took my dog and someone else picked her up and we both noticed the same unfriendliness. Maybe it was just a bad day both times we took our dog but our dog was skittish, would not eat and hid in a corner the rest of the day. I know a groom is no picnic for a dog but this reaction seemed strange. Maybe others will have better luck than us. read more

First timer at Kazoodles. Worked with Vanessa and could not have been more pleased! I have never had a dog groomed who has hair instead of fur. Vanessa gave me many options and did not want me to leave until I was sure of what was going to be done with my dog. The best groomers ever! Why? 1. I called at 9 am on Saturday morning and they got my two English setters right in. 2. This was my guys' first grooming and they were both really nervous. Katerina was so patient and persuasive she got them to cooperate (for the most part ). 3. They made an exception to allow,me to stay with the boys to reassure them. 4. They did an excellent job! The boys are clean, no mats (and believe me, the clippers were a REAL challenge!), and they are very proud of themselves. We will be using them regularly! read more

"Adopted" an 8 week old terrier...though on her papers, she was listed as a German Sheppard. The front of the "boutique" was very pretty. However, the middle room that we walked into made me want to vomit. I supposed that's the room where they "groom" the doggies? Well, if that wasn't enough, this horrible creature named Torri walked us back to another room, where there were 3 stacks of cages. The litter we "adopted" from was 1 boy and 4 girls. They had absolutely NOTHING in their cages...not a toy, not a security blanket...NOT EVEN A FOOD OR WATER BOWL. These pups were 8 weeks at the time. When we asked for a specific one we had seen online, this Torri actually had to go on her phone and look it up, and match the image she found to one of the pups. We needed to get this innocent, scared, little puppy somewhere safe, and out of the clutches of what created her...WHICH WAS OBVIOUSLY A PUPPY MILL. Our "adoption" wound up costing us a sum of $375.00. However, we were NOT going to allow this crazed monster to hurt her. We learned that our dog had been flown from Puerto Rico, at 2 weeks old. We had a few scares with our new pup, which I called Torri about. I texted her back-and-forth for one whole night. After a phone call was placed by myself, to Torri, she stopped answering my calls and texts altogether. After a bit, I gave up on trying to contact Torri and decided to plead my case with other potential customers...TO NEVER GO TO KAZOODLES. read more
