Knowing that the frame and artwork were pretty pricey (but not our personal tastes) I asked Allied about installing a mirror in the frame. $75 later we have a beautifully framed mirror. Customer service was great when I dropped off my frame, but the follow-up when my project was done was non-existent. When I dropped off my frame at the beginning pf April I was told it was a 10-15 day turn-around time. No problem. About the 3-week mark, when I hadn't received a call, I emailed. Sure enough, our mirror was done. I'm sure they would have called me at some point, but I don't feel like it was my responsibility to reach out to them. I live in Iowa City and had a hard time finding someone to do this kind of job. Allied Glass came recommended by someone, so I didn't mind the travel. Recommend for their ability to provide a large number of services and reasonable pricing.

Less than 1 yr later, after extremely light and seldom use it looks hideous, and is now unusable, without the repeated expense of reupholstering it again. I travel the majority of the time and am rarely home. On top of that, it is myself alone, and I barely weigh 100 lbs, so use would be considered by anyone to be about as minimal as you can get. ... Kamal and son not only refused to stand by their own defective fabric, but were needlessly rude and condescending about it. I would go out of my way to deter anyone from doing business with them. ... Be advised that they are overly friendly and personable to obtain your business, but just the opposite when it comes time to standing by what they sell. Cedar Rapids Overhead Door folks are great! Our rental townhouse garage door keypad didn't work…read moreand the landlord didn't know the code in any event. The 800# Customer Service Agent walked me through resetting the numbers a couple times, but they indicated the key pad was broke. They actually asked me if I thought the Landlord knew how old the opener was?? Ha! So I sent the local website a service request. I got a call almost immediately from Melody and scheduled the repair. Mike came within the given service window and fixed us up with a new keypad. And they haven't yet billed us for the new keypad. I'm impressed and Thankful!
