"Remodeled kitchen and baths" before we purchased the house: I should have looked closer at the…read morework NOT FINISHED. Did not properly prep walls NOR ceilings. Primer slopped on and cracked over the pre-existing, high-gloss paint. Took us weeks to scrape off fresh paint, sand, repair, prime and color coat walls & ceiling in bath. Plumbing was SUPPOSED to be fixed by a certified plumber BEFORE we moved in, but wasn't done. Needed to call plumber ourselves as sink pipes in basement washroom sink FELL apart the day after we took occupancy. Also, same sink has ONE shut off valve for cold, but none for hot AND IT LEAKS. One outside spigot needed complete replacement even though we asked them to fix it and they assured us it was done. (DON'T take anyone's word for ANYTHING. ASK for receipts from licensed workers.) Washer backs up in basement. We might need to tear up asbestos tiles and cement floor...to be decided later. Tiles on kitchen backsplash are NOT straight and they used black grout, so the mess is exacerbated and they put wood strips instead of cutting tiles under microwave. Put a coat of polyurethane on kitchen counter but didn't move stove, so stove has it along entire side. {JUST LAZY!} New cabinets were not installed straight and they stick out from under the countertop. One cabinet door rubs against the wall. Floor tiles not secure in upstairs bath. Didn't caulk one side of the shower nor in front of the tub. Didn't hook up dishwasher. {Asked for that to take place after inspector caught that one.} Air conditioner has slow freon leak, so THAT didn't work a month after we moved into house. Finally, the phone line crackles. We specifically requested garbage get removed. They left hundreds of pounds of scrap metal, broken toys, wood, pipes, windows, etc. between the attic, basement, and garage ceilings. We've already taken two loads to dump with over 300 lbs. of metal ALONE! Thank God for home warranty, but each claim costs Us $100.00! We've had to call them several times already.

Bottles and chip bags in the road. If it were Wednesday afternoon, I would think the trash trucks were sloppy, but this was Tuesday.. Did not seem like a very professional group.

ACC did not inform myself or my sales person of the date they planned to install. I did not receive a call the day of install to confirm or give a time frame, which is something they did do on the day they came to measure so I was really surprised that I didn't hear from them when they were on their way. It has been 4 days now and my sales person and I have both tried to get a new date scheduled but we cannot get anyone to talk with us to resolve the situation, even to the point of trying to contact the owner but still no response. The only thing I've been able to get from the receptionist is that they are currently scheduling 2 weeks out, I would have to wait until then. I do not feel that it is acceptable that I should have to go to the end of the list just because somewhere along the line the chain of communication broke down. I have not been made to feel that my concerns are important to them or that getting to my install in an acceptable timeframe is of any importance to ACC at all. There is a lot of finger point between my sales person and ACC but no movement towards a resolution. My next stop will be the Better Business Bureau to work toward a full refund so that I can take my business elsewhere.
