The nails are excessively thick, the zebra design looks poorly executed, and the stones on my thumb are dull, crooked, and missing in several areas, leaving obvious gaps. What is even more concerning is that the zebra design on my index finger has already smeared after only a few days. A set of nails at this price point should not be falling apart almost immediately. For $105, I expected professional-quality work, attention to detail, and durability. Instead, I received a set that looks unfinished and is already showing significant defects. I met Henry first before he branched out on his own, and he's so good that I've followed him from Rancho to Upland. I've learned a few things about him that make me really appreciate his work. Being a nail tech isn't just a way to make money for him. He takes his craft seriously and doesn't settle for mediocrity. I'd show him an inspiration pic, and Henry always surpasses my expectations. Sometimes I'd show him two different pics, and he'd put his own artistic spin on it. Fantastic work every single time. As I'd get my nails done, I'd see Jason work on his own clients, many of whom have also followed him from Rancho to Upland. Jason takes his work just as seriously as Henry. Jason can also do very intricate, freestyle artwork. They are both so extremely talented! Also, they do not use cheap products. Even when they were working for someone else, they'd spend their own money to buy higher-quality materials to use on their clients. That's how you know they care about their work. I love them both! I called to see if they had any availability and they were able to make appointments for me and my sister. It's in a plaza with plenty of parking. The interior and decor was really nice, clean, and spacious. I did the hard gel manicure (by Vivian) & hard gel pedicure (by Holly) that include hard stones which comes with lotion & massage. Holly said that with hard gel manicure it's an additional cost so it would be total of $41. While my sister did the gel manicure (by Gina) & gel pedicure (by Helen) with cat's eye color which has an additional cost of $30. They offered a free drink of your choices of wine, beer, tea, water, etc. which I thought was really nice since I have never seen any nail places offered that before. I went with green tea while my sister went with herbal tea. They were all very friendly and helpful. I felt very refreshed and clean after getting this done. The nails came out pretty, but only thing I didn't get from the manicure was lotion and massage. I just noticed Vivian used the oil to put on my hands and arms. I was waiting to see if I get lotion and massage, but had to hurry up and leave since my sister had an appt after this. When we got the pricing, the total for me and my sister was $236. I wanted to get clarification of the pricing, but didn't have time since we were in a rush. Next time we come, will make sure to do that since I was trying to look at the pricing menu and I couldn't figure it out what the cost to make it to that. However, I would come here again, but make sure they did provide all the services that should be included and ask for a breakdown of the services since no receipt is provided of the breakdown.
