Very disappointed. We ordered fish tacos and a Ketchum Burrito from their food truck today. We couldn't eat the burrito as half of it was barely warm, the other half was cold. I brought it back to the truck immediately and asked if they could reheat it as it was cold. The man asked " what part of it is cold"? I said the first half. He asked "Was it the guacamole or sour cream that was cold?". I said it was the chicken, sauce, and wrap. He said " Give it to me". I then asked if they could reheat it, I would be fine with that. He said " " Just give it to me". He was obviously angry, and I had been very polite with him. I gave it to him.... Then they never brought it back out. I was sitting in plain view. We ordered two burritos for takeout on a Sunday evening. The Boise burrito, with wild salmon and Idaho potatoes, was the best burrito I've ever had in my life and that is not an exaggeration. Portions are huge, and it broke my heart that I could not finish my burrito but it was very hearty and filling. My husband ordered the burrito with pork and yams and he got extra meat...which he didn't need, because again, portions...but he still managed to finish it and was incredibly satisfied. Yelp did not steer me wrong with this amazing lunch spot in Ketchum. We spent the morning skiing at Sun Valley and decided to hop on the free local bus to this burrito joint. I'm so glad we did! The food options and price points were better than anything we could have gotten at the resort. They had plenty of vegetarian options including outside the box ones with tofu. I was torn between getting the tacos or burrito and decided on the latter. My husband did the same. We picked two different types of veggie filled burritos. I loved both of them! Their use of cabbage is not only authentic but delicious. The crunch definitely stands up to the amazing salsas, guacamole, and sour cream found in their burritos. I give bonus points for the variety of sauces that they have next to their drink station. They were all AMAZING! I loved the variety (verde and rojo) as well as the varying spice levels of each. (I think there were 4 total.) The size of their regular burritos are enormous! It is way more food than you'd expect for the price. It is super filling and will hold you over for hours! They also have beer at a reasonable price. I high recommend KB's if you're in search for a great lunch in the city. read more

Certainly not the best Mexican food I have eaten. Some of the items we had were great and some were not. The fish tacos were great. (5 stars) I had a Ketchum burrito with steak. I would honestly give this 2 stars. I ate the entire burrito and had like three bites of meat. I guess on the positive it would have been good for a vegetarian. The wedding I was in town for was a few hours away, but I needed a great base for a night of dancing and wedding celebrations...thank goodness KB's was there to deliver the delicious lunch I so desired. I went for the Jordan Burrito - primarily because anything with yams I say yum to - and it was unbelievable. My husband had the chicken enchiladas made with two tortillas( quesadilla style). The young girl taking our order was not very knowledgeable, When I asked her what kind of cheese the burrito had she did not know. The gluten free tortilla here is excellent. However, the burrito I ordered was 75% if not more rice. Have eaten at KB's a different location, and surprised at how delicious and fresh their shrimp corn tacos were. Today, at this ketchum location the order was a miss. Alert ! The green sauce that they have at the station had also gone bad. I didn't know until after I put it on the burrito and took a bite, it taste off-fermented and like dry wine, had to spat it out so I didn't get sick. I ate at KBs the day before and used the same sauce so could tell that it was obviously off-tastewise. I phoned to let the manager/owner know so he could pull it off the shelf-so another unsuspecting customer wouldn't get sick or have their meal ruined. However, rather than checking the sauce, he insisted on spending 10 minutes on the phone asking if it's devil sauce, or the etc etc, after I already told him it's the green sauce, there were like 5 total containers for customer and several were red, so really he had to check 2/3 ...and he kept on circling the issue and repeatedly said he made them fresh this morning...well that may be true, but it's the afternoon now and sitting there in the heat, whatever else combo, it went bad. I believe he could have just taken a minute and check the sauce vs staying on the phone, being defensive, and repeating the same thing and asking the same question. Not good service. Decent food. Pretty much the only place open during lunch time. Here is the issues... we ordered a soda, as most normal people do. We went to fill it up and their ice machine was broken. We inquired, the staff did inform us that it was indeed broken. And stated that they had no ice anywhere in the building. There was no offer refund. During our visit many more customers came through and ordered lunch and soda. Not one. Not one of them was told the ice machine was broken. No sign was placed either. I realize this is petty. Awful experience. 3 of the 4 meals we ordered were wrong. The burrito BOWL came out as a burrito, the chicken enchiladas came with no chicken and when we pointed it out they never brought us the chicken for it. And finally the burrito that clearly said ONLY cheese, beans and steak had rice, guac, and salsa on it and when we asked them to fix it they argued about it and then just scrapped the guac, rice and salsa off, taking the cheese with it.
