Went out in 13° weather looking for a place to eat in Ketchum. Finding some places having over a 2 hour wait, we noticed KB's through their window. The prices looked right and Mexican food is ALWAYS good, so we decided to go in! We ordered the Ketchum Burrito with carnitas, the shrimp tacos, and bean burritos for the kids. The price was low and the food was GOOD! The Ketchum Burrito had real good flavor with a little kick. The shrimp burritos were PACKED with shrimp and so yummy! If there are waits at other restaurants, or no waits at all, stop in here for a quick, inexpensive, and great meal! read more

I love their Sunshine burrito, but the last 3 times I've ordered from the Ketchum location they've messed up my order. This time they gave me an entirely different burrito from what I ordered, and I didn't realize it until I got home. I thought maybe I got someone else, but no, it was my name on the bag with my add on. So frustrating but otherwise the food is great especially for vegetarians. read more

Perfect fish tacos. I also appreciated that they had a decent children's menu and offerings. The Boise burrito was a bit weird.

I had a pork burrito with a gluten-free tortilla, and it was fantastic. I'd recommend this place to almost anyone. However, if you have celiac disease, be careful and make sure they give you your own number to avoid getting someone else's (non-gluten free) order. I ordered my gluten-free burrito at the counter, but didn't get a number because I sat with the previous customer, and then a different person brought me a plate. I took one bite and knew immediately that they had given me a wheat tortilla. They rectified the situation, but just beware and take precautions by double-checking that you got your gluten-free entree before taking a single bite. (And people wonder celiacs are so irritable... maybe because we get sick when we occasionally let our guard down!) read more

I was in my car looking for something to eat in the small town of Ketchum Idaho when I saw KB's Mexican restaurant. I walked in and saw all the awards on the walls thinking it would be a good place. We ordered the original burrito and some chips and salsa. The best thing about this place is the mild salsa which is actually very good. But when I went to fill my basket with chips I was greeted by a rock hard old chicken tender looking piece of food with a few bites taken out of it right in the supposedly fresh chip dish. I pointed it out to a worker and she just kinda shrugged without offering a refund or anything even though I think that's probably a health code violation and she didn't even put fresh chips in it. Then I asked if the chips were actually fresh and she said yes but when I started eating them they were very stale and not good and my original burrito was just rice wrapped in a tortilla I didn't find any egg and barley any traces of what they call chorizo. To say the least my disappointment is unmeasurable and my morning and car ride home is ruined. If you have tastebuds and a sence for good Mexican food don't go to KB's in Ketchum Idaho. read more

I don't understand the rave reviews for this place. It was below average in our experience. The quesadillas barely had any cheese, the pork was dry and lacking flavor, the fish tacos were mostly cabbage, the shrimp tacos consisted of a few pieces of overcooked salad shrimp and loads of cabbage. The "cabo sauce" tasted like pink mayonnaise and the salsa had little flavor as well. The enchiladas were not rolled but flat like a quesadilla with the tiniest bit of cheese on top and a green salsa, no sauce. Even the rice and beans, normally one of my favorite parts of a Mexican meal were uninspiring, and the only meals that included them were the enchiladas. How they have 3 locations and are opening a fourth is beyond me. read more

We ordered take out. Fast service, fresh quality food. Good, reasonable sized portions, not overly large. Excellent guacamole and fresh salsa. Not overly special....or necessarily "authentic" but for the middle of Idaho in a ski resort town when your in the mood for Mexican..good choice. read more

Went to their Mobil outlet at Warm Springs and ordered the burrito with salmon spinach cilantro and greens. It came with everything but the salmon which I did not notice until I got home, so I paid $10 for spinich, cilantro and greens, buyer beware. read more

This place is a joke and the customer service sucks. They got most of the order wrong on a carry out and the cashier wouldn't take accountability when we had to drive all the way back to the restaurant to fix it. Would've given them 1 star but the food was actually decent. After fighting with the cashier for about 10 minutes on what was missing and what was wrong, she finally said, "Fine!! We'll redo it." Might be worth your time to eat at the restaurant so you can make sure your order is right. Maybe they'll treat you better, too. read more

Really great food but terrible guy at front taking orders. I saw him take money from customers and then wrap my burrito without washing his hands. Not to mention my kids and I speak Spanish perfectly and while he sat at back table with other emotes speaking poorly that I asked him to re make burrito he was less than gracious. I asked him his name and he told me he didn't have one. Clearly super in professional and NOT sanitary. My kids says there food was good though. read more

This place is amazing. One of the best burritos you'll find anywhere. So psyched they have a Ketchum location again after a few years without one. My go to is the Hailey burrito. Great beers available too, and you can't go wrong w anything on the menu and it's all reasonably priced. Casual setup, order at the counter. This place is must for any visit to the area. read more

Chips were out of a bag (you can buy better at the store), salsas were just okay, the fish was fishy (I'm not sure about the use of tropical fish, cooked on a flat top rather than fried or grilled, on a fish burrito anyway). read more
