I would not recommend this mechanic. I gave him the benefit of the doubt about his reviews, but after completing the task I needed to get done, I had two more issues, which ive never had with my vehicle. I explained that to him, and didn't want to take any responsibility for any subsequent issue. Now I have to take it to a different shop and spend more than what I paid him for the initial task. DO NOT USE THEM! We took our pick up there with a fuel leak problem and then we were told we needed a new fuel pump. He would give us no receipts for anything said he bought. Had the truck for 8 days wanted to charge us 66 hours of labor and it was in worse condition when we picked it up, don't run well enough to even load it on the trailer. I reached out to him asking for an update. He said the vendor did not respond to him regarding the return. Another week passed by no word from Kurt regarding the return. I called him, left a voicemail and texted no reply. A few more days passed by I called, left him another voicemail and texted again no reply. By this point I realized I wasn't going to get my money back. If you are broke and willing to steal from your customers just say that. I feel sad, I just paid $65 for nothing, i meet with Kurt and I asked how much to replace AC compressor, we agreed $350, called and make future arrangements for him to visit and perform job at site, he send me a text he is on his way 224pm I reply 228 great, 248 I just notice the message stating the price change from 350 to 800. i did not see those text, until later 301 he has 17 min away from site I reply be safe, once he was here I'm hearing the change of price, I apologize that Im not going to pay that much for 2 or 3 hrs of work 800, doctor's hour rate, I was surprise, once again I apologize, Kurt mentioned $65 dollar pay for visit, Kurt did not diagnose vehicle, we just talked and stated again the $65. Wow, what a great scheme for abuse. I feel bad that they may be good mobile mechanic with honesty, but I just can't trust KC Mechanic or any other mobile or small company. Sad, money may not be all but it's needed, but to make money with out doing much of nothing, your reputation of not being humble is none. I do not recommend nor will consider in future their service, despite if they are great or bad as mechanic, the experience was already abusive and low in understanding how businesses operates, be mindful like I'll be in my decision when it comes to trust and give chance to people who do not appreciate our motives to support small businesses. Mechanic gave a quote of 350 to purchase and replace the radiator in my vehicle. After he removed the radiator, he realized he purchased the wrong size. He called to request the correct radiator size and that the new amount he was charging us was now $480. He stated he would pick up the correct size the following morning and finish the job. He demanded we pay him for the time it took for him to remove the radiator and requested for us to pay for the (wrong size) radiator when he could have returned it and received his money back) My dad informed him it was not our fault he messed up and the quote should still stand at $350 not $480. My dad then told the mechanic we would pay him until the job was finished, however my dad in good faith paid him $200. The mechanic then stated he would be here the following morning and it would take 20 minutes to finish the job. The following morning, my dad purchased the radiator for $124 and I called the mechanic to let him know so he would not pick up the part. I asked him how much we still owed him and he said $200. I informed him we purchased the radiator and we had already paid the $200. He yelled at me and said he was on his to my home to complete the job. he never showed up. My dad and I have left several messages and passed, and has yet return our phone calls. He basically charged us $200 to remove the radiator and left it out. He ripped up off. I reached out to them and they were very prompt in responding with a correct diagnosis for my vehicle without even looking at it. I did not use his service as I chose another mechanic to work with but he knew what he was talking about when I described my issues with my vehicle.
