Upon walking into the shop the employees were SO loud! That should'very been my que to walk out but instead decided since I was already there to go ahead and get a mani and pedi. The pedi was horrible, she barely scrubbed my feet and didn't trim anything off my already overgrown toenails even when I asked her to trim them down. I decided to get gel polish on my real nails, to which she also decided not to trim "..because you have good nail beds". Last time I checked, I was paying good money for a service, not your opinion. This place is horrible! I got a fill in for my gel nails and the woman did the shaping and polishing terrible. The polish bubbled up as soon as I went outside. Once I went back in to ask her to fix the nails both workers had attitudes! read more

This wasn't the best pedicure I've ever had, but it was definitely budget friendly, only $20, plus the $5 I opted to pay for nail art designs on the big toes. The woman working on my feet was friendly; the water was only lukewarm (but I think they use cooler water on hot summer days?); my feet were scrubbed and lotion was rubbed in during a brief massage. The polish looks good. Definitely not a luxury spa place, but a decent and quick pedicure for a really good price. read more

This place is a joke haha. Went here today for gel removal and a full set of gel nails. It was super painful to remove the old gels and the lady spent maybe 10 minutes on my manicure. I can't believe this place gets any business! I was the only one in there. On the bright side it was 20 dollars haha. I live in the DC area and that's unheard of! read more

Awful worst pedi ever! A Little boy started my pedi bath and took the separator out from between my toes while the employees worked on their own feet and the little boy was the one taking the payment!Wow Rude rude rude ....Sloppy and fast pedicure...never again read more

I usually like to write only positive reviews, however, I don't want anyone else to have the same problems that I did. I was enticed to come here for the first time with the seven dollar eyebrow waxing. I did not receive a friendly greeting, and there were no social graces whatsoever. They shuffled me to a back room, and were short and rude with me. Because she was in such a hurry, she dropped hot wax on my brand-new dress, and then proceeded to dab at it with a little paper for two seconds and then said "it's okay". I, almost in tears, said "no, it's not okay, and the wax is still sticky all over my dress." She did say she was sorry, but still charged me full-price for a subpar eyebrow job. My brows were still sticky, and she used no baby oil. Don't go here, friends. read more

My daughter and I went in for pedicures, which were the fastest I've ever experienced. My feet were barely wet when the lady went to scrubbing them. I told her i wanted them aqua with white tips. She started painting the tips aqua, my daughter noticed this before i did and told me. When i told the lady thats not how i want them done, she was rude about it. There were 3 ladies and a young boy working in the store. All 3 ladies were very loud and obnoxious, kept pushing their services which i kept declining. We must have been told that they are open on Sunday 6 or 7 times. This poor little boy that was in there was about 5 yrs old, trying to play his video games and one of the ladies was shoving corn dog in his mouth. NEVER, EVER will i go back there. When I came in I noticed that the workers were a little snappy but I paid it no attention, when I started to get my nails done a lady walked in and asked if someone was working there , the ppl that was working in the salon gave off a very rude attitude and rushed her out the salon. When I got done with my services I noticed that my hand was not how I wanted it to look and you can tell that it was a rush job due to the service that was giving and the out put of their work I will not be coming back , I didn't want to ask them to fix it due to the attitude they were giving off so I have to go and pay for a whole full set again .... read more

She cut my toenails so short I started bleeding and it was so painful. Not relaxing at all. I couldn't wait to just leave!!! The worst nail salon I have ever been to. If I could give zero stars, I would. This place should be shut down, it is so horrendous. My first experience at KD Nails was getting a gel manicure that left much to be desired. My nails were left jagged and rough, so much so, my nails snagged my blouse while I was walking out the door. I immediately went home and tried to fix the carnage. I vowed to never get my nails done there again. However, four months later I needed to get gels taken off and I decided to give them another try. I figured they couldn't mess up taking off gels, but oh how wrong I was. Right when I sat down I saw the lady take out an electric file and my alarms went off. Everyone knows that reputable salons take off gels by soaking a cotton ball with acetone and wrapping your fingers in foil so that the gel softens and can be scrapped off with ease. Despite my apprehension, I let the lady start filing off my gels and within 5 seconds she filed too deep and gouged a chunk out of my nail. The pain was excruciating and a sliver deeper she would have drilled straight into my nail bed. I pulled my hand back and told her I would like to soak them off. She looked at me with frustration and poured a bowl of acetone for my nails to soak in for 30 minutes. Story short, I walked out of there with jagged nails AGAIN and with residual gel polish they could not completely get off. NEVER AGAIN will I step foot into this place!!! read more

I wish I had paid attention to the last review, but I wanted a pedicure on Sunday and was having a hard time finding a place open so I have this one a try. I asked for a spa pedicure and got 30 seconds of lukewarm water plus the worst pedicure ever. I cut my own toenails so the woman only spent maybe 2 minutes 'shaping' my nails. She then slathered on polish in the same manner as the last reviewer and smeared lotion on the front of my legs with one stroke. The whole thing took maybe 10 minutes. I had been reading and wasn't paying attention to the polish. I couldn't believe it when I looked up. Seriously, my 6 year old could have done MUCH better. The polish on my toenails was lumpy, cakey and uneven, and there was polish ALL over my toes. When I pointed it out the woman was very rude and yelled at me that it was not her, but was because my toes are lumpy (which they most definitely are not). Eventually she did repaint my toes slightly better and I did pay full price for a very frustrating, insulting, and bad pedicure. Trust me, that woman has no idea what she is doing. I feel like you have to TRY to give a pedicure that bad. read more
