    Happy hour cruise

Love this Catamaran! Best crew really friendly and fun! I've done this one the most because we always have a good time! Good music, drinks and great views!

    Phenomenal views.

I saw these boats loading while hanging out on the beach the first day of vacation. I knew right away that I wanted to book. They have sunset cruises, firework cruises, and daytime cruises. I took the sunset cruise. It was an amazing time. The crew was friendly, funny, and great hosts. The space in the boat is great. You can sit in the front on the nets, the side benches, or on the back. There is no bad seat. They stay out longer than the white and blue boat (don't know the name of the company). But you get pre sunset, sunset, and then a nice slow return to the beach. They have unlimited drinks. This is a nice perk. But do everyone a favor and take it easy. No need to overdo it. This is a fantastic option and well worth the cost. Highly recommend!

Went with Ke Kai back in 2021 and decided to book them twice during my 2024 Hawaii trip. Not only did one of the crew members save my life last time, but everyone is always friendly and very chill. The catamaran is shoes off, bright yellow so you can't miss it, and past Duke's. Firework tour underway! Highly recommend checking for Tropic Storms before booking as it was very overcast. UPDATE: Ke Kai fireworks show was cute but was $75 per person for 10-20minutes of fireworks from the Hilton Hawaiian Village. If you're strictly trying to either: - get cute pics with fireworks in background - avoid beach crowds - want to drink / be served drinks while on a boat at night I'd say it's worth it, otherwise I like the sunset tour more.

It was a fun time riding the waves from and to the sand on the beach in front of Duke's Restaurant. The 90 minute sail gave us great views of Waikiki and Diamond Head. I would recommend this fun cruise!

We booked this 10 mins before setting sale. It was a perfect day. Caleb and the girls and Justin the Captain were amazing. Knowledgeable, friendly and kind. The snorkeling was great, saw.lots of fish and several beautiful turtles. The Maitais were great. Would highly recommend and will definitely do it again when we are back in Hawaii.

We booked a last minute snorkeling tour and it was wonderful. The guides made sure that we were prepared to snorkel in deep water and we saw several turtles and lots of fish. I'm not the strongest swimmer and it was an easy and fun experience.

    A must do

POV. Your flight from Japan leaves 2.5 hours late causing you to miss your connection in Honolulu and now have a 10 hour layover. What do you do? Leave the airport, have lunch at the beach then take a catamaran ride in Waikiki. All 4 guys on the crew made the experience even better. I can't remember all their names but they were all phenomenal (I think maybe 2 of them were Noah & Carlos). Unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included in the price of admission. There's also a men's and women's bathroom on board. What an awesome day. Mahalo to all the crew.

Ready for a great time? Make sure to make your reservation on the Ke Kai Catamaran (highly recommended their sunset cruise) a lot of people on board but definitely plenty of room for everyone! & if you're in Hawaii with the Fam, don't worry it is family friendly! Celebrated our wedding anniversary and had a blast on this sunset booze cruise! The crew was amazing, high energy and you're guaranteed a great time!! Definitely a must if you're visiting o'ahu!!

One of the ABSOLUTE best things to do when visiting Oahu, ESPECIALLY if you're staying Waikiki, then it's a must-try. You go to the meetup spot on Waikiki beach, the catamaran crash lands onto the beach, and the entire group boards from sand-to-deck in a very memorable fashion. The crew does an amazing job at what they do, putting your safety above all else. This allows you to completely relax and fully take-in the experience. But your safety isn't the only thing the crew can do well, from captain to bartender, they all make the experience 10x better with their humor and genuine care for their passengers. Not to mention the "3 drinks per passenger" is not a real rule, as the crew is trying their best at getting you as much as you want (everyone was double fisting Mai Tais). Our group was apart of the sunset cruise so the views I got from this booze cruise was the best out of my entire trip. Some of the best pictures you'll be able to get for your trip. We had about 25 other people on the cruise with us but it did not feel crowded by any means, you will have plenty of space for your group. Some tips: - Wear Sandles, flip-flops, Chacos, etc... - You might get wet as the water crashes over the boat so don't wear anything you wouldn't wanna get wet. - Let the guy with the camera take pictures of your group. For $10 you get a really nice high-quality photos he prints off and gives to you before you get off the boat. - If you get sea sick let the crew know immediately, they know what they're doing and will be more than happy to help.

It was quite confusing to find the meetup point at the beginning, but asking the hotel staff did help us getting there. We went on the high-tide day so needed to walk a bit from the usual boarding area. Probably helpful to remind people wearing slippers as you'd need to take shoes off. They did provide proper and plenty storage spaces for your footwear on the boat (appreciated!). Drinks were pretty much bottomless and they had their very own Mai Tai so you could really enjoy the 'complete Hawaiian package'! The only problem with high tide day, it meant be prepped to get wet and going on and off the boat would be quite tricky as you needed to manage timing to avoid the tide from getting you soaking wet. I was unfortunately not the pro and literally got half-bottom wet, getting off the boat LOL. Paid off by the gorgeous sunset view!!

Every step from booking to sailing was clear, concise, and time-efficient. BEFORE THE SAIL: About a week prior to our trip from mainland to Oahu, I contacted Kiah to schedule a sailing excursion. Communication via phone, text, and email made the process easy and time-efficient. She was prompt in responding and the reservation was set quickly. With the busy-ness of traveling, I appreciated the reminder texts and emails! DAY OF: We arrived at Kewalo Basin Harbor,Pier C (at the end of the parking area) and called Sail Honu as instructed. We entered through the gate, walked to the end of the pier, and met our friendly sailing crew of 2: Kiah and Natalie. *It was a special treat to see a honu (turtle) floating in the water nearby! After some brief instructions, we left the dock for our 2-hour sail. We had four in our group and expected to have a great time, but it really was the best time...better than anticipated because of Kiah and Malia. Everything for parking, directions, rules, what to bring, wear, etc., is sent in advance, along with reminder texts and emails.
