Such a great experience with Charters Oahu. We went with our two daughters, 11 and 16, and the crew was awesome. Aaliyah was especially great with my youngest. She even dove down about 15-20 feet to grab her some shells and kept her entertained playing 20 Questions. The other crew member was great too, I just can't remember her name. Captain was awesome, photographer was great, and we saw a ton of sea life. So many turtles I lost count, and at one point we were surrounded by fish. Really fun, relaxed experience. Unforgettable turtle snorkeling experience! Just got back from a turtle snorkeling trip with Oahu Charter and it was absolutely amazing. We saw so many sea turtles gliding right beneath us -- way more than I expected! The water was calm and clear, making for perfect visibility. It was such a magical experience getting to watch these gentle creatures up close in their natural habitat. We had a great time! It's been 38 years since I last went snorkeling but once I got into the water and got used to the coast guard approved inflatable vest (which I deflated so I could actually dive) it was like I had never stopped, minus the running out of breath and getting used to fins again. While the recent storms reduced the visibility to about 10 feet, the staff was very helpful in bringing the fish to us by using potato chip crumbs to get them to come close, and every time a turtle surfaced they herded us towards it so we could see the turtle! It was a good swim, the equipment was clean and in new condition, and they did their best to make sure we had a good time. With visibility being a bust the captain on our way back found a pod of Hawaiian Spinner Dolphins who swam in and out of our wake, great bonus experience going above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience! They had a photographer on board, her name is Angelina and she made the experience awesome. Captain was a vibe. We saw turtles and all kinds of sea life. we even held a sea urchin! 10/10 experience. Hubby and I had a great time on the sunset cruise. It was an all female crew which I loved and I loved how compassionate and kind they were once they realized I was legally blind based on cane. Truly made for a great time. The ladies understood how to help me board on and off the boat which I greatly appreciated. They offered light snacks and beverages. Alcohol was BYO. The timing was great and the ride was amazing. You can see the coast of Waikiki and Diamond head and on the way back to see actual sunset was gorgeous. They offer to take pictures of your couple and can move about the boat was nice. When you get to pier B, look for their trailer and hang out by it. Someone will be around to provide a we code to submit waiver before boarding and you will have to take shoes off so come in sandals for easier time. Booked this little adventure for my family and we had an amazing time. The crew was great--Maddie, Chris, Cate and Aleiah took great care of us. This is a smaller charter, so it was nice to not have to be on a boat with so many people. It felt like a more intimate experience, even though there were about 20 of us. we got to see a lot of wildlife. Many many turtles. It's true. It really is a turtle canyon. The reef was teeming with beautiful fish. Just make sure to respect nature when you're out there and keep a distance from turtles. It is illegal to touch them here. read more

Honestly not worth it. Seen only 2 turtles and they were pictures. They all swam away from everyone swimming to them. The crew was nice but not worth it since you're paying to see the turtles. The snacks and drinks were a small bag of chips and a canned drink and a tiny slice of pineapple that was the size of my pinky, they were rationing. They force reviews on people leaving and ask for tips. read more

We booked a turtle snorkeling cruise with Charter Oahu and had such a wonderful time! I went with my husband, my sister-in-law and her fiancé, and my in-laws, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. We saw so many turtles, both in the water swimming and ones that came up for air. The crew made everything fun, safe, and easy. My father-in-law, who is older, was even able to get into the water for a little bit thanks to the crew helping him in and out. My mother-in-law chose to stay on the boat, and the crew checked on her often, making sure she was comfortable and still part of the experience. They also shared tons of fun facts about the turtles and the different fish we spotted, which made the cruise even more enjoyable.
