Our favourite vendor ever!!! We spent a few weeks researching and looking for a photographer and videographer to capture our elopement. We were so impressed with Keani and her husband Brad right from our initial phone call. Our gut (and of course their incredible work) told us that they were the right choice! Our little elopement on the North Shore wouldn't have been what it was without Keani and her husband Brad! Keani was so personable, friendly, and professional right from the start. I was able to communicate with her about every little detail even though I was all the way on the east coast. She is a true local and had so many great suggestions and recommendations for the event location and other vendors to use. Brad is a licensed officiant and performed our ceremony for us while Keani worked her magic. After the ceremony Brad got out his camera and they both worked together in perfect harmony. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! When I first contacted Keani, she was super helpful from the get go! She responded quickly & had recos for everything (flowers, location, & officiant). This was great given we were planning our special day remotely. Her communication is fantastic! Keani even offered to meet us in advance to ease any nerves for our big day. Flash forward to the actual day.. her & her husband Brad were amazing! They are extremely talented & very attentive to detail. I love our family pictures that Keani took, she is an amazing photographer! She shot family pictures for our Christmas cards at Manoa valley and she was super easy to work with. She makes you feel comfortable and gives great direction and she was amazing with our 2 year old daughter, who is usually pretty shy when taking pictures. Keani was well prepared for the shoot and very professional. She also brought some cute props and our pictures turned out really beautiful. WHERE TO EVEN BEGIN!! From the initial outreach, Keani and Brad were SO personal and easy to connect with - they asked to FACETIME. This stood out to us compared to the other photographers we inquired initially. K+B made us feel special and really paid attention to the details, explained everything and understood all of our asks. They've become more than just our "wedding vendor" - we consider them our friends! They were always so quick and responsive and really cared about US as human beings outside of all the necessary processes they needed to go through as our official wedding documentarians. :) K+B also really battled unforeseen circumstances (pre-pandemic scares, FLASH FLOODS, etc.) on our wedding day. Due to flash floods our wedding started almost two hours later, but they were amazing at capturing everything despite the insanity caused by the weather. When I first started planning my wedding, I listed out my priority list of what was important to me. To me, photography was one my top categories on my priority list. And yes, it was even higher than my wedding dress! I love taking pictures myself and photography was one thing that I really didn't want to compromise. I started looking through instagram for wedding photographers in Hawaii and thats how I found Keani's page. The tone of colors of her photography caught my eyes and I contacted her immediately. I contacted few photographers but she was the only one that asked us to meet in person, rather than just sending us a quote like most of the other photographers did. Keani and Brad met up with us at a cafe and they were so friendly and easy to work with but professional at the same time and we knew we wanted work with them right off the bat. Although we wanted to tell them that right away, they were the first photographer we met so we decided to talk with few others just in case. We talked to few other photographers and there was nothing wrong with them but I just felt like I could be my natural self infront of Keani & Brad and it made me want to work with them even more. So we did, and it was one of the best decisions we made! They took both of our engagement & wedding photography and OMG I LOVEEE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT! Every photo she takes, there is a story. I still get tears in my eyes when I look at the photos. And one thing that blew my mind was how quick our wedding photos came. By the next day of the wedding she sent us preview of the photos and I was so surprised she did that.
