2018 Update--- It looks like a recent customer had a similar experience as I did, so I changed my rating from a 2 to a 1 because they don't seem to have improved. I also spoke with a few others who had work done in the past 3 years and it's disappointing. --- I recently brought my 2014 Civic here for repairs after my parked car was hit. I really don't like to post a negative review of a small business, but my experience was such that I feel compelled to say something. At the very least maybe management will see and make some improvements going forward. When I picked up my car I found the front tire had what looked like paint from the job, and the spacing between my front bumper and the body of the car was the same as when I brought it in, that is to say, it was still separated (1/4 inch) from the accident damage. I was notified at closing before the weekend that my car was completed. Unfortunately I couldn't pick it up for another 4 days because of Labor Day weekend. And I couldn't pick it up after they closed because my car was still on the lift, which seemed odd to me. 4 days later I picked it up and it looked only partially completed. So arrangements had to be made to bring it back, and at that point there was no apology or strong desire to make things right. If anything my complaint seemed to inconvenience the person I spoke with over the phone. Two days later I picked it up and I will give credit that there was some sense of an acknowledgment that it wasn't done right the first time. Nevertheless, it still wasn't fixed 100% as I was told the bumper would need to be replaced to get it to 100%. I was also told that it was unlikely insurance would pay for an OEM bumper, though when I talked to my insurance company they said an OEM part would be approved as long as the appraiser decided it was necessary. What should have happened is the appraiser should have been called when it was discovered that the bumper wasn't able to be secured properly. At this point I am choosing to live with the gap because my alternative is to start the whole process over with Kearns. I can't take it somewhere else because insurance only pays for a job once. But I think the goal should not have been to mostly fix the car, or the get it to a point where the customer can learn to live with it. The goal should be to fix it 100%, especially where the car is only a few years old. I'm disappointed with the experience and the result. 2 stars for the fact that the side view mirror and the body paint were done right, minus the overspray on the tires that I still haven't been able to completely clean off. But I wish I took my car somewhere else and felt like customer satisfaction and quality work was a higher priority. I would have driven much farther to get those things. read more

I ended up getting a tire wall bubble and stopped here for repair. The owner was extremely helpful in taking a look at the problem and finding me a good deal on two new tires. He worked with my schedule to get my car repaired asap since I have a far commute to and from work. Very helpful and priced fairly. It's nice that you're able to drop off the night before for repair the next morning. read more

I am so pleased with this place! I got into an accident over the winter (spun out during one of the blizzards, crossed three lanes of traffic on the pike, and slammed into the guardrail) The damage wasn't as bad as it could have been because the snow from previous blizzards had buried the guardrail, so i went through all of that first. When they towed me out I was surprised to see that there wasn't too much visible damage, and it seemed to drive ok. cut to a month or so ago... my dad was replacing the headlight and had to take the front panel off to get to it. as soon as we took the panel off the whole thing fell apart! There was damage to the frame, condensor, radiator... and the headlight assembly was in pieces. I had never needed to use a body shop before.... my dad is a mechanic and takes care of basic stuff, though he getting older now , is semi retired, and is much less ambitious ;) I was very nervous about going to someone because you never know who you can trust. This place was GREAT! They walked me through everything and were very up front about cost and how long it would take. I called a couple times to check on the status (because I was coordinating a rental car) and they were very nice and never made me feel like I was pestering them. I went to pick up the car today and it looks fantastic, and it was even vaccumed! They were very nice when I was settling up my bill and answered all my questions about what was done. I reached out to the owner Tom a few months after they had done some work on my car. The rear bumper starting separating so I reached out as soon as I noticed it. It went in the shop the following day. Tom informed the after market clips that they used were not holding, so they needed to replace them. When I arrived later in the day to pick up my car, he asked me what I thought of the work. I really didn't notice much difference at all, and I told him that. He wasn't happy with my response and responded to me in a stern voice. "I think it looks much better than it was, and sorry if your not happy with it. I went back and forth with the f*in insurance and not even sure I'm going to be paid for this." Well - first of all - if it were done correctly in the first place, this wouldn't even be up for discussion. Second of all - who actually talks to a customer that way!? I was appalled. I reached out to my insurance and provided them with photos of before and "after." My car looked the same as it did when I brought it to him. My insurance company agreed, however they still sent him a payment for the updated "repairs" he says they did. I couldn't take it somewhere else because insurance only pays for a job once. I will NEVER return to this place or recommend anyone to this shop. read more

This place simply did not have experience with my brand vehicle (Audi). It wasn't for a lack of trying, however they took a complete summer to "fix" my vehicle (rear ended someone at stoplight). It also took 3 or 4 insurance adjustments and multiple trips back after it was supposedly complete. My car still isn't the same. After replacing part of the A/C, it now needs to be refilled on a regular basis to stay cold. The headlights were also never adjusted properly so they angle too far down and it's hard to see at night. This is all after $7,500 worth of insurance payments. I would definitely go elsewhere if you have a higher end vehicle... read more
