Here's what we tried: * Vegetarian Combo: 5/5 stars- Ezme, hummus, falafel, and eggplant dip all on one plate. A perfect starter and a great way to taste a little bit of everything. *Mix Grill: 5/5 stars- chicken kebab, beef kebab, Adana kebab, chicken kofte, beef kofte and doner kebab. This was a hit at the table- every single piece was flavorful, juicy, and absolutely delicious. *Turkish Iskender: 2/5 stars- this one wasn't for me. This dish is made with a bread base topped with tomato base and shredded lamb and beef. The flavor was unique, but the texture just didn't work for me. I don't think I would order it again as it felt very soggy. *Ali Nazik: 3/5 stars- smoked grilled meat over a bed of creamy garlic, yogurt and eggplant. The meat was wonderful, but the yogurt and eggplant mix felt a little off chunky and bland like cottage cheese and needed a stronger punch of flavor. *Manti: 5/5 stars- tortellini stuffed with ground beef served in a creamy yogurt with chilly oil. unlike other places where the dumplings are huge and heavy these were small bite size and perfectly balance easily one of my favorites of the night. No samosa (fairly rare these days) but vegetarian options included samosa chat, pakora, a curried chickpea dish, one Indo-Chinese dish (noodles), rice, and your choice of naan or puri, with 5 different sauces, a chickpea pickle, gulab jamun or halva for dessert, plus water and chai tea. (Soft drinks and mango lassi are extra; $2 for lassi is a deal.) Can't comment on the meat, but they had butter chicken and one or two other things. Bread is not well-suited to buffets (puri is best warm; naan tends to get tough on a steam table) but everything was tasty and while one more curried vegetable dish would have been nice, I didn't feel deprived. Service was fairly minimal (it's a buffet) but pleasant: we were asked if we needed help or drinks. The inside is minimal but clean with some updates since the new owners took over: different art / light fixtures; chairs and tables instead of booths. It wasn't crowded. I might do the buffet again and will probably come for dinner some time when I want saffron rice and more dinner options (but not potatoes or cauliflower, which don't appear to feature on the menu).

The lady told us she would check, but never got back to us. The plov was pretty good, but the rice was al dente. As with other places, the meat was sparse, so we had a lot of rice left over. The meat was tender and tasty, however. The manti was excellent, and I love that you can order it per piece instead of being forced to order four pieces like other places. I'm not a fan of organ meat, but got the liver kabob for health benefits; it was cooked well and definitely tolerable, so no complaints. They also served complimentary bread and vegetables (tomatoes and cucumbers), which was nice. Pricing was reasonable for the manti and liver kabob, but the plov was a little more expensive than other Uzbek restaurants, and they charged $5 for a can of soda, which seems high. I'd say 3.5 stars overall. Definitely not my favorite Uzbek restaurant from all the choices we have.
