Kebab house has been on my list for a while, and I'm so glad I finally got to try it with my cousins yesterday. Tucked away in a small shopping center, it's a cozy little spot with beautiful Moroccan lights that add to the atmosphere. The staff was patient, kind and friendly, which made the experience even better. We ordered family style so we could sample a bit of everything. Here's what we tried: * Vegetarian Combo: 5/5 stars- Ezme, hummus, falafel, and eggplant dip all on one plate. A perfect starter and a great way to taste a little bit of everything. *Mix Grill: 5/5 stars- chicken kebab, beef kebab, Adana kebab, chicken kofte, beef kofte and doner kebab. This was a hit at the table- every single piece was flavorful, juicy, and absolutely delicious. *Turkish Iskender: 2/5 stars- this one wasn't for me. This dish is made with a bread base topped with tomato base and shredded lamb and beef. The flavor was unique, but the texture just didn't work for me. I don't think I would order it again as it felt very soggy. *Ali Nazik: 3/5 stars- smoked grilled meat over a bed of creamy garlic, yogurt and eggplant. The meat was wonderful, but the yogurt and eggplant mix felt a little off chunky and bland like cottage cheese and needed a stronger punch of flavor. *Manti: 5/5 stars- tortellini stuffed with ground beef served in a creamy yogurt with chilly oil. unlike other places where the dumplings are huge and heavy these were small bite size and perfectly balance easily one of my favorites of the night. Overall, I definitely come back. The menu is extensive and there are still so many dishes I want to try. I can't wait for my next visit. read more

Was looking for a perfect spot to get some turkish food for Iftar and this was lovely. It's a small, warm, homey vibes restaurant. It was packed and the server was definitely overloaded with work but she was amazing. We ordered adana kebab, mixed meat platter, with a lamb pide and ayran and it was all hot and fresh, well seasoned. Husband said this was ht best seasoned chicken hes had in america so far. Came here recently with my husband and sister-in-law per her suggestion, and it was absolutely delightful. I will 100% be back here! When walking in, the place is pretty small; however, the decor is cute and there are some tables outside which make the restaurant seem a bit larger because the outside doors were kept open so the waitress could easily move in and out. There are hanging string lights on the ceiling, creating to a calm atmosphere, and the walls have cute arches and paintings. At the far end of the dining room, there is a register and counter where customers can pick up their take-out orders, and behind the counter is the kitchen. As we walked in, we were told to sit anywhere. Most tables were admittedly dirty with a ton of food and crumbs all over, but admittedly, only one woman was waitressing all night, and she was also the one handling tables, cleaning, and take-out orders. She was a great waitress and was attentive to our table even though she was alone. My sister-in-law comes here often, and she believes the woman we had is an owner along with her husband who is a cook in the kitchen. I'm unsure if anyone else works with them, but she said she sees them both every time she stops here. We ordered the regular order of hummus ($8.99) and it came with delicious bread. We also asked for some cut veggies on the side, and she happily did so and gave us fresh-cut cucumbers and carrots. The hummus was delicious and homemade. It was so creamy and delicious. For my meal, I ordered a chicken kebab plate with 1 skewer ($14.99). Let me tell you, this was the BEST CHICKEN I have ever had. It was charred and fresh off the grill. I have never had such moist chicken that was perfectly cooked and seasoned. It was wonderful. The plate also came with a side of delicious rice and a fresh house salad. Both my husband and sister-in-law loved their food, as well. Since my sister-in-law has been here before, she ordered the chicken kebab pita sandwich ($9.99) she normally ordered. My husband ordered the same thing as me, but he got two skewers instead of one ($19.99). If you aren't a fan of chicken, or you don't want a plate or a pita, they have tons of other options to choose from. I truly believe anyone can find something they'd enjoy on the menu. They also offer beef kebabs, plates of pasta, fish plates, salads, soups, and more. Overall, this place is amazing and the owners are doing a wonderful job with their menu and cooking. On the other hand, I think they would benefit from having a busboy cleaning the tables. I will definitely be back here again, and I can't wait to try the other menu options! read more

Our family celebrated a birthday, and we asked for a table for 14 people and they happily obliged. Everything was set up when we arrived, and the reservations were easy to make through Google. We ordered a lot, and everything came out fast. We actually had to tell our server to slow down so we can get a chance to enjoy each course. We ordered the vegetarian combination, it was delicious and great for three people to share. We also ordered the lentil soup, which was so flavorful and satisfying. I would come back just for this soup. We ordered the arugula salad, and the picky kids in our party devoured it too. Our main entrees came with the house signature salad, and it was so fresh. For our entrees, we ordered beyti kebab and two family-sized portions of the mixed grill. The family size that serves 6 was not advertised on the menu, and our server told us about it. We ordered one family size and two of the mixed grills that were on the menu. It was more than enough for our party of 14 people. Our server came out with a complimentary dessert for our birthday boy too. I would love to come back here for lunch. The place is not huge and it's in a busy plaza. However, if you want to go to an HFSAA certified restaurant which gives serious Turkish vibes, this place is it! We can't wait to visit again. read more

The food is fine. I thought the spinach pies were a little soggy. The beef kebab... had a kind of lamb aftertaste that we weren't expecting. I have stopped here a few times. Today I had the mantis and lahmacun. Got take out, as it's snowing hard and I didn't want to risk worse weather. Both were delicious. The lahmacun would make a substantial snack/light meal on its own. The mantis were very flavorful in their yogurt sauce. This far everything I've had here has been tasty. We visited Kebab House for the first time in a few years. We ordered a chicken kabob skewer and the adana iskender kabob. The chicken was pretty good, and it came with rice and yogurt sauce. The cabbage garnish was delicious. The iskender dish was excellent. I appreciate that the yogurt was served in a separate container rather than on top of the meat. Cleanliness and welcoming service are two things which stand out to me every time I step into Kebab House. Those things impress me. Add to it, wonderful tastes, and it makes a great spot for food as well. Don't let the outside appearance being in a small strip mall deceive. Stepping in is a wonderful dining experience itself. We've been here at least a half dozen times or more. Normally, the food and serving sizes are pretty good. However, like many places these days, the prices have gone up and the serving sizes down. Also, the food just wasn't the same quality we usually get. It was either overcooked, or precooked and reheated, not sure which, but the meat was dry. We'll probably use them again when we're in the mood for Mediterranean food, just because they may have been having a bad day and we normally have a good experience here. But when we do go back, if it's the same quality, or lack of, as it was this time, that will probably be our last time here. read more

As Middle Eastern restaurants go, Kebab House hardly meets the threshold. The best thing we had was their Grilled Chicken otherwise not much of anything else. Service was above average but slow. The Ambience was a step over Dunkin Donuts at best. All in all, I will not recommend this place especially if you are used to Reza's and Noono Kebab cusine. read more

It's a little bit of a hole-in-the-wall, but the staff are super friendly, the service is good and the food is excellent, especially for a reasonable price. I try to eat a diet of mostly fruits/veggies with some meat and some fish, and middle eastern restaurants are great for when I travel. The vegetarian samplers are normally filling enough to be a full meal, and when the restaurant has good bread, they can be a real delight. This restaurant, other than being a bit slow, did not disappoint. The food was delicious, portions were generous, they accommodated my off-menu request, they take Amex, and the entire front wall was open, making it feel like outdoor dining. Their food used to be good until about a year ago. We ordered from Grubhub yesterday and were very disappointed. The Beef Iskender is supposed to have strips/shavings. This little restaurant is great and I wish I discovered it sooner. There are very few Turkish restaurants in the area and Kebab House didn't disappoint. We ordered the little family feast for four people. There was more than enough food for everyone. Kebabs are flavorful and tender as kababs should be. And unlike other restaurants, they don't give your a lot of rice with only a little meat. We got plentiful protein. I also love the Turkish bread and hummus that came with the feast. Where to start, i do not have other references to compare turkish food to compare to , i was watching milk street episode on turkish pizza called Lahmacun and i had to get one.Super thin and crispy and topped with some kind of ground lamb, raw onion and parsley comes on the side. I was not disappointed. I would recommend at least 1 Lahmacun per person for a meal, i ordered the Baba Ghanoush and something called Ezme which is a purée of tomatoes and something else i'm not really sure of, both being tasty but what i liked was the complimentary bread and some kind of garlicky carrot spread.
