My wife and I were doing some last minute shopping at the Valencia mall just before closing and we were starving , we walked around the food court for 15 minutes and nothing looked good so we decided to give Kebab House a try and it was absolutely delicious , the gentleman who took our order was super nice and asked us what sides we wanted with our gyro dish and he basically filled the box with everything he had available including a delicious piece of warm pita and an amazing cucumber salad . I had this place out of being in the mall with my in-laws and needing a place to eat that had the lowest calories. LET ME PREFACE THIS WITH, I'm middle eastern. I've grown UP eating this sort of food and am INCREDIBLY picky when it comes to my cultures food. So, upon seeing that their falafel wrap had the lowest calories of anything I was craving, I gave in. I was unsure. We all got our food and drove to a park to eat. The second I took my first bite, I WAS IN LOVE. I've now been back once a week for the past month, and even got my husband to eat it too. He got the chicken kebab plate. They put so much food, he was full (+ he's never full)! We LOVE this place! They grill the meat right in front of you, and it's SO authentic! It feels as close to a small bite of home as I'm going to get in Santa Clarita. AND, they're a small business! So it makes me want them more than I would any other Middler Eastern food chain around. I wish they had enough tabbouleh though because I want to try theirs but every time I go, they're out. HOWEVER, the fact that I'm disappointed that they're out is a GOOD THING! It means I want it! Wanted to like it but the food was sad. Chicken shawarma was not shawarma but a piece of chicken chopped up on the grill. The gyro wasnt cooked on the broiler but cut and cooked on the flat top. For mall food court choices, I rather enjoyed my meal here for lunch today at the Westfield Valencia Town Center. My first choice of Hawaiian at Island Pacific Grill found them closed and out of business(shows just how long it's been since I last visited this mall). My next choice of Sharky's found them extremely crowded with a very long line. And possibly giving Sarku Japan one more try; after all they seemed to be attracting a good number of people and I was getting desperate in my search for food by now. And hey, there's a guy handing out free samples. But nope, apparently not intended for me, because just as I stepped up to try one this guy lifted the toothpick impaled morsel that should have been given to me, then purposely sidestepped right past me as I stood no more than a foot directly in front of him, reaching for it as everyone else had been doing. After totally ignoring me, he then started following a lady maybe four feet behind me as she swiftly passed by unconcerned, to practically force the sample into her hand instead of mine. I kid you not! Somewhat embarrassing but I kept my cool and then walked on. That was Sarku's last chance to possibly redeem the terrible experience and Yelp review they received from me several years ago. Moving on, I circled the court once more and landed finally at Kebab House. My order was the Chicken and Beef Kebabs plate which also included rice, tomato, salad, jalapeño, pickled turnips, and pita bread for $9.99. But strangely, hummus is an extra $2.99. I also ordered a bottle of A&W Root Beer. And for a total of over $16 a bit pricey. Plan to wait a good 15-20 minutes for your food even though I was told about 10. You're given a little pager then a search for a table. After all was ready, I have no complaint with the portion size as did several other Yelp reviewers, though they're a bit stingy with the pita bread. Not too many wraps with little bread to go around, but most items stand pretty well on their own. The proteins were tender for the most part, with the exception of one piece of beef that was a bit dry. But I found everything else to be very fresh and tasty; from the rice and salad down to the tomato and pickled turnips. Beware of their jalapeños though, about as fiery as any I've ever eaten. Too fiery for me. The fresh side of tomato sauce(free) was exceptional but I can't quite praise their hummus as much. Average even, but I've had much worse. They really need to rethink the extra fee for hummus, but they do give you more than you will actually need. And yes, although I came hungry I left there filled for hours after. read more

I was close to the food court So I went looking for some supper I noticed the kebab House had a special on a chicken and rice plate with salad So I ordered that I was told it'll be five minutes I didn't know what to think. Is it good that it's going to be ready fast??? Or It is pre-cooked and just needs to be warmed up?? Everything was over or under seasoned-- the meat was a bit salty, the salty was drenched in some salty vinaigrette to the point that I stopped after two bites (and I absolutely adore salads too, pity...), and the rice had no seasoning at all. Or perhaps the rice was seasoned but I couldn't tell after my tongue was ruined from the meat and salad. Flavorful Lule Kabobs. Nicely seasoned. I think it's the best item on their menu. They're is skewered in such a way that the outside is nice and toasted and crisp while the inside stayed nice and juicy. I don't see this as a down side, but the food does take a bit long to cook, especially that lovely tomatoes that come as a side on the plate. The recipe is not quite like Massis Kabob found at other Westfield Malls, but they are a great alternative to the usual suspects at this particular Westfield Mall, like Panda Express, Burger King, and Stone Oven with the crazy long lines. At Kebab House there's the convenience of being able to walk up and order straight away. Low key friendly service in a busy mall food court. Maybe it's the area, but I feel this place is under priced and under appreciated. I noticed the "complaints" if any are from people who only speak of "over pricing" and find their consistency is in primarily writing negative reviews. Narcissistic individuals are just unappeasable. On a real note...high mall rent, rising cost of goods, and higher labor costs don't justify *made to order* meals for anything less than $13-15 anywhere you go especially in California. If you know what it takes operate a business, you would agree that this place is underpriced. To provide full portioned meals having the ability to deliver a whole days worth of nutritional value in one meal is a blessing..... not to mention how many sides you can choose from to fulfill what you're taste buds demand. When I purchase a plate it usually is enough for me to enough left overs. I've ordered ultimately the same from other restaurants paying upwards of $30 for my meal and even then my dogs wouldn't eat it. This place, is a gem. There's a genuine feel behind the food and employees as it's being made by people whom are of the same-ish origin of the cuisine. Maybe some people expect a meal tossed up from a Michelin star chef, so in that case I'd say in comparison it would be a diamond in the rough? The people who work here are genuinely hardworking individuals whom if/when shown a little respect and kindness have proven to go above and beyond. Either way, they're super sweet. Finally decided to try Kebab House after seeing it at the mall. Being a big fan of chicken kebabs, I had high expectations. But honestly, I was really impressed with my meal! I ordered the chicken kebab plate that came with rice, pita bread, salad, a jalapeño, and a tomato. The meal was extremely filling and everything tasted so fresh! The chicken was seasoned and cooked perfectly, rice was warm & fresh, and the salad and dressing were really yummy! The tomato and jalapeño were also grilled fresh!At $8.99 a plate, you can't really go wrong, and Kebab House certainly did not disappoint. Side condiments of garlic sauce and hot sauce are complimentary and they were delicious! The cashier even added a scoop of tabbouleh to my plate which was also super fresh and delicious! Yes, the wait is a bit longer than your average mall food court stand, but when everything is prepared fresh, it is totally worth it. For a food court stand at the mall, the food was more sit down restaurant quality and I am not complaining about that at all! It's really refreshing to know that there is a healthier option at the mall that won't make you feel gross after eating it. We use to eat at this place regularly before the quarantine. Today we ordered 2 plates we were not happy about. The sides of rice, tomato and jalapeños were cold and the eggplants were impossible to eat, extremely bitter. Amazing Kebab place! Had the chicken, beef and lule kebab with a side of Tabbouleh salad and everything was delicious! Definitely a must try! Mediterranean food is always tricky but this was a hit!
