This place is delicious! We got the 3 skewer combo (2 beef 1 chicken), for sides we got the Mediterranean salad and hummus. Came up to $38. Everything was so yummy! The salad had the perfect amount of zest. Beef was beautifully cooked and seasoned - very juicy. I think this place has great quality for the price you pay for their food, they give you a lot of food. Especially if you get the combo which comes with two sides and a drink. It's not the best Mediterranean food I've had but it was definitely tasty for the price. We got the lamb and beef shawarma plate, which I would say is a 8/10. Really good flavor for the meat. Service wise we got take out they were pretty nice, we dropped our drink and they replaced it right away for free which we appreciated. I didn't get to see the inside but may check it out next time. I always come to this place whenever I crave Kebab because everything tastes really good. Every time I order from here, the taste is consistent, and the portions are good. I usually have a plate in 2 sittings. My order is typically combo number 2, which includes two proteins and I like to get lamb and beef. For my 2 sides, I get cucumber yogurt and fries, but I order extra humus on the side since it comes in a larger to-go container. As a first-timer, looking at the menu for the first time can be a little overwhelming. That's how it was for me, so I sought help from the cashier to walk me through the menu. I was driving down Soledad Canyon Road and almost passed this beat up poorly western styled shopping center. If I hadn't looked twice while driving around I would have guessed the shopping center only sold boots, saddles, cowboy hats and horse gear. Is get that the town is called Canyon Country but it's 2020. The whole town including the shopping center needs a face lift like old gramma Betsy. None the less, tucked away in the bad attempt to recreate the old west was this cool little Kebab Grill. Something that for sure would thrive in the LA or Hollywood area or a more modern shopping mall. There food is very good! Lots of fresh and tasty choices. We ordered up the gyros and kebabs. This the second time I have ordered Beef Shish Kabobs and they sent wraps. They refused to correct it and said I must of ordered from the wraps. But when I checked their menu, I ordered the Kabobs and there is no mention of wrap. The Beef was very tough with little flavor. I was so impressed at how appetizing the food and smell was upon opening the styrofoam box. During these covid times, we couldn't wait to get home and eat, so we ate in the car. Everything was so neatly packed, a lil baggy with disposable cutlery, napkins, ketchup and the best for last... the savory tzatzinki sauce. The sauce was perfect to slater on the gyro and dipping sauce on fries, it added such a cool and refreshing taste of Greek yogurt, cucumber and garlic. It's a guilt free dressing you can use vastly! I have tried falafel on several different occasions and at several restaurants. I have never been impressed until I tried falafel here. They were by far without equal. Moist, fresh, and bursting with authentic Mediterranean flavor. I also bought their baba ganoush in case the falafel was dry. It too was excellent and not necessary to impart moisture at all. I was so pleased with the quality and service I went back the following week with a friend and tried the chicken shawarma. This was also the best I have ever tasted. The young lady who took my order was very pleasant and not only greeted me, but smiled when I left and asked me if everything was satisfactory. I noticed that the gentleman cook was different from the first visit and I wondered if I would enjoy it as much as the lady who cooked me such a wonderful meal the first time. Indeed, I was just as impressed and happy as before. I just had to leave a glowing review as this establishment deserves nothing less. I encourage anyone who has had a different experience to try them again. In addition, any one who picks up a takeout order should always check their order before leaving and driving 30 miles. That is just foolish on their part and should not take their folly out on others. Use your common sense. What waiter or waitress has not forgotten to bring an item to the table? Haven't you reminded them and did they not bring you what was forgotten? Did you stiff them on their tip or report them to the manager. I doubt it, but leaving a negative review is (in essence) the same thing. Use common sense next time and check the contents of your bag. Sheesh! read more
