    Indonesian "Lapis Legit" Layer Cake
    Tony C.

I am so glad to find a fellow Indonesian selling some Indonesian food in Las Vegas. I ordered one Indonesian thousand-layer cake for New Year Eve party and it was a big hit! It tastes as good as the cake I used to eat in Indonesia. Can't wait to order the other Indonesian specialities that they make next time! Love it!!

The real star of the show is Tiger, the owner and teppanyaki chef. His skills on the grill are next level -- entertaining, precise, and full of energy. You're not just getting a meal, you're getting an experience. Watching him work the teppan while interacting with guests makes the night fun for everyone at the table. The food was absolutely on point. The scallops were perfectly cooked and buttery, the shrimp had great flavor, and the steak was tender and juicy. The fried rice tied everything together and was easily one of the best parts of the meal -- flavorful and cooked just right. Great food, great service, and an authentic family atmosphere. If you're looking for quality teppanyaki with personality and heart, Musashi -- and Tiger -- deliver every time. Highly recommend.

The food itself tasted ok, but the customer service and experience went downhill quickly. The chef decided to share our shrimp and steak with the neighboring table. It felt unfair and awkward to say the least. We did not think our food order is communal...since our bill sure wasn't. I can't help but wonder if assumptions were being made--whether about our preferences or something else--but regardless, it wasn't appropriate. To make matters worse, we were only asked and given only one ice cream instead of two since it was supposed to come with each combo order. Maybe they assumed adults don't care for dessert? I'm not sure, but it added to the feeling of being overlooked. The food was fine, but the unnecessary drama and poor service ruined the experience. I wouldn't recommend this place. It felt like they care more about putting on a show for certain guests than treating all customers equally.

Turns out he lived in Idaho, and a few of us had lived there too, so immediately we were all talking about potato's together The guy had a ton of tricks up his sleeve. Fire, knives, little jokes, the whole deal a SpongeBob rice cake. He was really good at his job and actually funny, which is rare because most restaurant jokes are usually like, "Here comes the onion volcano," and then everyone has to pretend they've never seen fire before. They also let us eat a cake that my friends brought for my womb eviction day that was brought from home, which was way cool! We were STUFFED from all the good eats! Server was great too. Super nice. Also way cute, which doesn't hurt the overall dining experience. Filet mignon was money!! service was good good. chef was a beast. Solid spot. Would definitely go back to celebrate big 'Tings

We were very pleased and happy my daughter found this restaurant on Yelp while we were in Vegas!…read more The reviews did not disappoint us or let us down! There was some major construction in the neighborhood, so it took us in circles but we finally arrived! The restaurant is quaint and located in a strip mall. Parking was crazy, and we had quite a few panhandlers walk up to us as we waited outside for our table. The restaurant is smaller but extremely crowded. Many patrons were dining there, and we can understand why. We ordered a variety of dishes, appetizers and desserts. Each one was fresh and had great flavoring! We did not order the AYCE. We ordered several rolls and they were 5/5. The rice was fresh and so was the fish. There were not any aftertaste or seaside smells at all. They didn't overcompensate by drowning the rules in sauces. You can actually taste everything which was very refreshing. The muscles were cooked properly. They were not overcooked or undercooked. They were not too watery like most places. They actually used real missago. The only thing that I would suggest is to maybe spend a little bit more time cleaning the shells. We ordered several appetizers such as the taoyaki, tempura, edamame and a few others. I love the way the temper was nice and crispy on the outside and the shrimp was still tender and fully cooked. The edamame was not watered down and had the right amount of salt. The taiyaki actually had chunks of octopus and not just smush seafood and sauce in the middle. The desserts were okay, we asked for green tea but they gave us something different. The tempora fried ice cream was a little too battered. The service was pretty good even though they were extremely busy. They did come and check on us a couple of times and we did have to wave them down a few times. However they were friendly and definitely did respond to us when we asked for additional items. We definitely do not have any complaints about this restaurant. We will definitely be coming back. We highly recommend it.

The service is consistently excellent, and the electronic waitlist is a huge plus during busy times since you can leave and track your place instead of standing around. Most sushi plates are only about $3.50 to $4, making it one of the best values in town. My son and I usually eat here for $40 or less. The ramen bowls are smaller than a traditional ramen shop but surprisingly delicious and the perfect addition to your meal. The appetizers are great too. We haven't tried the teppanyaki side yet, but it always looks busy with happy customers. If there's no wait, you can be in and out faster than many fast food restaurants. Whether it's family dinner or date night, this place never disappoints. We'll be back time and time again!

While they revolving…read moresushi options (and ramen and other dishes), they also offer table side Teppanyaki dining as well. I've had the teppanyaki here and found it to be "just ok", but the sushi is really good, fresh, and a lot of fun. We went on a busy evening and there was a bit of a wait. The check in process was easy and they texted me when our table was ready so I didn't have to stand around. (we did, but I liked having the option to walk away). Service is friendly and solid. They're working hard and, because you have a tablet to order options you don't see coming around on the revolving belt, you service isn't all that attentive but we never wanted for anything. The ambiance is lively and there is a lot coming around that belt at brisk pace. All of the sushi was fresh and cool. The rice was nicely packed and fresh as well. They have standard nigiri and maki (rolls) options and some creative suggestions I haven't found anywhere but here that are really tasty. It's a fun evening out, fairly priced. Recommended.
