Love to support local small businesses. Went here for dinner with a group of 5. Only 2 of us ordered from the teppanayaki (similar to hibach). The chef that prepared the meals, probably the owner, told us that the restaurant was originally poke bowls and converted to teppanyaki a year ago. The grills are very modern and smokeless. I wasn't very hungry so I ordered 2 regular sushi rolls. Note: we had to request the sushi menu probably since we sat at the grill. It's the same menu you can find online. After watching him prepare the teppanyaki I wished I ordered that instead. It looked so good. He gave everyone the fried rice to try while he was making it. So good.

I should have taken a picture before writing the review. But wasn't thinking ahead. Nevertheless, was the food good? No it was amazing, fire, off the hook, great, yummy, delicious, and scrumptious. We ordered the Ribeye & Chicken Tepenyaki, Shrimp Tempura Crunch Roll, Fried Rice, Shrimp, and a few other items. And I can say, without exaggeration, that he food was extremely good. The owner himself prepared our food, and he was personable, friendly, and a pleasure to chat with. I love the atmosphere. After we were seated, they closed the patrician for us, making it feel very private, and exclusive. I love this place, and will be back time and time again. This was an amazing Father's Day late lunch. Yes I recommend, but don't take my word for it. Come and see for yourself.

Delicious and great deal to come here for lunch! The lunch special is only available during the weekday and it's a must try!! Great prices for what you get. We had the privilege of a private table cooked by the owner himself. He was very nice and talked to us while he was cooking. Inside had 4 hibachi tables along with their counter service poke restaurant. Very clean and nicely decorated inside. The staff were all very friendly. I ordered the salmon with garlic noodles and my boyfriend ordered the ribeye with garlic fried rice. Everything was so flavorful and delicious! It came with different kinds of sauces too. Our meals came with a choice of protein, steamed, garlic fried rice or noodles plus vegetables. We've been craving the fresh garlic fried rice you get at hibachi restaurants and it satisfied our craving! Can't wait to come back and try their poke selections too!

We came for dinner early on a Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed both our food and our chef, Jason! We ordered the chicken entree and the 12oz lobster, shrimp, and ribeye trio entree. Both came with the quintessential clear soup which we slurped down waaay faster than we would have liked! We also received some shrimp and seasoned vegetables from the grill, along with a ginger salad, with house made dressing that was delicious. Jason did a fantastic job of pacing our meal, curating sauces based on our tastes, and entertaining without getting in the way of the best part...the eating! The garlic fried rice was the perfect accompaniment to my medium rare steak, lobster, and shrimp. All of our meats were cooked to perfection and the only complaint we had about the dipping sauces was that it was too difficult to choose which one to use! Our waitress also did a great job of refilling our drinks. (I wish they had an unsweetened black iced tea option!) We essentially had a private dining room for our dinner and look forward to trying the sushi and pokè another time! As a sports fan, having a current sporting event like a MLB game on the lone tv in the dining area would have been a plus, my wife may disagree.

Really wanted sushi tonight near our air bnb and found this place. The food took a really long time to arrive. It was fresh and I liked what I ate, but we were the only non hibachi table so it felt slower than I expected for sure. The server asked us if we needed anything else before bringing all our items so I had to ask for the rest of our food.

The things that made this place truly unique was its inclusion of black rice and a salad with a ginger dressing. The service was also super friendly allowing me to try the black rice and ensure they can accommodate my allergy easily. I got the to see bowl which was a great healthier option with the salad on the bottom and I love the fact that you can have add a bunch of toppings both fresh and crunchy too. I would definitely return to try another bowl or even their sushi. My only issue was that I wish the poke fish was a bit colder as a preference.

I haven't been to ToSee Roll in over a year and a half maybe and I see they did a way with the sitting areas to eat your food for the Teppanyaki tables. People call this "Hibachi" but hibachi is grilling food over coals and open flame while teppanyaki is cooking food on flat griddle which is what most "hibachi" places are doing. I've never used the sitting area even though it was so inviting and dim. So having another style of food added to the restaurant is a good thing. The one reason I used to always like coming here is for the price, quality of raw food and the portions they give. I see nothing has changed in that case and the price has also remained the same from the last time I came. The one thing I remembered though is the scoop size of the protein portion seemed a little bigger compared to this time but it's still tasted the same as I remember, so all in all I'll still be back and I'll for sure come try their teppanyaki.

This place is my new favorite poke and bowl place! I got the eel bowl which was incredible, and my husband got a poke bowl. Both of them were SO fresh and flavorful! But what really left an impression is the man who served us who was the owner. He was so passionate about the fresh ingredients, so friendly with suggestions on what we might like. His energy was so contagious! I'm totally rooting for him! Plus, they just installed hibachi tables that look amazing! He said they should be opening up hibachi service within a few weeks, so we will definitely be back to try that! My one critique is that I didn't see any sushi burrito options. They should totally do sushi burritos!

Like many establishments post pandemic, To See Roll has changed. In this case they've added a hibachi section. They still have build your own poke bowls and what not. Quality of poke seems to have decreased slightly. The fish is not as fresh. Portions are not bad. They still allow all sorts of toppings included such as avocado, corn, edamame, masago, seaweed salad ... all free of additional charge. Workers are friendly. Seating is changed to make room for hibachi grills. Overall not bad. Just not as great as before.

Absolutely amazing service. When I walked up, the gentleman helped me decide on a good bowl to order. He had three different types of rice to choose from. I went with the black rice. Everything looked so fresh and clean. I was greeted when I walked in. Although it was the salmon bowl I was able to switch out one of the scoops for tuna. I added the veggies that I wanted that did not come with the bowl and they had drinks and different sushi rolls. I wish I had more time, but I will definitely be coming back. he let me know that they are able to make any sushi roll and modifications or totally fine. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes pokey bowls or sushi. They close at 9:30 which is great! Go check this place out Bowl was 10/10 very clean and nutritious and I feel great after eating it. He also recommended the pickled radishes, which was a nice crunch. They are the yellow pickled radishes in the picture. I ate everything

My favorite poke bowl place in town and has been my go-to spot over the years! The service is friendly and efficient, the food is tasty in good portions, and the ambiance is welcoming of the place. Love the tuna and salmon poke bowls. All the veggies are so fresh and the sauces compliment the flavors. YUM.

I was not disappointed! I have been wanting to come here since I moved to this side of town, 2 years ago, and feeling got to try it out! They added hibachi, 9months ago per the cook. They have smokeless brand new grills. We ordered steak with noodles - lunch special and it was perfect. Good pricing as well, which can be hard to find around town. The service was great, greeted immediately upon entering, and provided with meal options - hibachi or poke. I will definitely be back! Recommend trying this place out!

The oxtail soup was really good: the broth seemed like it has a good amount of shoyu in it (it was dark), and had really nice beef flavor. There were also some shiitake mushrooms, which added to the umami, and fresh cilantro which, paired with the grated ginger, really complemented the savory elements. The oxtails were super tender and plentiful. The meat was well seasoned and fell off the bone. I've eaten a lot of oxtail soup, and this was really good. The limu poke was also solid. The limu was a nice touch: it's not as frequent to see it on the mainland, and I like the smoky flavor it imparts on the poke. The taro turnover was a revelation. It was so good it didn't make it to photos. The pastry crust was flakey, the taro was warm and sweet, and the Carmel drizzle was really nice. It does take 20 minutes to get the turnover, but I think it's worth it.
