I was a bit hesitant to go for my first session since it was my first time getting a massage. My first impression on the place was calm and relaxing. They had the place decorated with these cute live plants and decors all over. I immediately felt so comfortable and welcomed by the place. But oh my heavenly god, Kimberly (massage therapist) was just out of the world. She ain't playing around with those "Magic Hands". Right before the session began, we had a brief consultation where she asked me where my problems areas were and what my daily activities were etc. She paid great attention to the problem areas and checked in throughout the session if the pressure wasn't too much. I don't know exactly how to describe how I felt during the session but I will try my best. She has this white noise playing in the background. She sinks into my sore spots and unknot the pain that I had for months. You feel like a heavy burden of pain had been lifted and you feel lighter. The stress and tension in my muscles were relieved and I left feeling calm, strengthened, and healed right after my first session. I know it sounds a bit exaggerated but I am not kidding around. I went there not being able to turn my neck to the left side and after the session I had no pain and was able to move. Since then I go there once a week and saw a great improvement with each visit. I am so glad a found this cute little gem in this swamp!! I am a bit sad since I left Gainesville because I graduated and wont be going in for this amazink experience again. However, if I get a chance again, I will certainly pay a visit here!! I highly recommend students get a weekly massage as it really helps with the stress and tension you have in the muscles!! As an athlete, I am always asking for harder pressure and to work on problem areas, but most places do not deliver. At Angel Massage, James is very strong! I requested hard pressure and he did a fantastic job. The massage was still relaxing, and the calming music and massage oil scents were particularly inviting. The staff is super kind, and you feel very comfortable when you step through the door. I've tried some of the fancier spas in/outside of Gainesville, but none can massage as well as James at Angel!

I experienced object in his office to have been very mindfully selected, from the Biomat on the massage table, to beautiful statues, exotic stones, and really cool sound healing instruments. It's legitimately the most pleasant massage therapist (or any health professional's office) I have experienced. The wonderful thing is that, this setting is reflective of the therapist/sound healer himself, Alejandro Boullon. Prior to beginning with the actual session, Alejandro invited me to sit wherever I felt and share anything that was coming to mind. I felt very at ease and felt no pressure or rush to express myself. I also felt very safe sharing my experiences with him - he's a good man. The bodywork/sound healing session that followed was otherworldly! Alejandro has somehow formulated a very creative hybrid of bodywork and sound healing into one seamless experience. My low back pain was treated with a combination of bodywork techniques and sound healing (with super cool devices that are somewhat like tuning forks). The sound felt like it was coming from 5 different directions when it was solely Alejandro doing his magic. I believe he also played crystals bowls. Besides some simply beautiful sounds he creates with his instruments, the recorded music actually vibrates from below the table up through ones body, while he simultaneously uses his healing touch from above. Truly a blissful and powerful healing experience! Try it!!! He is professional, kind, and he creates a very safe environment. He caters his massage to your preference, able to be gentle and present, or to take that same presence to his deep and very steady work, which also feels amazing, and is definitely a gift.
