Have always received good reliable advice and recommendations from different staffs on tiles, LVP's and carpet. It has been several years we are still SUPER PLEASED with the amazing Italian tiles we used for our woodstove hearth and the laminate vinyl planks for my kitchen floor. The kitchen floor is slightly sloped in an uneven way the guy who helped us knew his LVPs and he even used the same product and answered all our concerns for the slope issue. Several years later, the LVP is still on perfectly and you couldn't tell there's a slope on the floor. The one he suggested sidestepped the problem and he was right! As for the Italian tiles, we get so many compliments on our wood stove area and we used the tile remnant for some homemade furniture piece for a friend it turned out so gorgeous. They have some really cool designs that most places don't have. They let us really take the time to decide too I never feel pressured here they are so laid back. Prices are very decent here too! This is something we refuse to buy online or at chain hardware stores. We came to learn the product you get here is way more superior and inadvertently, you end up getting good tips and advice since we install ourselves. We haven't been back for awhile and the staff remembered my husband. He could sense we just wanted to browse so we just took our sweet time and the staffs didn't hover over us. When we are good and ready, they were beyond helpful. Today, we were just there for carpet remnants for our stepvan remodel. They have a decent selection and what really prompt me to write the review was how COMPLETELY FLOORED we were when they told us the price. Probably less than what I would of paid online. It's 1/4 of what I had in mind so you get the picture! For the amazing deal, I am thinking why not redo the living room carpet!

They are definitely from the old school of doing things, which is one of the reasons I decided to have Grateful Floors redo our hard woods, because they don't cut corners! They are also about one of the only floor refinishers, in our area, that don't push the water based coatings like every other contractor, and instead prefer to use the original Swedish floor finishing products since they are more durable and outlast anything else on the market today. However, they also will use water based coatings when requested. Swedish floor finishing is more time consuming, labor intensive, and requires a three day process to apply, but the results are absolutely worth it if you don't want to redo your hardwoods every five years or less. Anytime you have your floors refinished it's a major inconvenience, but Dave and Ron were very careful to properly prepare our home for the refinishing process, including masking off areas of the house for dust and informing us of each step of the process as well as what time they would show up for work etc. They were always prompt, and true to their work with a high degree of attention to detail. I would highly recommend Grateful Floors to anyone looking to have their floors refinished both for the finished product as well as their costs which was very reasonable as well.

There carpet installer called us last week to schedule a day and time for him to come over. He told us he would be here at 8am and didn't have the consideration to call us to let us know he was running super late (3 hours late) which I have on my security cameras. So he showed up at 11:10am didn't talk with no one and measured what ever he measured and came up with 560 square feet of carpet. Umm, we only need 440 square feet of carpet installed! My husband owned Signature landscaping of Redmond which has over 300 employees. He does all of there bidding and estimating and also teaches bidding and estimating at Edmonds community college for a few years. So I would believe that we only need 440 square feet of carpet installed. I call Carpet Liquidators today to find out what's going on and the guy that answered my call puts me on hold for a few minutes then comes back on and asks me if I'm still holding. The stupid thing is they had me on hold while they called my husband's phone. WTF!!! We are still waiting for a call back to figure out what's going on with the 560 square feet that there installer measured. The only reason I bought carpet from this location is because we were right next door at Olympic hot tub buying a new hot tub for house #5 that we own.
