Avoid this place like Covid. It's a nightmare to cancel with them, they'll double charge you whether you have a membership with them or not. We canceled my sons and sure enough, they tried to take our money again. We wanted to try and keep my husbands, because after a few great haircuts, Sky told him to his face her regular was getting his appointment spot. He did, too. My husband had to leave because there were no other barbers and she pushed him to the side for "her regular." My husbands appointment was correct and verified in the app, and she still said her regular was going first. Explain that one. It was at this point we canceled our sons membership. We tried to give them another chance with anyone but Sky, and they said they would waive his month's membership fee for him in order to get him to give them another chance. Guess what we were charged for?! Both memberships, his and my sons!! Guess what they haven't gotten since Sky bumped them?! Haircuts at Keep it Cut!! So why are we being charged for a waived and cancelled Membership? Poor customer service, hairstylists that don't care at all, and management that is literally all talk and zero follow through. read more

So my partner and I discovered them in early December. Brooke, the hairstylist that cut my hair on multiple occasions is AWESOME!! The reason for the two stars....we were up sold on the unlimited haircuts, which in "theory" is a great idea. We made two appointments, the first appointment the stylists were running an hour behind. Ok...it happens we tried to exercise patience. Second appointment, today, we arrive maybe 10 minutes early, my stylist says I'm just running one full haircut behind. What's the purpose of an appointment? We try to have compassion and patience, we know things happen. Like most people, our lives run on a schedule. An appointment time is for that time, not an hour later, not an appointment behind. Also, their online APP is horrible to use. So long story short, they give a great haircut, they are just horrible with time management. read more

I was in the neighborhood and took a chance on this place. I've seen it many times and thought it was cute and inviting but never thought of trying it. Well today I decided to get a haircut and booked an appointment with Jessica. She was exceptional. Just walking in she was very warm and said hello. And she advised she would check me in shortly as she was with another customer. After I checked in she said I would be with her. Today I was trying a new hairstyle and asked her if she has done a haircut like this. I had attempted a mullet at home so it was disconnected and needed an expert to fix this mess I had. She was very honest and said she had not. I appreciated that she made some suggestions along the way and helped me figure it out as a team. She was good at conversation and it felt genuine and not forced. Which I appreciate it very much. I don't know if my attempt to DIY my hair first made it harder for her but either way she rocked and made my hair look awesome. When I'm back in the neighborhood I'm definitely going back to her. I have been going to Keep It Cut for a few years now. This location just opened up in the East Valley for those in East Mesa & Apache Junction. If you aren't familiar with what they do in comparison to their competition, let me clue you in. They offer unlimited haircuts for $29, which is the price of one haircut at most other places. I try to get in anywhere between 2-4 times a month to make the membership worth it and to have a fresh cut week to week. Definitely, worth it in my opinion. Anyhow, in regards to this specific location: I got my first haircut here by Nicole a little over a month ago, she did a decent job. However, after that I got my haircut by Renee and haven't looked back since. She happens to be the store manager and really knows what she is doing when it comes to cutting hair, she will get you the look you want and need. A true magician with the clippers and mirror that will have you looking like a new person altogether. read more

Best haircut in the East Valley. The staff are some of the most friendly that you will find. Obviously things are run right here. I have had great interactions with all of the stylist and manager. The location really has a great look and feel. Even with safety protocols being used it feels normal and welcoming. Everything appears to be clean and also well maintained. I appreciated everyone wearing masks and understand that's not easy doing so all day. For those new to the brand like myself I learned that they offer your typical pay per haircut and also a monthly all you want plan. The pricing for that service is more than fair. I typically get my haircut cut every 3 weeks. The price would be more than what I am paying here. And if I need a quick cleanup cut I can get one anytime I want. You can literally get your hair cut as much as you want in the month. I love this idea and can see it spreading. The only item on my wish list would be maybe having a few televisions installed. I understand avoiding the look of other branded franchises but it still would be nice. Keep up the great work!!! read more

Walking in I can tell you neither Renee or Nicole made an impression on the acknowledgement. Which is fine they don't specialize in customer service I guess. When Renee came over to review my online reservation it seemed it was a real struggle for her to figure it all out. I like to live the mantra ladies first so I wanted my daughter to go first. Well that didn't jive with the computer so there seemed to be this moment which was making it all too much. At that point I'm getting hesitant because well my daughter is seven and I'm not about to let someone who seems frustrated cut her hair. And at that exact moment she started to explain $50 is the typical amount to cut long hair......wait what? Hold up, on a 42" tall 7 year old. No thanks. 3/20/21 Saturday 2:20 PM Walked in and was told I had to make an appointment so I booked 2:20PM. There was only one appointment in front of me for some dude named Austin so I sat in the parking lot and waited in my truck. I watched 4 other people walk in, one must have been Austin, but the others were obviously walk-ins. I arrived 5 mins early to my appointment and watched 2 gentlemen get sat before me. I got up and walked out. The first time I was here the woman told me she was busy with appointments when the lobby was empty. I'm not sure what their business plan is here but I can't be the only person experiencing this at this location. What is the point of making an appointment if you're going to take walking in front of reservations? Also why tell me your booked with reservations and can't take walk-ins? Avoid this dumpster fire. Last time I'll even attempt to get a cut there. read more

Terrible place. If you're 5 minutes late they give you a difficult time. If you're early for your appointment they are never on time. The staff is very unmotivated. First off I love the environment it's convenient and easy to where I live. There are a couple ladies there that cut my hair. However I do always try to go to Eva first and she was always friendly and pleasant and provides a great haircut. Scheduled to have my son's and I to have our haircuts before a party tonight. We scheduled a week in advance only to get a call just yesterday stating that our appointments were on top of another appointment so they needed to reschedule us. I was humble about the situation and said okay, what time is going to be the next time? She Said 11:45. I said okay we will try to make this work even though it is cutting into our day plans for going to the Masa market. All my children have memberships here including myself and have been coming here for 2 years now, from the one off of 202 and recker to this location about 6 months ago. When I walked in the door after showing up at 11:47 they tell me that I am considerably late. I told the the appointment was at 11:45 how is this considerably late? She said it's 11:50 I said no it's 11:47. Now that their haircuts are done my son said that she was hurting him jamming the razor into his head and putting gel in his hair when he didn't even ask for it. Extremely rude people and it really irritates me. I hope people see this and don't come to this place. The lady who had the last name Stone was a very nice lady to work with I will be recommending her from now on other than that there's a new lady here and she was a complete witch.
