He explained the procedure prepped my mouth and within 45 minutes that awful molar was gone. Thorough instructions for aftercare and antibiotics to assure no infection. And the price was VERY fair. After excruciating, deeper than normal, gum probing and bleeding I was advised I needed an extensive deep cleaning, cost $910.00. Meaning, I needed 1-2 more appointments and the above offer did not include a general cleaning. So, if you have been a regular "dentist goer" ever 6 months, for 20+ years and you go to this dentist, you may be surprised and scared by their practice. He may be a great dentist, his staff may be personable but the approach to solicit new patients, in my opinion, is misleading and dishonest. Just hoping that other potential "new" patients don't feel, as I did, taken advantage of! BTW, a month later, I took a 3 1/2 hr. drive to get my teeth cleaned from my original dentist with all the information from the above dentist, they re-examined my teeth, went over my history and confirmed that what Curtis recommended was not necessary. They wanted to do consultation. That's what I was there for but they said they needed their own Xrays etc. I told them I had just gotten some. They explained it as being they needed theirs and it was part of the exam. Then I got charged a bill because insurance wouldn't pay. So beware what wording they use. It was not part of exam but a charge which they knew or should have that it would not be covered twice.
