I had my RV roof replaced by RV Repair and Renovation in the spring of 2022. They also repaired a…read moreslide out issue on my camper, and I am very thankful to them for having caught that issue, as I had not noticed what was wrong. Doug and his crew seem very friendly, and given the shortage of technicians that can perform whole roof repairs, I must admit that I was thankful that I found them at all. However, I had, and still have concerns with the job that was done. The repaired slide out makes weird noises, silicone caulking was used on my roof, and I'm concerned that some of it is even separating a bit. The rear backup camera was installed upside down, connected to the wrong circuit, and the antenna was missing. I had asked him about that, but never heard back. There were also nails protruding into the interior of the camper after the job was done, but when I brought that up, they said that they didn't believe it was an issue with their repair. I just got the sense that some details got missed, and I'm spending more of my time than I would have expected doing follow-up fixes.

I left Boji RV a message and the very morning at 9am, they were at our camping spot ready to take on a huge job of our fifth wheel falling on top of our truck. Wedged into the bed of the truck and the legs completely broke off. What I thought was impossible, they got done in 30 minutes and only $64. We were taken to the attic to see the scratch and dent air conditioners he bought at an auction. That is all he had to install in stock. I appreciated the honesty but should have been told on the phone that the price was for scratch and dent no warrant. There was clear damage to all. We picked one out that was the best of the selection then asked about warranty and how old the unit was and he became agitate. He had no idea. We were taken to an office stepping over a multitude of tools and parts the entire way. He handed us a paper for a different unit something I could have printed. I really wanted to give this guy a chance Even tho my gut said run. The process of getting estimates printed was slow. The more questions we asked the more up set the older gentleman got. First estimate was several hundred more then quoted on phone he admitted it was with out us saying. I asked for the air conditioner quote and before he finished he said "I feel like Im just wasting my time here, you already have other quotes. I said yes we had made calls. I asked if he could print an estimate for the air conditioner again. He basically said he was done with us. We got up and left. I don't know what the issue was this is the process of doing business. My gut said these guys are not on the up and up. Place is scetchy, very messy, no clear information on their work or products. Prices are only about 100$ cheaper than other places. There is a reference to being thankful to God on the homemade sign I was hopeful of a positive experience. I prayed while i was there. God clearly made the decision for us as the guy practically threw us out.

Took my truck to Topper's Plus and Trailers LeSueur shop to have a lift kit put in. The lift kit…read moreneeded an new bushing to eliminate a known vibration caused by the lift which I bought and took with for the shop to install with the lift. As soon as I picked up (picked up after the shop was closed), I noticed a vibration, but I still had new tires and rims put on. After driving it and realizing the vibrations aren't going away, I called the Mankato store to have them check to see if the bushing was actually put in. They did tell me that the installer no longer worked for them and that his "work write-up" on my truck was vague. They were great in changing my appointment dates but during the actual appointment, they took it to a different shop to confirm that the lift was installed correctly. (That was their job and they didn't notify me which ending up costing me $). They came back with an answer: it's your tires. The vibration was there before the new tires and rims were put on......It's not the tires. We are now working with someone else to get a fix.......frustrating to say the least. : (
