A few months ago, I signed up for auto-pay to reduce the stress of remembering to make and on-time payment. They took the payment on the 30th of the month, rather than on the 1st as per the agreement, causing my account to be overdrawn since I had not yet made a transfer. I had to go through my bank to stop payment. THIS month, I made a payment online and never received confirmation - through email or by going back into the online system to see pending payments. Thinking I had made an error and didn't finalize the payment, I made the monthly payment. Turns out - that first payment DID in fact post and was delayed on their end. When I contacted the company for a refund of the double payment, they advised me to yet again, call my bank to stop the payment. Disappointed in this company and their lack of customer service to any level. Wouldn't recommend them for anything. read more

The thing is, when you find good people, who you KNOW have your best interest at heart, you don't need to verify anything; you don't need multiple "bids". My morgage went up 500 because of an escrow shortage. The previous year i was given a check because my escrow had too much im a first time homeowner so i didnt know what to do with the check i called them and they said the check was mine to do w.e i wanted with so i saved it a year later they bill me with a payment of xtra 500!! I called n they said escrow had a shortage so i was immediately upset and they said i could have put that money right back into ny escrow acct to avoid this issue! Why was i mot told this a year ago when i called to ask??? 500 xtra is not doable for me so i asked what my options were and i was told if i paid around 3k my payment would be reduced by 300 .... train your agents better! When starting off with this company for a refinance my agent was Ryan McBain and he himself is a amazing person. Although he works for the most unprofessional company I have ever worked with. I have bought and sold a previous home so I'm familiar with mortgage companies. In the very beginning they sent a closing disclosure to us thru docu sign that said we would be getting about $500 back at closing, ok great! But money for us was never the issue we only were looking for a lower interest rate/mortgage payment. But when the notary shows up for us to sign she said we would be getting a little over $2100 back which we signed with all the rest of the closing docs. Then we received a email from a different person days later saying unfortunately they forgot to add the interest in so we would get $800 back instead (which we never signed) two days later I received a closing disclosure from another person stating we would get $2000. Which I promptly called Ryan to find out why? After he did his research I was told that it was the title companies mistake and we would be getting the $2000. When I called the title company they said it was CrossCountry that made the mistake (passing the blame back and forth.) Then another couple days go by we received a check for $800 when I called to question it (also calling my realtor for help) I was told that another closing disclosure was sent out by mail from another person, for $2200 now. but he would check into it and find out how much more would be mailed out. Got a call back today saying "I'm sorry $800 is all you get." Then Sunny calls me to explain why but he seemed to be very condescending the whole time I was talking to him! Even after Ryan tried to tell me sorry for the mix up. Sunny down talked his own employee and told him they have nothing to be sorry for! Sunny also started to down talk my real estate agent and told me she should stick to the real estate side because she obviously doesn't know the back side (which I found VERY unprofessional) and basically stated it wouldn't make no difference if he lost my real estate agents business! but since my agent has been in the industry for over 20 year she obviously knows something. I told him it would have just been nice to be told where the mistake happened in the first place and he passed the blame onto my old lender even though our payoff amount was faxed to them prior to us signing the closing docs. Sunny told me "he was not made aware of any of the mix up until today ( 2 weeks after the closing) but I should be glad they handled my refinance in such a short time considering COVID"(which I also had a hand in since I was prompt on sending everything they requested) That is not how I think a problem should be handled! I would not recommend this company to anyone! read more

We originally heard about Sunny through a mutual friend and decided to call him to have a chat. From the very first conversation Sunny was great! My wife and I were first time home buyers, and like any other first timers we had tonnes of questions. The first time we met with Sunny, he explained what the pre-qualification process entails, step-by-step. Just finished a complicated refinance with Altamont Mortgage. Mike Dannenberg handled the refinance in a professional manner. Before running my credit or making any promises, he looked over my paperwork to give me good "guesstimate" of the likelihood of this loan going through. After reviewing the circumstances that lead to previous hurdles, he felt he could make it happen. During my refinance process, the lock on the loan had to be extended twice. Both extensions were due to circumstances with my current lenders paperwork. I don't know who eats that cost but, it wasn't me. Towards the end of the loan, I shopped my costs around with other companies in order to ensure I was receiving the best deal. I gave them copies of my Good Faith Estimate and each company said they could not beat the fees, or rate. I was referred to Sunny Singh by a real estate agent that was trying to help us figure out how we could buy a home. She said to me "I know a guy, and he's really amazing, can I call him"? I said sure, why not! From the moment I spoke with Sunny he scooped me up and put me under his wing and navigated me through this very complex, convoluted process of obtaining a home loan. This was further complicated given that I am also somewhat complex and convoluted and do not necessarily match what I look like on paper. He saw me as a whole picture and not just what could be personified in a number (credit score). Although my credit is not horrible, it's also not perfect. He advised me on ways to quickly improve my snapshot while still looking for a loan that was right for me in the here and now. With the help of my real estate team we got into escrow within a couple days of looking at houses. The process was complicated by a low appraisal and seller not wanting to sell his house for what it was worth. So, that one fell apart.
