He taught ways of thinking about healing and situations that got to the core. Supportive and non-judgmental. I went in with neck pain that prevented me from doing daily things that I had been struggling with for weeks. Brenden helped immensely within days. His hands on work was gradual and extremely effective. My general feeling went from desperate to excited. I'm so glad I didn't wait!

Dr. Mesnier is supposed to be a good ankle surgeon and I have been trying to get an appointment since March 2025. Despite a physician referrral, good insurance, an increasingly unstable painful ankle I can barely walk on, an MRI with ligament and tendon tears, and filling out all the online paperwork, I have yet to see her. It's August. Her office cancelled my first two new patient appointments with short notice. Christina hasn't requested my records or MRI scan, even though I filled out and signed a request with my new patient paperwork. Yesterday I asked if she'd received my imaging and she said "No, I haven't requested it because it takes a really long time for them to send it, so it's the patient's responsibility." I told her I have to cancel and reschedule a half day of my own cancer patients for these appointments they keep cancelling, and asked if she could make my appt on a day when that won't happen. Her reply: "It's not my fault if patients need surgery". Nice. It doesn't seem like they want my business, so I guess it's not my fault if I go somewhere else. Dr. Mesnier probably doesn't know this is happening, and unfortunately this review is the only way to communicate with her. I will happily update it and the rating if I end up seeing her and having a good experience!

I can't thank Michael enough for helping me recover from my radial elbow fracture and dislocation…read more From day one, he was incredibly kind, attentive, and truly went the extra mile to ensure my healing process was as smooth and effective as possible. He provided me with exercises to do at home, which made a huge difference in my progress. The office is very nice and clean with ample parking and friendly and helpful staff. Thanks to his expertise and support, I'm feeling so much better. If you're looking for a dedicated and compassionate physical therapist, I highly recommend going here!

My wife has been seeing Michael for about a month and this is her first time going to physical therapy. I work with a lot of talented physical therapists, and my good friend and co-founder of Clinicient Jerry Henderson researched clinics in Portland to give my wife the recommendation of Portland Sports Medicine and Spine Physical Therapy. He chose them based on their background in the McKenzie spine techniques of manual therapy that are evidence based and provide results that have not only freed her from pain, but started the restoration of function after only a few visits. We have been elated with the results. From the initial experience of setting an appointment, to the reception by the front office staff, to the handling of our somewhat challenging insurance provider (United Healthcare), to the outcomes my wife has experienced, our experience has been nothing short of AMAZING. She injured her back and shoulder and was practically immobilized from the pain. She went to a chiropractor and massage therapists, and while those offered temporary relief from the pain, they did not address the core issues. Michael took the time to understand my wife's injury and did everything he could to fit her into a VERY busy schedule including making early morning appointments available and using his lunch break to treat her. He spends a full hour in hands on therapy and is focused on her goals and needs. This kind of service is rare in an era of declining reimbursement and insurance hassles. Michael is truly patient focused and skilled at what he does and the results speak to that. If you are having pain and think you have to live with it, think again! Find a therapist like Michael who is a true professional and focused on the needs of the client! This is the best experience ever and you won't regret it!
