I had a 10:45 appointment and was started right away. The assistant who started my hair was very friendly, quick and did her job prepping my hair extremely well. I was comfortable and enjoyed the music they played. Petra, the stylist, went above and beyond with my hair. Not only did she hold conversation with me during the process but even remembered my name. That personal touch definitely added to the experience. I say all that to say, I am very pleased and overjoyed with my new look. The salon, New BBS, almost demolished my hair and even, finding out today, left me with a bald spot. Also, there's a video that shows my call-log with the owner (I had a couple questions prior to visiting) to serve as proof I went to them since they have a habit of claiming that everyone who leaves a 'bad' review were never serviced by them or is an ex-employee. I was a bit concerned because I was wondering if she'd be able to handle my hair in all its thickness and kinky coiliness and she did, with the quickness. I was very surprised by how she was able to wash, condition, roller set, and blow dry my hair so fast. When it was time for the trim, I was confident that she'd finish the job right because she made sure to tell me what my hair was looking like and what needed to be done before proceeding. She even had Jose explain it to me more thoroughly in English. One of the things I appreciated about the salon besides the excellent customer service, the actual great service, and the cost was that the place felt comfortable. I was greeted and I felt welcomed and warm while at the shop. It felt like the old school shops where everyone says hello and is pleasant. She assured me that she had girls in the shop who could handle my texture. She was right. She pointed me in Emmas direction.
