I can only give three stars for this place because of the it's customer service and time management. I book an appointment but still had to wait for 20-25 mins after my appointment time. I asked the lady ( should be the store manager ) how long do I have to wait and it's been a while after my scheduled time, she replied " everyone here made an appointment " That being said ", I understand the summer is a prime time to get your nails done but the response from the manager could be better. Came here on a whim since my normal nail spot is just a bit too pricey for me at the moment, and I'm so glad I did! Lina is the best, she really listened to what I wanted while being honest about any limitations. I believe the service I received cost $95-I did gel builder with tips, asked for medium length almond shape and showed her a reference photo which I've attached here. I'm so so impressed. The video attached was taken over a week later and my nails still look amazing! The salon is small, but that's normal for salons in Queens. I was able to make a last minute appointment on a busy day, I waited just a little bit and just had a great experience. I'll definitely be going back !!! read more

Just OK. Came in to do a French dip with extension $75 and the base has shimmer in it didn't want that but ok. I kept having to ask the technician to file straight and the nail was bumpy so she had to fix that. The French line wasn't straight but not terrible just ok. The owner I assume kept saying it was straight but it clearly wasn't! I had to be ok with whatever they did because they couldn't do any better. Once the nail cured and everything was done I could still feel the edges rough. To be honest I won't return if I need nails done for a special occasion, birthday or with anything that needs simple technique. I would probably return if it's just for a quick simple color. Anyways not impressed and for the price I just can't seem to justify for the work they did on me. 5/10 read more

I got my nails done yesterday afternoon. I did gel builder polish like the tech suggested. Less than 24 hours later 3 nails have chipped off completely. She also waxed my brows and burned my face. $100 total for both(which is way more expensive than advertised) I've come here serveral times before and never had this experience. So maybe I got unlucky. But that's alot of money to waste with 20% I always give. Will not be back. read more

No frills salon. Every gel manicure that I've gotten here doesn't last but it's nearby so I go when I absolutely need to.

Service is pretty well , I never really needed to wait long to get my nails done. The quality is good especially for the gel x I believe. I usually just get gel, one time my toes did mess up after it was supposed to be dry but they fixed it for me the next day since I went back to tell them. I live in Brooklyn but have sisters in the area and now reserve time to come to this salon instead of my local ones. The workers here are the sweetest, dedicated to their craft, meticulous in the work they do & they use quality materials. It's also very sanitary and I always feel safe during my visits. I've damaged my toe nails from a marathon and I have never felt judged every time I've had to do a pedicure here. Speaks volumes to the professional nature of the workers here. I had my nail done Monday 14th / August Gel mani with extensions nail and style which cost me $90 and pedicure regular with cost me $33 Excluding tips! My toe nail color faded and popped in the second day My hand nail with the extensions have chipped few day after and now just literally popped. Now i got so upset with the quality i get. My friend made a reservation for two gel tips manicure with design on the same day, for an evening time. I tried two other salons but they were booked or not open later in the evening. We wanted to have matching nails: solid color tips and clear tips with design. (There are MANY colors in the color gel section). We showed them the design we wanted and asked if they would be able to, and they immediately said "yes no problem!" That took us by surprise -the confidence! Due to many customers, my friend went first and I was politely told I could sit near my friend while I waited for the other technician beside her. Very accommodating - the staff. For wait time: although I was seated 35 minutes later, (we all know salons may sometimes run behind, nbd--) it was worth the wait. *make sure you give yourself enough time when you reserve for nail appointments ~ Anyways, my friend started earlier than me and was finished.However, it didn't take my technician long to catch up; finished in only 10-15 minutes later. LOVE how my nails turned out! Finally found a place with gel designs that don't break the bank. This mani was $60 whereas I've paid $80 in Bayside for something similar. Regular pedi was $25. It is a small and unassuming shop. I would've walked passed it if not for all the good reviews here that convinced me to go. Definitely make an appointment because they were very busy on a Saturday afternoon when I went and walk-ins waited up to an hour. I believe my tech's name is Sunny, she sits at the main desk. She was super careful and detail oriented on everything from cutting my cuticles properly, to the many many gel layers the design required. My regular pedicure was quick but still felt thorough. Hate to leave a negative review following all the positive reviews left for this business. However, I hope my review will be seen and the salon will be more careful with their work in the future. Visited 7/3 Sunday. Called two hours ahead and was able to get an appointment at 2:30pm. When I walked in, the salon was full (I saw it as a good sign) but got started right on time. Salon was clean and well kept, which kept me hopeful. I went in for a simple mani and pedi. I did my usual--white toes and clear nails. I asked my technician to keep both my nails and toenails short and clean and emphasized it through my appointment to get my point across. The shape, the filing, and the paint job was all so terrible. None of my finger/toenails are even in length or shape, and the toenail coating is also uneven. Clumps everywhere! Granted I only got clear coat for my nails, but they started chipping the next day. After tip, I paid $52 in total. I could've mentioned my concerns and ask them to redo the job, but by the time I left they were even busier than when I walked in and seemed a bit back up. I didn't want to keep someone else waiting or have to wait to get it fixed. Btw, the appointment lasted over an hour, and when I called they said it would be around 40 minutes. Not sure if it was an off day for the technician or she's new, but this is not salon quality. I could do a better job at home. I went to a salon and paid a decent amount because I wanted quality results. Really disappointed as this salon is near my house and wanted to visit regularly. Maybe it was my bad luck, but this is not the quality I was expecting when I walked in. read more

I decided to give this nail salon a try for the first time. I sat at the first chair (totally forgot the nail techs name). The nail tech was super nice but my nails took forever because she was constantly picking up the phone and greeting everyone that walked in. She couldn't multi task at all. Good thing i had nothing going on. My nails came out okay. Nothing too great. Omg this is it...I've found my place! Came kinda late but they still took me anyways. Place is small and quaint, clean looking. I showed Nina a picture of some abstract nails I wanted. It was an intricate design, and Nina handled it like a perfectionist. She repeatedly corrected lines she felt were crooked, and put such detail into her work. The result was fabulous. Price was reasonable. I got their "gel x" nails, which look amazing. Overall it was 65 for the nails, 25 for the design and 5 for the matte finish. I WILL be back!!! read more

I would ran away from this place. They hire not professionals. I am a pianist and cannot keep long nails. However in VA I had good experience with French on my short nails manicure. I was flying to trip to Morocco and decided to treat my self while had a day in NYC. I was going for manicure French and simple pedicure package. She convinced me for more extended deal for fancy Pedicure. I had limited time because I wanted to do my hair also before flying from JFK to my trip. Ok. I decided she might provide better service if I agree and do extra. She promised to finish in two hours. She covered nails over and over, re painting white line over. It was very thick layer. She send me to dry for 15 min. I asked after 15 min are you sure it is enough? she assure me yes. It took me 20 min walked to nearby coffee ( I understood there is no time for Hair stylist, spent there three hours instead of two promised. ) to see my ruined French manicure because it was definitely not dry out and Polish easy came out in a few nails. The worse part: when she took off my previous jell manicure, she used machine so deep so ruined one of my nail forever, so besides I had pain all my trip, I lost my actual nail. it is very frustrating for me as I have short nails already. (after a caffee, I returned to ask for manicure refund and to take out all polish). The menager did not want to give the refund. After I started to talk loud so other could hear, I got $12 ( I gave her tip $20). So I went to my trip with no manicure and no hair done. I wanted something special! I had a photo of the design I had in mind but of course I forgot my phone. Nina was very patient, listened to my description and followed my drawing interpretation beautifully! Nina is a perfectionist and paid attention to each stroke and detail. WOW. Just left my first (but definitely not my last) powder manicure that Jenny did, and this is now my new nail spot. They welcomed me immediately when I walked in, were incredibly nice and very clean. The actual manicure was INCREDIBLE, and arguably one of the best ones I've ever had. They helped me choose my base color because I only had a Pinterest post for inspo and they KILLED IT. My nails actually look BETTER than the photo I showed them. This place is nice. No frills salon.. The staff is personable and do a great job. The only thing they need to improve on is being able to keep up with the appointments. I make appointment and they don't seem to be able to take me in at my time. I understand 5 minutes late but not 20- 30 minutes late. What's the point of making an appointment if you can't see me on the time you said you can accommodate me? I make an appointment cause I have other plans after doing my nails.
