Susan(I think that was her name) reassured me she took it into account for the thickness of the white strip. Pedicure: This was done by another tech but I didn't catch her name. She was very thorough and I was equally impressed. My pinky toe nail is extremely small but she was able to paint it neatly. (In past experiences at other nail salons, I usually end up with a half painted nail if it's painted at all.)

However I got a French…read morecolor gel manicure, and my sister got a powder dip manicure with 3 tips (due to her nails being very weak). For one, we had an appointment at 5pm, and they were ON POINT! we were in that pedicure chair and soaking out old gel polish off within minutes of entering. We were welcomed warmly & they knew exactly what services we wanted, as we told them over the phone, but they log it with each appt! That was amazing to us. For me, I have a toe that's always giving problems and my pedicurist was an ANGEL. she spent at least 15 mins working on cleaning and prepping my feet for my gel polish, it was so relaxing & i felt clean and so pampered! the foot massages are to die for, so I'm returning for that!! My sister is EXTREMELY ticklish, and her pedicurist ensured that she was gentle enough as to not get roundhouse kicked by my sister while scrubbing her feet. After all of that and we were gel polished up and ready to go get manicures, we were walked over to a table side by side where we got our manicures. I have to say, my manicurist was FANTASTIC. She worked with my vision of coffin shaped natural nails and did a French gel atop it. absolutely amazing and I love how strong they feel and NOT thick like other places I've gone to. All in all, our nails came out to $167 for my sister and myself. Now the only problem I have is that this was done yesterday at 5pm. It's currently 12:25pm, and I'm seeing the gel lift by my nail bed of two of my fingers on the left hand. I called Julie's and they said to come in at 630pm so that they can fix it for me, so let's see how it goes! EDIT: I went to Julies, and called a bit earlier, and they let me come in at 6pm to take care of my nails. I had Maria, the same tech as the day before and she was kind & sweet enough to take off my top coat, buff my polish and redo the top coat on ALL 10 fingers!!!! I only had this issue with 2 of my nails, but they went above and beyond to make sure i was happy with everything! Thank you again

Turns out, this is one of the cheapest places for a pedicure in the whole area where there are tons of nail spas. I booked an appointment for later that day. Once I arrived, they told me they were ready for me. They told me to pick a color. I felt the color selection was decent, but not as much as most places. Though, I do get the most basic of colors so that wasn't an issue. They started working on my toenails, scrubbed the bottom of my feet, and massaged my legs and feet. It was lovely and comfortable. I definitely found myself relaxed. While I was getting my pedicure done, I did notice that some people were waiting to get their nails done. The nail spa is definitely a bit short-staffed so I do recommend booking an appointment. She meticulously cut my oddly shaped nails and painted them on. I was done within an hour and went to the drying fans. I had a pleasant and wonderful time. This is exactly what a nail salon experience should be.

Im not too particular with my feet, but with my hands it was a disaster. (Although her foot massage was painful more than relaxing, I was not a fan). I had almond nails, she asked if I wanted them cut. They were grown out so I said yes, she cut two down to the skin (my nails were fairly long) assuming I said square before I stopped her. She insisted it was my fault because I said I wanted them cut. I already needed two tips, so that put me to four. The thumb she cut too short making it completely uneven with the other hand which she said she would build up and then never did. Worst part is I had to pay for the extra tips even though it was HER fault and of course going forward I will need to pay for those extra tips until they grow out so she just cost me money. It should of been free and my service should of been discounted given what happened. I didn't have it in me to fight. She made multiple cuticles bleed and she was so aggressive with them they were red and swollen even with those that didn't bleed. The nails were filed in weird shapes, all different, not truly almond and partly square on top. They look so horrible I'll have to fix them myself. Didn't use all the standard layers of powder and only one layer of top coat was used and the lady was passive aggressive. I've done power since before it was popularized and I've never had a service finish that quickly. She was done (with tips) in 45 min. The pedi time was about average: I still gave her the 20 percent tip but I regret it because it was a miserable experience. She absolutely didn't deserve it but having worked in the service industry when I was younger I always feel bad tipping less than that. To owner response: To infer I'm lying is disrespectful. I did not want that length nor did I say I want square. I was asked to trim and show a small trim and then cut short into a square despite shown otherwise and I WAS charged for the mistake. Also just to show that even the thumb wasn't built up as promised I'm adding a picture. Update on 3/18 3 days post service - adding another picture.... My whole nail is lifted.
