Maybe it's a COVID thing, or maybe I was the unlucky guy who fell through the cracks-but I have never had such a hard time doing a simple re-fi as I had with Movement. It was literally months of every couple weeks needing additional information , then radio silence for weeks, no call backs...then, as if nothing had ever happened, picking back up at square one. I had made it clear I didn't want to go out of pocket-appraisal, sure. But instead I'm finding out at SIGNING that there was closing costs- they take it back, re work the numbers , it all works...then another month, believing I'm all done, a call from the title company with a $1,200+ closing cost estimate, literally 6 weeks after, and nobody on the team knew what was happening. Stuff happens, for sure. But when you have consistently let a customer down, not taken any responsibility or explanation, and don't communicate with you customer, you need to do some work for the customer. We all make mistakes, but making them right is what good businesses do, not forcing your customers into something that they expressly didn't want to avoid the extra effort. They came highly recommended, and since the recommender also had a struggle getting her new home loan. I don't know what they are going through, but I would find someone else in the short term until they can better access how to do their jobs. read more

Honestly can not say enough good things about them. They closed our VA (!!) Loan in 20 days - they would have been faster if the seller had not taken 3 days to reply to our request for repairs. We got one of the best interest rates out there ever! From beginning to end the process was super smooth. I input my data in their online portal. They send you informational emails that walk you through next steps and they are super responsive to any calls and emails I sent when I had questions. I often times didn't even have to fill out any forms myself because the had filled it in with the information I have given in the beginning. Even the notary was surprised to find some documents already completed - she said she had never seen that before. Lastly, all staff including Keith seem friendly and extremely service oriented. We're first time home buyers and she helped us get a clear picture of our budget and then got us pre-qualified quickly. The competition for houses is fierce this year and we had to make a lot of high pressure decisions while putting in our offer. Sara gave us good advice on what contingencies we should/shouldn't waive. After we put in our offer, she even reached out to the seller's agent to recommend us and helped persuade him to accept our offer.
