Not sure if they thought my business was not valuable to them but happy to say that another place gladly helped me take care of the issue. Update to owners unprofessional response: Prior to the vehicle beginning the alignment service, it is your job to inform me that I have broken Cam tabs as the issue can be seen prior to preforming the alignment instead of carrying on and preforming a half completed job knowing it was not possible to complete. Even with attempting a job with an issue present, at no point were you told that the service should be FREE but charging $193 for a job that should not have been attempted is absolutely ridiculous Regarding the several weeks for a Cam tab repair, you still failed to provide a quote for this repair as I waited over one week for it so I had no issue with several weeks to repair it as much as you failed to reach back out to quote the job after knowingly charging your customer for a job that should not have began based on the observed condition of the cam tabs This review was neither fraudulent, incorrect or absolutely ridiculous as you said but an honest account of how you took advantage of a customer by attempting a job which was not possible to complete and charging me 77% value of the completed job cost but not even completing half of the job

They are a pretty small garage so of course they don't have the most sophisticated expensive diagnostic equipment, so most of the time when you come in with a problem, Shon would make educated guesses as to what parts need fixed. What I liked about Shon was that if he made a judgement error (like replacing a part that was not actually the root of the problem) he would make it right by offering a refund on the first service, or offering to do additional work for free until it was fixed. I applauded him for that and he gained my trust for about 6 or 7 years. Now that it's Park's auto service, the scenario is still the same: they have to make educated guesses about what is wrong with your car and fix accordingly. Unfortunately, Park does not offer any kind of redemption when he makes a mistake, and tells you "oh that part needed replaced anyway." He doesn't budge on refunds or or no-charge follow-up fixes, even after arguing. This has happened to me several times and I refuse to go here anymore. So that's what you get at Park's: A mechanic that makes a lot of mistakes and does nothing to make them right. I'm done dumping my money into this waste.

Also there might be a short or worse. He stated to take it back to Pep Boys since there is still a warranty on the coils and spark plugs that caused more of a problem. Lynn could of taking advantage but he didn't. He is honest and knows what he is doing. He does not take advantage of people. I will use him again for big and small jobs and will refer him. His son was with him the day they came both were professional, courteous, friendly and on time.
