I took my computer to Keith for diagnostics on Friday,9/27/24. Keith calls me today, Sunday, 9/29/24, to tell me my computer cost $140 and I can pick it up on Monday, 9/30/24 around 10:40 AM. He told me the work was completed. Then, I asked Keith what was wrong with the PC. He says he reinstalled the operating system and he backed up my hard drive. I told him I have personal information on the PC. He said they do not look at that when repairing the PCs. But he took it upon himself to get a backup my PC's data. What was the purpose of him getting a copy of my data? Why does he think I want him or his staff to have a copy of my data? Keith could have reinstalled the OS, with my permission, without getting a copy of my data. I asked Keith why he did not call me with the diagnostic results. He gave, me no reason that he did not call me with the diagnostic results. Keith had no reason to not follow his own check in sheet. Keith even verbally told me he would call with the diagnostics results, when I offered to pay his diagnostic fee up front. I have worked in computers for many years, I worked installing and reinstalling software on computers and servers. For the past 9 years, including 2024, I worked for a major hospital system, in Toledo. I have worked for several major companies as a developer and as an analyst. I know how to install software on a computer. This not the first computer Keith repaired for me. I even had my son to take his computer there and told others about his PC repair shop. Keith must not be getting the business he once did now in my opinion he is taking unethical measures to drum up business from his existing customers. Yes, he still has my computer and the backup of my data. Now I have to call around to see who can assist me with this problem. Is this something the attorney general can handle? I am open to ideas. For those of you who are reading this posting, I would like to fill you in on the following event. Keith Stone Computers Refused me service because of my medical condition and a perceived political opinion, which is a clear violation of the law. Sorry Keith Stone Computers, but you are the ones that have violated the following laws and orders: 1. Toledo Municipal Code section 521.12 "Face coverings required", Section 1 , Subsection C, Paragraph 1 and Paragraph 6. 2. Ohio Department of Health Director's Order  RE: Director's Order for Facial Coverings throughout the State of Ohio, Paragraph B, Paragraph D. 3. The Americans With Disabilities Act. If you are going to act as the MASK POLICE you should at least read the law so you know what you are enforcing. I repeatedly told your employee that I have a medical exemption, but your employee decided to discriminate against me because of my medical condition and some perceived political view that he thought I held. Obviously you have not read, Toledo Municipal Code section 521.12 "Face coverings required". I have listed all of the exemptions below that apply to our situation; see Section 1, Subsection C, Paragraph 1 and 6. Toledo Municipal Code section 521.12 "Face coverings required". (c) The requirement to wear a face covering through this Ordinance shall not apply to the following: (1) Any individual who cannot wear a face covering because of a medical condition, mental health condition or developmental disability, or who is unable to remove the face covering without assistance, and any individual who should not wear face coverings under the CDC guidance. An individual is not required to produce medical documentation of the condition or disability, provided an employer may require such documentation from an employee in accordance with state and federal law. (6) When an individual is in his or her work office, conference room, or other workspace not intended for use by the general public. In addition, it is obvious you have not read the Ohio Department of Health Director's Order RE: Director's Order for Facial Coverings throughout the State of Ohio. All of the exemptions that apply to our situation are listed below, see Section 2, Subsection 2 titled: The requirement to wear a facial covering does not apply when: Paragraph b and d, see listed below. The requirement to wear a facial covering does not apply when: b. A medical condition including those with respiratory conditions that restrict breathing, mental health conditions, or disabilities contraindicate the wearing of a face covering; d. The individual is alone in an enclosed space, such as an office, or in lieu of an enclosed space, the individual is separated by at least six feet in all directions from all other individuals, and in either case is not intended for use by the public; Furthermore you have violated the The American's With Disabilities Act (ADA).
