I really don't have a big complaint about the store itself - the selection is decent and most of the staff are pretty friendly and offer to help when they see you. My big complaint is their sales ads which I receive via email several times a week. They put the same items on sale month after month, and the discounts are sometimes so insignificant they're not worth paying attention to. When they do offer some "hot buy" at a great price you'll find that they have zero inventory at the local store and it won't be available for shipping ( it happened to me today). I'm sure they intentionally do this to get you in the store in the hopes that you'll buy something different because the item you came for is not in stock or can't be ordered. It's basic bait and switch tactics which is just insulting. I find myself buying more and more online which I lothe to do but when I can order the same items online from a store that actually has the items in stock for a cheaper price, and they generally arrive the next day, it's too easy. If Sportsman's Warehouse wants to keep my business they need to play straight and not waste my time.

In fifteen minutes, he corrected the problem for a reasonable fee. Look, y'all, I actually like that place across town that doubles as a pawn shop. The guys there are friendly and knowledgeable enough, but sheesh, sometimes I wish I could find an Army cot to nap on while I'm waiting to talk to someone. I recently bought a gun at THAT place, and paid fifteen dollars less than what Bastiani Arms charges. But then, if I'd bought the gun at Bastiani, I'd have about an hour of my life handed back to me. If saving every dollar is important to you (and believe me, I can get behind that with my Scottish ancestry 'n all), go to that other place and wade through the throngs of people as you wait for what passes for customer service. But, if you're willing to pay a few bucks more (or in the case of a brick of .22 ammo, eighty cents more) to deal with a shop that has it together, go see the folks at Bastiani Arms. They were patient and answered any questions that I had. In store I got to deal with both Jaime and Jacob. Both of these guys were very friendly, helpful, and professional! Had great conversations both times in was in the shop. I didn't experience anything like previous negative reviews indicated. I think they may have gotten a bad rap! All in all a great place for all your firearm needs!

Didn't think much of it since I thought this was the store policy or something. I was greeted by a younger gentleman, he was very helpful and seemed eager to answer my questions about a firearm while the older man was very condescending and nudging him to stop talking to me. I felt like I was not welcome in their store. Every question I asked the older man was answered with an excuse on why they couldn't help me. None of the other customers that walked in while I was there were asked to show ID. Then after reading all the other reviews I realized it wasn't because they couldn't, but because they didn't want to help me. Also their prices are way to high. Redding guns, the gun cave, Bastiani arms and sportsman's have always been very friendly and helpful. I'll be going to them for any future purchases.

I was able to find a few good reviews on the BBB.org and on CalGuns so I reached out to them by email. Scott responded to each of my emails the following morning. He answered all of questions and gave his professional opinion when requested. I felt extremely comfortable sending him my rifle. He originally quoted 3 weeks to get my rifle back, but it came back to me after 1 week. I was extremely happy with the results. The barrel looks great and my receiver and bolt look new again.
