I won't embarrass the authorized John Deere dealer in Redding by telling you how much it was going…read moreto cost me to diagnose and then fix my D140 lawn tractor that would not start. I replaced the ignition switch and starter solenoid myself and that worked for a while then it wouldn't start again. They offered to test them, but didn't do so when I brought the parts in, but did give me a new switch. It cost me $75 for Tim's Mobile Repair to come to my house, which included 30-minutes of repair time, and that's all it took for him to fix the problem. A little clip on a plug that was part of the wiring harness broke. There is no doubt in my mind that I saved somewhere between $200 to $400 on this simple repair. Next time I'll know what to look out for. And one more thing, the dealer told me they couldn't even get around to looking at my D140 for at least 2-weeks.

His wife says it's no problem. her father managed a State Farm insurance company and she gave me her card and said take it to Coach Masters and I thought OK sounds good. first thing in the morning I went over there and I let them know that my card been door dinged and I gave them her card and they said yes we know her and we know her father and that he ran the State Farm and they do a lot of business with them and they'd give him a call. I set up an appointment and he wrote up an estimate how much it would cost and one little door dang mind you was almost $1900. They had my car for five days and when I got my car back, I was absolutely amazed. You never have known that that car had any do any work done to it anything the paint was pristine. Now Coach Masters told me that this paint was specialty paint and that it was gonna be very difficult to paint because the stage paint they took out my window had to take off the underneath fender well and had to be prepped correctly, and the dent was very deep. When I got that car back it was beautiful. They cut and polished the whole car. It was gorgeous. If you ever have any work that needs to be done. Take it to Coach Masters. Their company has been around for a long time and if I ever have to have work done. I will absolutely take it there

Call mobile RV repair tech who suggested I call Redding Trailer Rental. Got towed here, and Steve and his crew got to work right away and had the bearing replaced and a new drum fitted in under 2 hours. I was about to head out and noticed a frayed 7-pin electrical cable, which they were able to replace in no time also. Cannot recommend this business highly enough.
