I came into the store on May 31 to buy some workout equipment. I also decided I'll look at some running shoes to store clerks help me I spent around 20 minutes finding these shoes to buy. I said I'm not quite sure if they fit well and the gentleman they told me well you could always always go have your feet tested at fleet feet and see exactly what shoe is best for you. then the female Katelyn was her name said don't worry we offer a 90 day no questions asked return policy. You just can't wear the shoes on the dirt. She says go running them. See how they feel if they don't fit well bring them back and we'll exchange them out for another pair. five days later and 25 miles later my feet have blisters on eight of my 10 toes and I'm bleeding from two of my toes so I went to Fleet feet and found out that I actually need to have a size larger because they are running shoe and you go up a size. I came back today to return these shoes to Dicks and swap out for a larger shoe and they refused to help me. They say that they won't honor the word of their employee who told me they have a 90 day policy, which they don't. The manager Gabe was polite but did nothing to help me other than to say I should contact Brooks direct and have them swap out the shoes. It isnt Brooks fault that Dicks Hires staff that doesnt know store policy. Then I went back to return kettleballs so I can go buy shoes elsewhere and the other manager , a bald man was a complete asshole, told me to leave the store. I have never in my life had worst customer service this place is a complete joke. I spent over two hours and 35 minutes now speaking to the tier 2 tier 3, and the regional Director of Dick on the one 800 number and they offer me a gift card that will take 2 to 3 weeks to get here meaning I cannot use these shoes or have running shoes that I paid for for three weeks ... The staff are a bunch of clueless clowns that refuse to stand behind what their staff says to customers. My word of advice NEVER SHOP HERE , go to big 5 pr order online. This place is the absolute worst. I will be calling customer service again now for the next several hours. Complete Crazyness read more

I can't leave here empty handed- service is great called ahead of time and the nice guy who answered was informative and took his time with me and my questions. Dick's has been my go-to spot for all my gear. My hunting needs brings me in, and I always come out with a lot more than what I intended to purchase. The store and staff are great. However, in light of Dick's corporate decision to interject itself into politics and not sell certain firearms, I will be taking my business elsewhere. I estimate I spent around $4,000 (1 firearm, camping gear, ammo, and backpacking items) last year from Dick's. Always a good selection. Usually very organized facility, granted their prices can be a little extra, especially on things like shoes and gear. But clothing is very reasonable and I like they they keep up with trends. They carry the largest assortment of Nike clothing and gear. The staff has always been helpful to me if I cannot find something and frequent the floor asking if you need help with anything. The front desk check out is a fairly quick and easy process. They also have large clearance and sale item selections, which I find are still very organized by size, brand and type. Went looking for a reel for our difficult rod. Ran into the most helpful pleasant gentlemen, that knew A LOT about fishing! He dedicated time on helping us with all the questions we had. I'm giving this location 2 stars because it is clean, well organized and well displayed. They also have a great selection of stock on the shelves, but that is all un-done by the utter lack of customer service. I have made a number of large purchases from Dick's, and each time have had to go to the front and ask them to send someone to help me. I often have to go back up a second time after waiting 15 minutes for somebody to show up. about half the time I give up and leave. I have started a new approach which seems to work for me. I give them 5 minutes, then I pull out my smart phone and start ordering the product from Amazon. If they don't get there before I finish, then I just order it and leave. I want to keep my money local even if it means spending a little more, but my time has value to me, and I can't stand it being wasted. read more

This store does not enforce masks. We were just there and there is a LOT of people who do not wear masks & staff doesn't force patrons to put them on either. Don't come here unless you enjoy near death experiences with COVID. Even some of the staff cannot wear masks correctly so not really much hope for this store. read more

Shop here if you like overpriced goods. Buy items online and they send you returns in an open box with clearance tags (hope you like to sleep in someone else's sleeping bag). Try to call to see if they have an item in stock, and after 12 minutes of being put on-hold by three people, the phone system hangs up. I found myself in a situation where I was very unhappy with the customer service and the knowledge of an employee and I ended up leaving the store very disappointed. To the point where I didn't think I would shop here again. After a few days I decided to try again and see if the product was available. I spoke with Brandon the bike mechanic and was informed that the person who had helped me previously was a new employee. After explaining my frustration to Brandon about my previous experience he was very apologetic about the false information, the inexperienced employee and for the horrible service that I had received. Brandon went above and beyond to make sure I left the store knowing that he would make it right and he did just that. Thank you Brandon for not only fixing the situation but for making it obvious you care about your customers. This man deserves a raise! read more

Absolutely terrible customer service experience here yesterday. Came in looking for a specific product and the sales clerk was complaining about how grouchy everyone was. She couldn't find what I was looking for so I tried finding someone else to help me. Well, that was a chore. An impressive sized store with a little bit of everything but not a lot of anything. From soup to nuts they have it all as long as you are not looking for a specific brand or model I was looking for Asics Nimbus 15. Nope. They had other shoes by Asics but not these. Also sought a Titleist Vokey wedge. Couldn't find any. They seem to carry a lot of Nike products for some reason. Staff was friendly and eager to help. read more

My husband and I went to this business today and as we approached, we see a sign that says we are mandated to wear our masks inside the store. Ok, no problem, we put them on before we entered. As we walk in, we are greeted by a young guy, asking us what we're there for, no greeting of "hi, how can I help you." We tell him, he continues to stand there and quietly radio's to a staff member what we are looking for. My husband asks him "are we not allowed to walk around?" The young guy responds "yeah you are but I'm just seeing if we have it in stock" as he stands there in front of us. He then tells us that they do not have what we are looking for, even though your website said you had 5 in stock at that location. okay, maybe it wasn't updated, however, if we ARE allowed to walk around then why are we being deterred out? Interesting....we just left and won't be back. Communication is key. There should be some sort of communication if you are hesitant to allow people to walk freely in your store and to not feel as if we are being deterred out (as we watch others walk around your store) read more

I bought a brand new bike from dicks. After riding for a bit I noticed the brakes where running the tires while riding. I also noticed the chain would not shift from the front middle gear. I took it back in and they charged me 60$ bucs for a tune-up and a brake service I picked the bike up and thought I was good to go. Well, guess what? The issues were only worse. 60 bucs for nothing. Stopped in to buy an Olympic Weight Bar, waited several minutes in the weight area for assistance. Saw one person who actually worked there and he glanced over but never made an attempt to help out and walked off in another direction. There were hardly any shoppers in the store so they were not busy by any means. Walked around and was helped by an enthusiastic and knowledgable young man who answered all my questions and actually uses the products I was interested in. I had a manager follow me around like a criminal while talking into his little secret squirrel mic. He was very blatant about it. When I reached the checkout he followed and stood behind the checker eyeing me as his employee neither greeted nor acknowledged me. He was very cheery with the girl in front of me. I never said a word to him as I swiped my credit card and he asked for my ID. He was very surprised after seeing my state ID and changed his tune with me as the theft prevention manager looked on. I have gone here on three separate occasions to purchase items that were listed on sale in the printed ad. Each time they were out of stock of the items. When asked when the new deliveries would come I was told that they get deliveries each day but never know what's coming in. Each of my experiences and with me being walked to a computer in the front of the store and ordering online to have an item shipped to my home...which is something I could've stayed at home and did! If I could give this store less than one star, I would. Don't shop here if you can avoid it and never purchase a firearm from them. That was a giant mistake on my part. I purchased a gun from here and was told I would be getting the sale price, even though they had to order it from their warehouse. They tell me I need to pay when they order it for me. When I got got ready to pay., they give me a price that didn't match what they said they would do. They continued to tell me that I needed to send in a mail in rebate to get the sale price? Made no sense to me. I ended up paying full price. They tell me I'll get a recite when the gun comes in, guess what, no recite. When I got my order shipped to the store, I went in to fill out the paperwork. I kept asking when I would be getting the sale price and the man behind the counter was acting as if he had no clue what I was talking about. They push a $50 Dick's gift card, saying that will fix it. I didn't want to do anymore business with them, I wanted my sale price for money back into my pocket. Ended up talking to a blonde woman who claims she was the manager. Worst person to have to deal with, terrible customer service. She was rude and kept telling me if I had a problem, go to corporate. I will gladly. Picked up my gun today, still no original recite. I need it because Remington is honoring the rebate. I paid with my debt card and their telling me they can't pull up my transaction. I plan on going back and continuing up the line until things are settled right. Do not reccomend shopping here, take your business to Sportsman's Warehouse for your outdoor needs. Every time a bad experience. Five visits in all. Three times I was charged more at the register than the sign on the display. Had to have someone go back in the store and check and the signs were wrong. They gave me the sign price, but it was a hassle. Went to buy two Pelican recreational kayaks today, and there wasn't a single Pelican on the shelf. Nobody was there to help me, so I went to Dick"s online site and began placing an order for two kayaks and two paddles. As I went to checkout, I saw tgey wanted to charge me an additional $300 for shipping to my house--and no option to ship to the store. So now my $600 order was over $900. Customer service chat hasn't responded to me, so I guess my order was not important to Dick's. Sorry, Dick's, I will take my $600 elsewhere. read more

Usually have an alright experience in here. Came in after work looking to purchase a new set of golf clubs. Walked around the golf area for a good 30 minutes not seeing anyone. Gentleman comes into said area and behind counter onto computer, I'm looking at irons. Doesn't say a word to me, so I continue to browse the irons as he seems involved in something else, another customer walks up and he jumps right to asking him if he needs help.
