Nice place. Looks very clean and well kept. I don't think it is very old, but it may be older than it looks. The wait staff is great and the menu is pretty good although I, personally, would like to see some more vegetable options. The mushroom and swiss burger is good I can say that. Cute place. We had a large party. I got the patty melt. I had opened my sandwich up just to look and one half didn't even have onions or mushrooms and the meat was tiny. So I moved the the onions and mushrooms from the other side over myself. And I asked for pickles on the side and they forgot. But in her defense, we did have a large group. And it didn't taste bad. The steak was not seasoned at all, and cooked on the flat grill. The cod dinner was raw in the center. The croutons were unseasoned stale bread. The best thing that the rude waitress delivered was the side of French Fries. She also cursed in front of my mother and the numerous children that were dining. Visited before, so not first time. They've really expanded and it looks and feels clean and nice. Had the cheese curds, fried pickles and a special fried pepperjack cheese balls. Everything yummy, the ranch they serve with the appetizers is so good. I had the small sirloin with fries and coleslaw. I LIKE coleslaw and this was some of the best I've ever had. Creamy just a bit of tang. The steak was cooked perfect. Great flavor tender. Hubby had the ribeye, sooo good. Fries were hot and crispy. Our waitress was great. Drinks refilled food brought hot. Like they say, nothing fancy just good food. The cheeseburgers are a good size for the price and always taste good. The steaks are tender and the fries are delightful. Servers are nice and rarely leave your drink empty. Overall a nice place for good food at a decent price. read more

I visit relatives up in Memphis, Missouri and my family goes to this restaurant each time I'm up there. The food is amazing, especially their catfish and fried chicken. Although it's busy all the time it's worth the wait. The cleanliness is great and the atmosphere is breathtaking due to their collection of over 2000 coffee cups. This is a great place for groups. It is great for anyone who walks in Keith's Cafe's door! read more

It's hard to give a general rating to Keith's. I'd give it four stars for the food and the portions (the large t-bone is as big as the plate), but the waitress didn't deserve 1 star. The place was busy as it was hunting season but the young girl waiting on us seemed angry about something and was taking it out on her tables. I'm not asking anyone to kiss a customer's a** but a smile can go a long way with me. She took our order and never came back. I left with a sour taste in my mouth (not from the food). read more

We ordered the special, which was hot beef. Unfortunately, it was the worst hot beef I have ever eaten. The gravy was barely brown, it was the color of chicken gravy. It was runny like water and had absolutely no flavor. The potatoes were brown from being aged and tasted burnt and old, like they had been in the steam table for days. It was so bland and old. I used to love this cafe and I have come here for years since I was a kid. The food is pretty good, but the last time I went (on my anniversary), I decided to tip the cook and discretely told him that our waitress (a thin, older woman with brown hair and glasses) had offered us continuously bad service on more than one occasion (refilling my beverage with mixed soda(s), leaving for five minutes + at a time, serving food without saying anything, giving me the wrong condiments on my sandwiches, and having a scowl on her face). He threw my tip at her and asked me to take it up with her, and she got incredibly snotty with me and made a scene (which is what I avoided doing, as to not upset nearby customers). I spoke with the owner (Andy Boyer) to raise concerns about my treatment, and he apologized on their behalf. I will never recommend this restaurant to anyone again, as nobody, particularly a loyal (and high tipping) customer, should be treated so rudely and inconsiderately. I may return someday if the staff get an attitude adjustment. read more
