First, the positives: the atmosphere is definitely a vibe! It's cute, relaxing, and has a nice overall feel. I also appreciated that the service comes with snacks, which is a fun little touch that makes the experience feel more elevated. Most importantly, I love how my nails turned out. My nail technician did a great job, and I was very happy with the finished product. Where things got a little frustrating was with communication. I requested a basic pedicure with gel polish and a gel polish color change on my fingernails. The receptionist mentioned that she was confused about my request, which caught me off guard because I felt like I was pretty clear about what I wanted. I also didn't understand why I was charged separately for removing my previous gel polish when I was getting a gel polish change. To me, removing the old gel seems like part of the process of changing the gel color, so I would have appreciated having that explained before the service. My fiancé also got a manicure for the first time. He specifically and repeatedly requested no polish. Unfortunately, clear polish was still applied to his nails. He didn't even realize it had been put on until I noticed his nails later. That was probably the biggest communication issue for us because he had clearly expressed what he wanted. Then, when it was time to pay, there was another mix-up. Our services were incorrectly assigned between our bills. Instead of me being charged for the gel polish change on my hands, I was charged for the pedicure. His manicure and my pedicure should have been on his bill, while I should have only been charged for my gel polish change. We didn't really push the issue at the time because it felt like trying to untangle everything was only going to create more chaos. However, it is something worth mentioning because clear communication and accurate billing are important parts of the overall customer experience. Would I go back? Yes. I wouldn't write the salon off based on this experience. My nails genuinely turned out great, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere and little extras like the snacks. I think there is room for improvement when it comes to communication, listening to specific requests, and making sure services are entered and billed correctly. For now, I'd personally rate my experience around a 3.4/5. The nail quality and atmosphere definitely earned points, while the communication and billing issues brought the overall experience down. I'd suggest booking an appointment rather than walking in, and make sure to confirm exactly what services you're going to receive and the pricing beforehand. It also doesn't help to see that the receipts aren't itemized specifically to show the customer what services they received with add ons (if any). The service(s) on the receipts just reads "custom."

My aesthetician was young but very professional and thorough, and my manicure is continuing to last over a week without chips (which often times occur with manicures that are not gel or acrylic). I was able to experience the new add-on to the original salon that is their spa area, which was peaceful, clean, and quiet. There were many salon brand hair care products on shelves that I have used in the past and was happy to see offered. The staff was very kind and I was glad to make a stop at Willow Creek. The owner is very rude, condescending, and overall just gives off witch vibes. Every time I see her or am around her she's so incredibly rude. She is racist as well there was a stylist there that was black and she made comments about how they don't belong. Also, she cut my son's hair once and I'd never let her cut anyone's hair again. The salon also needs some upkeep. It's nice on surface but you do a lot of looking around when you get your hair done and you notice the lack of upkeep. I left when my stylist left and would advise everyone to avoid.

By the end of the service, I had what is commonly called a "ring of fire"--the skin surrounding several toenails was red, irritated, tender, and visibly overworked. A pedicure should leave your feet feeling refreshed and cared for, not sore and inflamed. Despite the poor quality of the service and the discomfort it caused, I was still charged full price with little acknowledgment of the issue. The owner pulled the nail tech back while she corrected the lack of polish and tailoring of the pedicure, standing over me while she some what fixed the issue. I am currently renewing my pedicure from a different facility. While completing this, the nail tech noticed significant crater with each toe.

I'm wondering if it had something to do with coming on a Thursday rather than the weekend. I was called back to my appointment on time and got my service right away (gel manicure.) Most of the color examples were available for me to look through when I got there, even though the one color I wanted was out of stock (go figure) I was able to find a very similar one and was just as happy with it. The receptionists were MUCH nicer this time too. I also enjoyed that it was not super busy so it actually felt relaxing to be there. Brooklyn was so friendly, kept the conversation going, and did such a great job on my nails. She paid attention to detail and did a great polish. She was very patient with me choosing another color and got my nails done right by the ending time of my appointment which was perfect because I had to get somewhere that evening. Shout out to her!
