My service was trash... I used to go to Bryan's all the time but my last service I was fat shamed. I'm 130 pounds and 5'4 and it wasn't even by the lady doing my service it was by the lady doing my sisters service. Then Bryan told a young lady to go back to her own country!! How disgusting. I literally went to the car and balled my eyes out. Not to mention my service has me in tears before that ( yes I had a hang nail) but I've had them removed carefully without that much pain! It was so painful and I have a very high pain tolerance. Then once I was done and teary eyed the lady acted like my tip wasn't good enough and even made a comment about the tip! This place is awful to other human beings. If I could leave 0 stars I would!! The saddest part is you lost two costumers who tipped good and were regulars. AWFUL nail salon. I drove all the way from Michigan with a friend, as our salons are still closed. Upon entering we were told to sign in and wait in our car until they called us for our appointment time. After about 15 minutes they called and we entered the salon, masks included and they began our manicures. About 10 minutes in, the woman doing my nails felt my hands and said I felt warm. Then, a guy who seemed to be the manager, Brian came over with the forehead thermometer and proceeded to check my temperature. He didn't tell me the temperature however he continued to do it two more times, again not telling me what the temperature was. He then walked away, and the woman continued to do my nails. Just as she was about to put the polish on, he checked my temperature and said unfortunately he is unable to service me because I have a fever. I immediately got out of my seat and left, pretty embarrassed. He then continued to tell my friend that I was sick and I knew that I was sick--insinuating that I purposely came into the salon with a fever trying to get my nails done. The few things that bother me are that I never saw him check anybody else's temperature who entered the salon after us the entire about 30 minutes that we were there. Of course as soon as I got my temperature checked he started to check everybody else's. He also never showed me my temperature either of the 4 times he took it! The thing is, I checked my temperature the day before when I went to work and it was completely normal. So, of course the first thing I did when I got home (an hour later), was check my temperature. Sure enough, it was 97.1 BOTH times I checked it. Needless to say, I will not be back to this salon. Very rude and unprofessional on how the situation was handled. read more

I got a full set with gel polish on top and my total was $46 which is not horrible. they kept my hands very clean while they were working and that makes me feel a lot better so nothing got in the polish. now to the part that bothered me, they seemed to have over booked because i made my appointment at 12 and they started working on me at 12:45. Pissed!! After YEARS of receiving nail services here I am officially DONE! I had my nails soaked off and paid for a MANICURE. I had a photo of the nail design I wanted and showed it to the tech. He acknowledged it, clearly saw it. And I look down to seeing him put a top coat on my nowhere near done nails!! I asked about the design and was told , " it's too late" because the top coat was on. And how do you charge for a manicure and leave cuticles looking trashed? Basically they soaked off my acrylic pink and white trimmed them and slapped a coat of paint on top! And even the paint job wasn't what I requested! I showed him the cuticles and the crap job and he says, " I cut the cuticles" and then proceeded to ignore me. I've probably spent thousands here between pedicures, nails, and brows. When I was a "newer" customer I got excellent service, and now I get treated like the third cousin who dropped in at their house at the last minute asking for a favor. I'm a CUSTOMER and this was awful work. To make matters worse their kids were there sitting in a closet sized room loudly yelling for attention and creating a racket. My two friends and I decided to treat ourselves to a pedicure a few days ago. We get to the salon at 3:00 and they tell us to come back at 4:00. Not a problem, we were walk ins and they were busy, totally understandable. We wait an hour and come back at 4:00. They bring us back and we start soaking in the pedicure bowls. They close at 5 on Sunday's so when 4:45 rolls around, and we haven't been started yet, I asked my friends if they wanted to just leave and we would try another day, they said we should wait it out a little longer. Finally at 5:00, after an hour of soaking, they had started our pedicures. One of my friends and I had gel on our nails, so she started soaking my friends toes in acetone, and my girl decided to drill mine off. Normally I don't care if they use the drill on me but she brought over a dirty used sand bit and started working on me. Then while she was scrubbing with the pumice stone she had cut the side of my foot. My pedicure was a hasty 17 minutes long, and you can tell. My friend was STILL soaking in the acetone when I was done, her toes were burning until we got home. My other friend didn't even get a massage with her pedicure. We go to ring out and there's signs up front that say "no card tips". None of us have cash so I ask if I can tip on the card since it gave me the option. She gives me a disappointed look and says "yeah you can, we just don't like it because we have to report it." Now I get that, I'm a tipped employee, but I don't commit tax evasion by telling my clients they can't tip me on card, that's just not ethical. We pay and leave, 2 days later my friends gel polish is bubbling and falling off. If I would have known that they wouldn't have gotten to us until after close and would have rushed through our pedicures I wouldn't have stayed. Talk about uneven shellac with bumps all over your nail and cutting your cuticles so low that you're bleeding (that sh*t stays sore for days!). On the other hand, the women here are amazing. Especially when it comes to Pedi's. This is the only place that I've been to that will actually take a little foot razor and scrape off your callouses (which I'm sure I have enough for the both of us). You know when you go to a place and they have like a 3 tier pedi chart that you have to choose from? This place doesn't have that, they just have their one general pedi that has all of the things that a 3 tier pedi chart would offer. Literally, the pedicures here take 45-60 minutes. On May 11, 2019 my daughter got a gel manicure and a pedicure done in 30 minutes. Obviously it didn't last longer than a week because it was rushed because they were busy because of Mother's Day. Honestly they deserve 0 stars!! my experience was that bad. I am a student at the UT at this place is one of the few places near campus that offers student discount. The salon was clean it seemed to be a little older. Well... I got my nails done (full set) , a lady named Tracey did them. it was a fair job. When it was time for me to pay is when the issue begun. She asked for my student ID and I showed it to her she told me I would not be able to get the student discount because "the year wasn't on it".. I enrolled in UT Fall 2012 , so I did not know what she was talking about. Basically she tried to tell me I was not enrolled at UT. She had gotten so rude to the point she asked for my schedule. It escalated to the point I wanted to leave, I had not got the polish on my nails yet so I stayed. I had a gel manicure with Brian, and the polish was not applied close enough to the cuticle, so I went in 2 days later, explaining my disappointment to Tracy. I showed her that my manicure looked like it was more than a week old (Brian was not in at the time). Tracy suggested that perhaps l had been eating "very healthy" for the last 2 days, and my nails grew, then she said they don't apply the gel close to the cuticle, because when it grows out, it catches when you run your fingers through your hair?! I have gone in on 3 separate occasions, the first 2 were ok. I was with the only guy that works there, and he did a good job. Today I was with whomever sits in front of the door. 1) She literally burnt the ends of 2 of my fingers with her drill to "slightly" shorten my nails...blood, open skin etc. 2) ALL of my nails are random and un-uniform lengths 3) ALL of the white (pink & white powder) is crooked as if a drunk guy took this up as a side job... 4) When we got to the pink (as I was there for a "balance" or a "fill" ) she tried to leave a huge gap between my cuticle and where the other had grown out. I have been going to Luxury nails for a few months- I'm new to the gel nails. I had a good experience with Hailey, but the good stopped there. Tracy and Brian both used the nail drill to remove my gel polish- Brian used it so much it actually burned my nail beds-ouch! The gel polish hasn't lasted more than a week and my nails are now destroyed underneath because of the nail drill- they are so weak and they hurt. I even asked Brian not to use the nail drill but he insisted saying "I'm just taking off the polish." They use these tools because they won't take the time to do it right. I'm frustrated and done with Luxury nails. It seems all they care about it moving people in and out of there and getting their cash tip. read more

I was at the salon this weekend and entering the store we were greeted in a nice manner. We were taken to the chair for pedicures and i took my socks and shoes off and went to put my feet in the water it was freezing cold. How can you not tell the water is cold. Most techs feel the water. My mother's was scalding hot. So she adjusted them. Then we sat there for 30min before someone came over to do a pedicure on my mom. The tech was nice however needs further training. She did not did out ingrown toe nails or file any of either of our toe nails. They charge extra for them to shave down your heels to get the excess skin off. The basic pedicure we got was 25.00 they were going to charge 35 to shave down your heels. The typical place we go to charged 25.00 plus tax and it's a full hour pedicure that includes everything. I would not take my dog there for any service . The blonde girl that was there haylee was rushing through her customers and had multiple customers at one time. When I get a pedicure I want to be pampered not rushed. I don't think they deserve ANY stars, but I wanted to leave a review. I went in on February 6, 2015 and asked for a polish change using shellac. I just had my acrylics done the Wednesday before, so I literally only needed a polish change. I sat down with Brian and could tell right away that he was rude and boy was I right! When I was done I went to pay and he charged me $21.40. Ridiculous. The next day, I noticed that most of the polish on all but 2 of my fingers was peeling. So I went back that afternoon and explained the problem. I even left the polish on one nail so they could see that it was peeling. The lady (I think her name was Tracy) told me that I needed to wait for Brian. After sitting there for about 20 minutes, Brian took another client at his table. I then asked Tracy why Brian had to be the one to put polish on my nails and she said because he's the one that did it the night before. So after about an hour and 10 minutes, Brian FINALLY yelled for me. So I went back to his table and he immediately started making comments. "This has never happened before." I'm not sure how this happened." Which in my opinion, he was accusing me of doing something. Anyway, after he finished me and I sat there for a minute rubbing the oil in, he had the audacity to say, "This time I don't charge you, but next time, I charge you!" Really?! How is it my fault that my nails polish PEELED? Needless to say, I will NEVER be back. I heard them being rude to several people. I would think twice before having any service done here. read more

I have been here two time prior to this visit. I went two years ago when I was still in high school and I was extremely impressed. This time I was greeted decently but I wouldn't say very professionally. I was seated in about 30 minutes for a full set. Lindsey put my tips on and some of them did not fit so Tracey had to redo them. When Tracey called me over the women she was finishing up was bleeding pretty badly and she wasn't doing anything about it except obviously insulting her for complaining. Seeing the woman before me bleeding I was for one terrified I would be cut as well and even more concerned about blood borne pathogens! I do like how they have you pay before the polish so you don't mess up your nails but i was charged $35 without tax for a french manicure. They don't even use white polish or an airbrush they use white tips so shouldn't a french be ALOT cheaper? The top coat hardly covers the entire acrylic. I've been picking and filing extra glue and acrylic off for hours. Some of my nails are also not even. When Tracey was "done" with my nails she told me very rudely to leave no thank you or even a simple goodbye. Lets say I will NOT be returning to Luxury Nails. Update: It hasn't even been 24 hours and my acrylics are beginning to crack around my cuticles already. I went in on a Saturday, 6/22/13. They charged me full price for a seven year old to have a manicure/pedicure, when all I wanted was her toes cleaned up and polished, and same with nails. 35.00, I had the worst pedicure I have ever had, when you leave with your feet rougher than when you went in, something is not right. I soaked for over 20 minutes, as they were very busy, and the actual pedicure took him less than twenty minutes, with no scrub used, and the cheapest pink lotion, bought at the dollar store, no doubt. Nice paint job on toes and nails, but that is it. I also had gel color total with tip 90.00. Never ever again. Also they have a sterilizer, for all tools, never once saw them use it. Not a pleasant experience..my friend and I got there and it was dead so we got right in, which was awesome. My girl starts the water and tells me to sit down and watches me take off my flip flops and put my feet straight into really really hot water and then casually said it might be hot. So I pull them out obviously and she said she turned on the cold water.. So after burning my feet she tells me to pick which pedicure I want, there were 3 choices. So I pick the one that was 35 and you supposedly get a couple more massages. My girl talks the whole time and stops working on my feet multiple times to talk to me, my friend or the girl doing my friends feet. I wasn't in a rush but I'm paying a little extra to get more out of this. She doesn't rub my feet or legs AT ALL. She puts the different lotions and scrubs, with zero pressure.
