I would highly recommend people to go elsewhere to have their clothing repaired than by this Tailor. He is extremely expensive and has a cocky obnoxious attitude. I will never step foot into his shop again. If you have a small job he couldn't care less about your satisfaction because he rudely and arrogantly says he has so much business he doesn't need you. I needed to have a zipper repaired on my motorcycle leather jacket. This jacket is very special to me, as we've made many rides together; Nova Scotia, Wyoming - Devils Tower and on and on since 2005. So you see where I did not want to retire it and buy a new one. It was also very road worn and had a nice patina to it. The zipper on the front of the jacket is a heavy duty, two way pull zipper. So the replacement would have to be perfect. I really didn't know where to go, so I called the very nice folks at Deerfield Leathers in Deerfield, NH. They said that they do not do repair work there, but they recommended the Kelley St. Tailor Shop in Manchester, NH. So, I called the shop and spoke with Kevin; he confirmed that they did indeed do leather jacket zipper repair and to bring it in. I went there the next day and walked in and was greeted right away with a 'Can I help you?'. I showed my jacket to Kevin, he said that he might have the zipper, he went to the back of the shop and came out with a heavy duty zipper, but it was not a two way. He said he would order it and I should call him next Thursday. I also asked Kevin if he could repair a zipper on the left sleeve and re-stitch a very old Harley Davidson patch on the right sleeve, he said yes, not a problem. The next week I called, he said the jacket was ready and to come and get it! So, I stopped in and there it was, new zipper on the front and side and a re stitched patch on my right sleeve! That jacket will continue to ride with me! What a great job, I highly recommend Kevin and the Kelley St. Tailor Shop! read more

My son and I bought matching suits for our June 13th wedding but, due to COVID-related delays, we were very late in receiving them. I thought I was going to be hard-pressed to find a tailor that was open - never mind able to work on short notice. Fortunately, Kelley Street Tailor was both! Kevin was super nice on the phone and very professional in person while taking our measurements. We dropped our suits off on Wednesday morning and he said he'd have them ready by the following Wednesday (just three days before my wedding!). I was still freaking out a little because of the tight schedule but, true to his word, our suits were ready for pickup Wednesday morning and, Oh, my God!, did they fit perfect! He made adjustments to the sleeves and hems of my son's suit but also added a waist adjustment to mine and everything was spot-on. On top of the fantastic work, the price was much lower than I had anticipated. All this to say that I cannot recommend Kelley Street Tailor enough and I encourage anyone in need of alterations to give their business to this tailor. read more

I tried this place a few months ago for the first time. Kevin (the owner) did a fine job hemming my pants and taking in waists. My only reservation has to do with a dress he shortened by about 3", but didn't make the back slit any longer (so it's just a "tab" instead of a slit). I didn't notice until I got home, and didn't bother to take it back in, but it gives me pause. I'll try a different place next because of this and it's just a difficult location for me. read more

I brought in a tea length dress to be taken in and brought up to k nee length. I picked up the dress without inspecting it in store (big mistake), the wedding was cancelled so I didn't need it right away. About a month after I picked it up I took it out for the first time and realized that it was still tea length. I tried calling him and calmly resolving my issue with him but he (the owner) blew up and accused me of simply trying to alter the dress again because the wedding was cancelled. He was rude and volatile and completely unwilling to hear anything I had to say right fro the start. The sad thing is me and my freinds have been bringing various jobs to him for many years and now none of us will ever use him again. There's plenty of good tailors out there. If you go here he might not mess it up, but if he does good luck resolving it with him calmly. This man is a loose cannon. read more

I am currently looking for a seamstress to hem a couple of items for me,,, honestly, I was recommended to this tailor ,,, I went in a couple of times for dry cleaning and a couple of alterations.. I agree with one of the reviews.. owner is a time bomb.. no personality... whatsoever... felt like I was bothering him. perhaps he should look for another career cause he clearly is in the wrong business of pleasing customers..
