She and her team create a calm, welcoming environment that really helps if you've had bad dental experiences in the past or deal with anxiety. During his first visit, he was told that the office did not have time to determine or explain what was in the products being used. Later, when he asked for the exact product names and manufacturers of any anesthetic, filling material, bonding agent, or other material selected for his treatment, the office declined to provide that information. He was not asking the office to research every product in advance or prepare an extensive report. He simply wanted to know what medication or material had been selected before it was injected or placed in his mouth, so he could review the manufacturer's information himself. Instead of working with him on that basic request, the office canceled his appointment and offered to send him back to the VA, even though he had waited months and was experiencing dental pain. We understand that dental offices are busy and that products may vary depending on the treatment needed. However, patients should be able to ask what is being administered or permanently placed in their bodies without being treated as difficult or unsuitable for care. A patient asking, "What exactly are you using?" should receive a clear answer--not lose access to treatment.

Buyer beware! I scheduled my college age son for an evaluation for wisdom teeth removal…read more 19 Dec 16. Got the official written quote; our co-pay $833.00. Scheduled the surgery for 8 Aug 17. I had to go to PA due to a family emergency two days before the surgery. My wife took my son to the appointment. After receiving the bill, she commented that the price was a lot more than we expected; the receptionist said that was pre-insurance and they'd file. When I returned a week later and questioned why we paid the money up front the receptionist told me that Dr. House was no longer in our insurance network. I asked when he dropped out and was first told Jan then May. Regardless sometime between the evaluation and the surgery he dropped our insurance network; telling us didn't make the cut. We found out he was out of the network one week after the surgery. When the insurance paid, our co-pay jumped to $2006.00. I contacted the Dr. office to try to work something out. Our position fell on deaf ears, apparently, they don't believe notifying patients when they drop an insurance network after scheduling a surgery is their responsibility. Somehow that doesn't seem right. Competent surgeon but . . . watch your wallet.

When I called Niceville Family Practice, Mrs. Cindy was so helpful. She got me in on the same day I called. I saw their ARNP (Registered Nurse Practitioner), Kimberly Smith. Mrs. Kimberly was so friendly and helpful. I had a question about a new prescription and even though she wasn't familiar with it, she went and did some research while I waited. She came back with the required tests I would need and had me on my way in no time. I had to return shortly after for a follow up and they got me in so fast and I was back to work in less than an hour. However I did not feel like I was rushed in any way! Mrs. Smith took her time in going over everything with me. I definitely recommend this practice!

Much more than other…read moredental work I have had done, and I have had substantial amount of dental work Besides the pain, Dr. Scheuffler decided to do ( at the last minute) a 3rd prepartion for a dental implant , which my own dentist was going to complete. My dentist, who also does total implants , felt only 2 were necessary. This decision was made at last minute. He called my dentist and he went along with this decision. Obviously I was charged additonal monies for this work . But what was really upsetting was that Dr. Scheuffler did not feel it was necessary to tell me that my other dentist would also be charging me an additonal substantial amount of money. If I had known that his decision would end up costing me over $ 3000.00, I would have just gone with the two and had a larger bridge put in( as I had an even larger bridger previously that lasted 20 years!). Also, one of his women staffer was definitely not someone I would let deal with me again. Horrible person. Make sure that the entire cost of any procedure is written up , not only for his work, but they also need to advise you of possible other expenses. Well, they got their money and I ended up being stuck with a lot of (which I felt was not 100% necessary for the money involved). To say i was upset over this experience is putting it mildly. I seldom write reviews and defintely do not like negative reviews, but this is what happened!

I was early and they took me early, I didn't have to wait. My cleaning went fine, and when Dr. Bowers came by I showed him a tooth I chipped in February and he filed it down, and smoothed it out for free!!! I haven't had a dentist that wasn't a personal friend from college in about a decade and I couldn't be happier that I chose Dr. Bowers. He's amazing. Great bedside manner, and really listens to you with no upsell.

I even underwent two surgeries. After moving to Florida, I was extremely hesitant to switch providers, so for years I continued traveling over 8 hours back to Georgia for appointments. Because of that history, I was initially unsure about seeing a PA instead of an MD. But Jonathan Needler exceeded every expectation I had -- and then some. Jonathan's attention to patients is truly exceptional. He listens fully, without interrupting, and takes the time to understand every detail before offering thoughtful, knowledgeable guidance. What impressed me most is that he was able to answer several questions that specialists in Georgia -- MDs -- could not answer. More than once, I heard "I have no idea" from previous doctors, yet Jonathan immediately understood the issues and provided clear explanations and helpful suggestions. I am genuinely grateful that I scheduled a visit with him. My only regret is not doing it sooner. I have been going to Twin Cities Family Practice for about five years. There is not one person in…read morethe office from receptionist to doctors that I dislike. I started out seeing Dr. Schmidt who retired and now I see Dr. Moore. Dr. Schmidt's Nurse was Alicia who is still at the clinic and she is great! She always offered me great advice and was very good at helping me communicate with the doctor. Dr. Moore is very intelligent and professional while having a great bedside manner that is personable and reassuring. I feel so safe with her as my doctor that I have transferred my teenager (who has a genetic disease) to her care as well. Dr. Moore's Nurse Angie is very kind. They both go the extra mile to listen and make you feel heard. Angie is very good at returning phone calls promptly- sometimes into the evening hours. Ashley is great at setting up referrals and is very patient with my individual preferences. Melissa at the front desk makes me smile every time I visit as well as Lily. They are both so friendly! So is Selina who is not at the front anymore but is sometimes at a desk in the back. Lynn is the office manager and she has helped me with many things! I love her professionalism while still being relatable and kind. The clinic is able to draw labs in house which is helpful if your visit is earlier in the day. They book appointments pretty far out but if you have an acute issue they will get you in quickly. There is not a better staff and practice in this area or better yet in any of the many areas I've traveled. If they are taking new patients, you should definitely get an appointment! ‍
