I had a dental emergency and was not an established patient. I called the office on a Saturday morning (office was closed), and Dr. Corley happened to have been there; it appeared he was overseeing some maintenance work being done at the office and answered his own office phone!! He said he would see me, handled the issue and was so kind. He called in an assistant and she was just as kind and accommodating. You would never have thought I wasn't an established patient or that it was a Saturday and was putting them out in any way. Dr. Corley handled everything from paperwork, X-rays, prep work for the procedure (things the support staff typically handles during business hours) and treated me as if I had been a patient for years. His assistant that came in was just as lovely and empathetic to my need. I did ask Dr. Corley why he answered the phone. His reply ~ "Well, if my phone is ringing, it's either one of my patients with a need, or someone with an emergency such as yourself". Stellar Dentist, wonderful staff, beautiful office right in the heart of Destin and will be my new Dentist from here moving forward!! My daughter has had dental issues since she was 5 years old. We had gone through 3 dentists and an oral surgeon. After years of heartache and torture, we finally found someone we can trust! All the other dentists wouldn't work with her or wanted to put her under and do all of her dental work all at the same time in a hospital setting. After my husband's health insurance changed, we shopped around and came to Dr Corley. I was expecting to be turned away once again or be told that I needed to spend thousands and thousands of dollars to get her teeth fixed. Emerald Coast Dental, with Dr Corley, is an excellent establishment. Called to see if they could get my son in, whom was in extreme pain for 2-3days, the staff listened and had him to come in and they'll try to work him in. No other dental clinic even offered. The staff insured he was comfortable while waiting. They couldn't work him in, so they made next day appointment. They ordered pain and infection medications wthout any input from my son. Next day they did what they needed to do, The staff insured my son was as comfortable as possible throughout the procedure. It was my first visit in 7 years and they were the last dental service I went to. They still had my files in their system which was nice. It was just a preliminary cleaning but they were very thorough with what needed to be done and very painless. Prices were a bit high but I don't have insurance yet so it was fair. While on vacation the week of July 4th I developed a severe toothache. They worked me right into the schedule and provided excellent care for a very reasonable price.
