LOVE THIS PLACE! The…read moreAmbiance is wonderful and Overall this was a pleasant experience, with good value marked by excellent service. The food was cooked perfectly as well! If you're a first timer make sure to note that your little table tag (looks like a drink coaster) signals whether you're FINISHED or WANT MORE STEAK.

It was also annoying for the waitress (not the gal that served us btw - a host perhaps) to give the vibe like they were doing us a favor by applying the $50 Birthday promo that THEY send via email (note, I verbally this flagged when we arrived just in case - but they didn't initially have it on our bill). My head is thinking "calm down--we ate minimally and got drinks. Don't offer it if you're going to have an attitude about adjusting the bill". It was just weird. They also didn't offer any bday dessert treat but we weren't super pressed bc we were so full. The meat was a bit overdone and all kind of tasted the same this visit. Didn't get to try the lamb chops and a few other meats, but still has a nice variety. Salad bar is top notch and consistent, although wish their black beans were plain due to all the meat. Drinks were ok--heavy pours but lower quality wine. The $29 "Wine Experience" package was worth it for my husband who likes variety of wines with his dinner depending on what he's eating. I'm sure I'll come again but it's been bumped a few notches on my Go To list.

We decided to spring for valet parking for $8 but then realized there's 2 hour street parking for free just beyond the hedges in front of the restaurant afterwards. Oh well, it was a special occasion. We were seated right at 6 (the time of our reservation). The hostess also made sure we knew our server's name and brought us ice water. (You can choose bottled or tap). Our server's name Jennifer was friendly and attentive throughout the evening. We ordered the horseradish crusted salmon and the steak frites and our friends ordered the truffle mushroom tagliatelle and the filet mignon. We were all extremely happy and satisfied with our entrees. The portions are perfect. No doggy bags needed and no room for dessert. I really enjoyed the broccolini that accompanied my salmon--it was cooked just enough to retain a little crunch. The savory sauce on the salmon was subtle and complimentary to the flaky fish. We sat in the bar room of this restaurant that used to be a house. The patio looked lovely too, especially on a summer evening so maybe we'll choose that next time. Because you can bet there'll be a next time!

The pesto pasta was over sauced served with dry chicken I couldn't even force down. The brick chicken was better but not enough to get me to come back. As for the service, I think he was too busy to do a decent job. We wanted dessert but gave up on that as we figured it likely wasn't worth the wait.

From the moment you step in, you're greeted with stunning skyline views that stretch across Downtown Los Angeles, setting the tone for an unforgettable night. What makes it stand out is the variety, multiple rooms and themed spaces keep the energy fresh as you explore. Whether you're in the mood for live entertainment, dancing, or a more laid-back lounge vibe, there's something happening around every corner. The highlight has to be the open-air carousel-style bar, a unique centerpiece that adds a fun, upscale twist while you sip cocktails under the city lights. Food options are just as impressive, with a mix of flavors and delicious bites that go way beyond typical bar fare, perfect for pairing with drinks as you bounce between rooms. They even have a wrestling ring with great looking women Overall: A must-visit rooftop in DTLA if you want incredible views, diverse entertainment, and a vibrant, multi-room atmosphere all in one place.

We took it upon ourselves to come early to get a good spot for the fireworks show and got a good spot next to the window (between Brown sheep taqueria and Mother of pearl on the patio) We were having a good time, buying food, drinks etc. mind you it's 3 of us and 3 drinks is coming out to almost $80pp, which is fine we're paying for the drinks and atmosphere. We each bought 2 of those rounds some paying more because it included food, at one point I get up to buy another round & as I'm waiting for my drinks I see the manager come and tell them to clear our table (he didn't know I was sitting at said table ) the guy making my drinks says they're still eating and having drinks, the manager (Louis) says it looks like they're done to me, he walks away and even they say like why does he always come over here acting like we don't do our job it's crazy. I drop off my drinks and run to the restroom, not even 5mins, I come back and I don't see my party, I look around and now they're sitting at another area not near the window where we had originally came earlier to secure. I was a little upset but it was fine we could still see fireworks, it was fine, NOT EVEN 15mins LATER they come again and tell us to move because they have an event starting at 10pm, it is barely 9pm. I express my frustration to the guy that just moved us here, like why would you sit us here to tell us to move 15mins later?! I said is there anything u can do for us, nothing, I asked for the manager, did he come? no! A security comes telling us to move, yes a little nicer but it was more of a let me be more nice so yall can move, asked him for the manager, said he would get him, we stepped out and to the side and waited, saw him talk to the manger they laughed, the manager then went on to record the fireworks and left, we went back to the security and asked if he was going to call the manager again and he seemed annoyed at this point like we were the inconvenience. The manager finally comes and we tell him everything the happened and how we felt after spending well over $300 and he basically looked at us like we were stupid and basically said oh we're having an event so yeah and I said we spent our time, my bday, our money to be here and that's it? And he said well if u wanna sit in the oyster bar(a restaurant that was closed BEHIND WHERE EVERYONE ELSE WAS, BEHIND THEIR SECURITY STANTONS, AWAY FROM EVERYONE NO BAR, NO NOTHING LOL We asked him what his name was he said LOUIS, and left. I understand you're running a business and want to get all the money you can for the next event coming in but that is no way to treat already paying customers that took the time to come to your establishment to spend a holiday and hard earned money when there is literally 1000s of places in Los Angeles and that's upsetting. I know my little review may not make a big difference but I hope it shapes your decision in the next place you spend your money at because there are certainly way better places with way better prices and 100% way better CUSTOMER SERVICE! A waste of time, money, and birthday!
